I went here ONLY for birth control, which my insurance pays in full without me having to pay copay…read more When I got there, the receptionist insists that I have to pay the 50 dollar copay because they are a "specialty doc" despite the fact that I am not there for ANY of their "special services". So I had her call my insurance and finally didn't have to pay copay. During the visit the doctor asked me general routine questions about my period. When I got the bill from my insurance, they labeled the visit as a "medical visit" because they made a diagnosis of "irregular period" from my answer of the routine questions regarding my period. And because they made a diagnosis, it was now considered a medical visit and not a contraceptive-only visit and thus I have to pay 50 for the "diagnosis and services" they provided. WHAT SERVICES? They asked me a question, I gave them an answer, and THAT WAS IT. I hate this place for making me pay 50 for answering a routine question. Whether you're rich or poor, that 50 could've been well spent on something other than answering a question. In addition, the doctor only asked me what contraceptive I wanted without giving me proper info. When I asked what the differences were, his answer was a dismissive, "They're all the same."

Checking in is a breeze. You have the ease of several comfy and accommodating lounges while you wait. Access WiFi and have tea until your provider is available. The assistant and tech staff are the consummate professionals. Today was my first time seeing Damilola. I came in to have fibroids checked. The tech did the ultrasound giving me a play-by-play of what she was doing and why. Damilola came in shortly after. Her temperment was very calming. She introduced herself and explained my results, answered my question and expressed care for other health issues I'm currently navigating. Overall, she was very culturally responsive and that's huge for me as a black woman. Viva Eve is a 10/10 for me. Love it here!

I visited this practice over a year ago to confirm a pregnancy. Since it was very early, the doctor…read moreasked me to come in multiple times over the next two weeks to "confirm" the pregnancy, which seemed excessive. Each visit included a urine test, internal and external sonograms -- all of which felt more like requirements than options. It quickly became clear that they try to schedule as many appointments as possible, likely to bill more. Even after my pregnancy was confirmed, they kept asking me to return -- sometimes every other week -- for unnecessary follow-ups. Each visit involved at least an hour-long wait. I was initially told the practice was in-network with my insurance. However, after a few visits, I started receiving unexpectedly high bills. I was then informed I needed to sign over the insurance reimbursement checks directly to them. I did this for a few visits, but eventually stopped going because it felt like they were more focused on billing than care. Even after providing them with all the checks I received, I'm still being sent bills. I contacted their billing department multiple times -- first in November, when they told me it was just an automated message and not to worry, and now again, only to be told I need to contact my insurance and have the checks reissued. Save yourself the stress and go with another practice. This one has been nothing but a hassle.

I like my interactions with Dr. Robinson, but my experience at this office has been horrific. I…read morefound out I was pregnant and was having symptoms that can be considered normal for most but felt off for me. I called the office for an emergency appointment, and the receptionist informed me that I was no longer a patient, and my account had been frozen. When I inquired about this, she told me that I was a no-show for two appointments. I asked for the appointment dates, because I never received a reminder or follow up call. Nor did I receive any notification that I wasn't a patient. Come to find out, they had the wrong phone number on file for me. Despite it being their error, I was told that the doctor was the only one authorized to put me in the system and they guaranteed me a call back. Four weeks later, while constantly searching for appointments and patiently waiting to see new doctors, I miscarried. It was a brutal and complicated 5-week process. I never heard from Dr. Robinson. I have other family and friends who visit her office and when they informed her of my situation. She was shocked and apparently was never informed that I was denied an appointment. Life happens so I moved on to new practice. A little over a year later and two years since my last appointment with Dr. Robinson, I get an email telling me I owe payments for appointments from 2022 (it's 2025) and that this first notice is also my final notice with the threat of collections. When I tried to get more information on the phone, the receptionist/front desk staff was extremely nasty. She just kept saying they had a new system and all old balances were being billed now. I shared that the experience is just disappointing, because the communication is insensitive and unclear. She abruptly shut me down and said she was let the doctor know and asked if there was anything else, before hanging up. ZERO decorum or sensitivity training. The proper response would have been to express understanding for the frustration, apologize on behalf of the office and explain exactly what the expenses were for. Just an acknowledgement of the inconvenience of the situation, because by the way; payment needed to be made in-person! I took two trips to the office to resolve this, because the entire office closes at lunch time (another failure in communication...and it was 2 pm by the way). When I finally made it to the office, I told the woman at the front desk that I received a letter for a balance owed and I was there to pay the bill. Dr. Robinson was there and walked away while saying she didn't understand what was wrong with the billing system (that was comforting). The young lady at the desk did not even acknowledge me or look in my direction. She just said okay and I waited there. after giving her my name. I finally asked if she needed my date of birth any other info and she said, the letter you received should have the amount you owe listed. I responded that yes, I was aware of the balance but figured she needed to pull up the record on her end to clear the balance. She was extremely rude and dismissive. She handed me a receipt after I paid and I asked her to confirm that I was all set and my account was closed. She said she I still had an account and I reiterated the issue from years ago and even mentioned the miscarriage. She didn't even look my way. She said, "Okay it's closed now, anything else?" I left there fighting the urge to burst into tears out of anger over how dismissive and rude she is. If I can give Dr. Robinson one piece of advice, it would be to get rid of that female staff member at the reception desk....the one with the very full lashes. The office has its logistics issues, but when you have staff who multiply the issues and add fuel to the fire it's way worse. Even with all of the issues, I would have returned to this office had it not been for the front desk and I know others with similar experiences who are moving to other offices as well.

Honestly I've always had a good experience. Dr. Wang has always been caring and attentive. Her PA…read moreIngrid is an absolute sweetheart. Her staff and practice are super nice and I never waited long for my scheduled appointments. After my miscarriage in April 2019 under the care of a different obgyn in Flushing I suffered from secondary infertility. Which led me to turn to many different ObGynd, since that doctor left fetal tissue inside of me when i insisted he remove it, which he did and sent to the lab for testing. I saw a total of 9 obgyns from 2019 to 2021 from Long Island to Forest Hills to Fresh Meadows to Flushing. Never thought I would get pregnant naturally, let alone have a baby and here I am on maternity leave with my sweet little boy. I dont know if it's luck or what but Dr.Wang did prescribe me things along the way that may have helped me carry this baby to term. Most notable to me and my husband is that Dr.Wang delivered our baby boy. My first baby, my doctor came the next day for 2 minutes and left...literally "How are you, good? Didnt expect the baby to come early, I will see you in a month, call my office to make an appointment." Dr.Wang came to the hospital after I checked in, she witnessed me pass out from low blood pressure and jumped right in with the other hospital staff to revive me and test to see what went wrong. She came back 17 hours later at 3am when the hospital called her to tell her the baby was coming soon and she delivered in the middle of the night at 3am, she stayed to make sure I was ok. List of doctors I saw post miscarriage, Dr. Nerenberg, Dr.Qiao, Dr.Cindy, Northwell Health Feretility Center, Dr Scholl, Dr. Eric Berg, Dr. Felix Cohen, few staff at Garden Obgyn, whom I can no longer remember the names of. But... yea.... my point is it has been a long struggle. Not saying those doctors are bad, but a few really pushed hard on fertility treatments and essentially wrote me off for getting pregnant natually.

I wish I had read my fellow yelpers before I walked in today. I was doing an annual physical exam…read morein the same building and I was told I could do a gynecology exam across the hallway. I was happy but now I do regret. My experience is not good at all. As my fellow yelpers pointed out, the receptionists are so rude, arrogant and impatient!! After my exam (which was a rush and I don't feel it personal), I was referred out to do a screening test but when I called the place I was referred to, they told me that the earliest they can do is early February. So I called back the receptionist and asked them if there are other places they could recommend and one of them literally said just let her wait, she is not important/ in no rush anyways. HOW DARE HER just determine it for me whether my situation is important or not as a receptionist?!! And of course I am in a rush cause I just want to get everything done and never see your face again. Clearly she is not putting patients first! Hello lady, can I sue you if anything serious happened and I am not treated on time just because you are not responsible? Very sick and uncomfortable experience to recall upon.
