He was so kind, gracious, and easy to talk to -- we even chatted about my son's dream of becoming an electrician one day. I also want to thank his sweet daughters, who noticed us having trouble and patiently waited while their dad helped two strangers. What a wonderful family and an incredible example of generosity and heart. If everyone at Hernandez Electric is anything like Jose, you're in great hands. I'll definitely remember your company for our next home project!

After a disappointing experience with a chimney sweep last year, I made sure to hire a true…read moreprofessional this time--and I'm so glad I did. Dennis is an absolute pro who delivers top-quality service and value. He's incredibly knowledgeable, fixing things I didn't even notice, and left zero mess behind. My wood insert is now firing on all cylinders, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Dennis went above and beyond by repairing my chimney cap, which I had no idea was bent and collecting rainwater. His expertise is unmatched, and his pricing is extremely affordable for the level of service he provides. Last year, I paid twice as much for a fraction of the quality. I'll never use anyone else for my chimney needs until Dennis retires!

He swooped in faster than a speeding bullet--returning my call immediately and showing up on my roof within hours. After waiting over a month for a call back from his competitor (with reviews scary enough to give anyone nightmares), I couldn't be happier I found Ray. He inspected my wood stove like a pro, gave me fantastic advice for future upgrades, and made sure everything was spotless. Ray even took apart the pipes, scrubbed them clean, and showed us the shocking amount of debris he removed. Our home is now warm, cozy, and smells amazingly fresh! Ray's speed, patience, and attention to detail blew me away--he's reliable, professional, and quick without cutting corners. Master Soot Chimney Sweep is the real deal. If your chimney needs rescuing, Ray's your guy. Highly recommend!

I recently used Wyke's Chimney and worked with Greg, who stepped in on extremely short notice to…read moreclean, inspect, and repair my fireplaces. We were having horrendous back smoke and knew something was off. Most chimney cleaners and service people were not free in my area for a month, and after a phone call, he was here in a couple of days! From the moment he arrived, Greg was professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. He not only handled the cleaning and repairs with expertise but also took the time to thoroughly inspect my fireplaces and answer all of my questions. His clear explanations and attention to detail made the entire process stress-free and reassuring. We ended up having clogged spark arrestors, clogged pipes, and didn't have a waterproof seal on the chimney. The last chimney sweep that happened a couple of months ago didn't even catch this, which was crazy. Greg also vacuumed out the interior of the fireplace and we immediately saw improvement - no back smoke in sight! I'd highly recommend him for anyone who needs fireplace maintenance and repair.

Later on I needed some plumbing work done, I made several calls to their company but never heard back. Two days ago I contacted them again for a plumbing issue. The man on the phone asked if yesterday afternoon or today (9:30 am) would be better. I said today would be fine. 9:30 am came and went. I made several calls to two different numbers yet I was never able to contact them or get a call back. This interaction has proven that even though they did an excellent first job, it is a waste of time trying to contact them again. As much as I hate to do it, I am forced to rate this business as a one star due to a lack of communication and a less than decent effort to return my calls. If you can get them out to your house you will get great results. The trick is, getting them there to do the work. I won't make the mistake of contacting them again.

After the first torrential rains this season, we discovered that the crawlspace under our recently…read morepurchased home became a lake, leaking into and flooding the garage. Our realtor suggested Coleman Construction. They were soon on the job in a week. I gotta tell ya, these guys are hard workers! I had a crew of sometimes as many as 5 guys under there jackhammering a new french drain around the inside perimeter of the entire house and installing a sump pump. It was 2 weeks of very hard work in a tight space, pulling out buckets of dirt and bringing in rock for the french drain, using nothing bigger than home depot buckets and wooden sleds with ropes. They always had a great attitude and never let up on the work until it was done. They left the jobsite clean. Now, we have a beautiful watertight crawlspace with a huge perimeter french drain covered by thick plastic, and the inside wall against the garage is coated with a waterproof sealant to boot! After the subsequent rains came, everything has been perfectly dry. That sump pump was sometimes going off every 15 seconds, but the system works perfectly and we haven't seen a drop of water anywhere it shouldn't be. Coleman Construction is hard working, honest, fair and friendly. I can't recommend them enough!
