If I could give zero stars to this place, I would. What happened to me was egregious and went…read morebeyond bad customer service straight into civil rights violations. I have what is most probably a plantar wart on my foot. If I am correct, it will require an outpatient surgical procedure. I called in the beginning of January when it started to get painful. The office people acted like I was bothering them for asking for an appointment. And then they yelled at me, demanding a referral even though my insurance didn't require it. I agreed to this condition because I knew my PCP would give me one. I asked if I could have an appointment sooner because I was in a lot of pain, but the earliest they could give me was on 1/26. They confirmed my appointment on 1/22. 1/26 was the day after the snowstorm. The clinic is across the street from me so I put my boots on and trudged across the street for my appointment only to find the clinic locked up tight. I checked the call log on my phone and found that I had never received any notification whatsoever that my appointment was canceled, which upset me. So I reported that to my insurance company. I was finally able to reach someone the afternoon of 1/27 to reschedule. I told the person on the phone that I was pretty upset that no one bothered to call me to cancel my appointment, and she straight up lied and claimed that they had called me on 1/23. I said that she had not called because it was not on my call log. Then she said I was an old bat who did not know how to use her iPhone. Then she claimed to have called me that morning to reschedule, which was yet another lie because at the time she claimed to have called, my phone was no more than six inches away from me AND of course there is no record of a call on my call log. This resulted in a pointless and stupid argument because she insisted despite all evidence that these calls had been made, which made me angry because I do not like being gaslighted in this way. All she had to do to end the argument was to say, "I'm sorry. We made a mistake." I finally tabled the argument because I was in a lot of pain and I was desperate for medical treatment. And despite a request for an earlier appointment, I was given one for 2/9. At 9:00 AM on 2/9, the office called me again, canceling my appointment because supposedly Dr. Baah was sick. I was annoyed and disappointed, but not angry. I was offered an appointment for the following Saturday, which was an acceptable solution. At 10:00 AM, while I was trying to log into work and on the phone with someone else, Beatrice the office manager called. I asked her to state her business because I was extremely busy and all she would say is "You are very angry!" I kept asking her to state her business as I lost my phone call thanks to her and I was late to work, and she refused to tell me and just continued to tone police me instead, so I hung up on her so I could put the fire out at work. When I had a minute, I called her back to find out what her deal was. And apparently, my anger WAS the subject of her call. She said, "You are very angry and rude. No one wants to deal with you. I'm canceling your appointment because how DARE you report us to your insurance company!" (Civil rights violation: retaliation.) She continued: "You don't deserve to have medical care from ANYBODY. Go to Urgent Care!" Never mind that all urgent care would do is refer me to a podiatrist because they do not do outpatient surgery. Well, Beatrice, not only did I report you to my insurance company again, but I also filed a human rights complaint with the state and a civil rights complaint with the federal government. You should be fired (and blacklisted) and the whole clinic should be shut down. I also used to work as an office manager to a medical practice and I would never have DREAMED of treating a patient the way you treated me. A pox on the whole house! I especially would never have DREAMED of making unsolicited harassing phone calls to a patient, whether or not their complaint against me was unfounded. Nor would I have EVER canceled an appointment in retaliation. God forbid someone should have a negative reaction to your horrifically rude and unprofessional conduct! I have no opinion on the doctors in this clinic because I was effectively gatekept away from medical care. Because I was denied medical care, I can no longer walk. I have been crippled by this malignant negligence. I have a podiatry appointment next Tuesday with someone else so hopefully this can be reversed, but if it can't, you WILL be hearing from my lawyer and I will sue you, personally, Beatrice, for every penny you have and will ever earn and that clinic WILL be shut down and sued into oblivion! You retaliate against me for a reasonable complaint, I will burn the entire edifice down (metaphorically) and you will have no one to blame but yourself.

OHHH MYYY GODDD! I…read morealways curse myself for not reading reviews before using a business! I cannot legally write what I hope happens to these people!!!!! I knew there were sc*mbags when they wanted cash. This old African who sounds like she has throat cancer (I'm not routing for it or anything, just sayin) tells us it's the policy. We ask why it wasn't in the e-mail. She thinks it over and tells us we have to pay cash even though it's their fault for not telling us. Sadly, we did manage to come up with it. I wish we hadn't!!! This place is the worst!!! My fiancé needed to see a "civil surgeon". This place was on the list, nearby and was the first to respond to e-mail. It is a terrible place filled with awful people. Most of the patients seem like drug addicts - stumbling around, banging into things and people. We finally thought this hell hole was out of our lives. We come home today and there is a bill from a lab for over A THOUSAND DOLLARS! I am blind and English is not my fiancé's first language. These bast*rds didn't tell us that the $365 didn't include the lab work. What the hell was it for?? $365 to take blood and fill out a form? I truly hope the bad karma these people put out in the world comes back to them soon.

My elderly mom is a patient here, and I'm eager to find somewhere else to take her. Primarily, the…read moreissue is the flawed means of communication. Since Medisys is a network, calls to their clinics are directed through a center, not the specific clinic you want to reach. It once took me over a week and a half to get through to the receptionist after my mother fell. Or there have been multiple disconnections while I've been on hold. Now, I've taken to just driving over to talk to someone in person. But that's no guarantee of attention. The doc submitted a new prescription to the pharmacy three days ago. The pharmacy has contacted the doctor's office for the past three days to request a different medication since they're out. I drove to the clinic this morning. The receptionist submitted an urgent note to the doctor and said I'd hear from her by 3. It's almost 5, and I haven't heard anything, and the pharmacy still doesn't have any new information for the prescription. They also use MyChart. My mom only uses her computer for solitaire. But when her regular doctor was leaving, she emailed Mom through MyChart. That was followed by a letter offering her options for new physicians. Since she didn't answer, upon her next visit, she was surprised to find out her doctor had left, and a new one was chosen for her without her knowledge. I understand MYChart is their standard communication method, but it's essential to consider how best to supply the necessary information to the patient. One size does not fit all. I plan to move Mom to an Oak St. Health location as they specialize in gerontology.
