Staff said it was a "miscommunication." We were required to pay upfront, and during payment one of our family members was rudely asked if they were "sure they were with the Barnes family" because of "how people were looking." Completely unprofessional. The staff pushed tables together so most of us could sit nearby, but when 2 family members arrived 40 minutes later, they were told they couldn't sit with us because "our time was almost up." Less than an hour into our meal, staff asked us to leave--even though we had not finished eating. Another large African American group had the same experience. When I questioned the manager, she said large parties only get one hour, but admitted this information is not posted anywhere. We left feeling disrespected and singled out. We paid full price but were rushed and treated poorly. What should have been a joyful 90th birthday celebration turned into one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had.

I'm just someone that goes for the atmosphere, with a strict but healthy budget, and if I walk away with cash in my pocket, I consider myself lucky. I do not go to get rich! I play only slots, rarely dollar machines, but I mix it up. Not a professional gambler! Today...I decided to go on Memorial Day for a couple of hours. It was a complete bust...many different machines, different bets, etc. I had quite a few "bonus" spins (some up to 20) ...none with much payout. After an hour and a half with no win larger than $20 that was played back, I walked toward the exit. On my way to the door, I stopped and watched other slot players... none showed much success. So I asked, "find anything paying?" Their stories were all like mine... MY POINT? There were more than a few of us walking out that felt like it was all about the house making money to pay for a new hotel. Sour grapes..maybe, but I won't be back for some time.
