We had a fantastic experience with Chillin' Mattresses thanks to Fernando's outstanding service. From start to finish, he communicated with us clearly and consistently, making the entire purchasing process smooth and stress‑free. We purchased a task chair and were thrilled with the great deal Fernando offered. Because of logistics, he even went the extra mile and delivered the chair to us personally. He took the time to demonstrate all of its features and showed us how to adjust it for optimal posture and comfort. Fernando's professionalism, kindness, and commitment to customer satisfaction are unmatched. We highly recommend Chillin' Mattresses and will absolutely return for future purchases. read more

I had a fantastic experience with Chillin Mattress! From the very first phone call, Fernando was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I was shopping on a limited budget and called around to get quotes from several places. Not only did he give me the best deal in town, but he was honest, easy to work with, and never made me feel pressured. The price was a huge help, and I truly feel like I got a great value for my money. He was ready to deliver my mattress the same day I called, but I wasn't quite ready yet. I ended up changing the delivery date a few times, and he was always flexible, patient, and understanding. When delivery day finally came, he was right on time, professional, and genuinely pleasant to work with. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. He even checked in afterward to make sure everything was going well, which I really appreciated. I recently had a medical procedure, so having a clean, comfortable bed to recover in has been such a relief. I've spent more time on this mattress than I ever expected to, and I can honestly say it's incredibly comfortable. Not exactly the kind of mattress test drive I had in mind, but it has definitely passed with flying colors! Great customer service, excellent communication, fair pricing, and a great mattress. I highly recommend Chillin Mattress and Fernando! read more

If you're looking for a quality discount mattress and desk with a reliable guy, Fernando is your guy. He's responsive, reliable and not pushy. In our case, we knew what we wanted, and we didn't want to pay the full price at a brick and mortar store. Fernando said he would try to find our mattress, but he would need a bit of time to look on our behalf, but he could not guarantee he would be able to find it. Sure enough, three weeks later, Fernando came up with our mattress and adjustable base at a discount price. I'm pretty skeptical of salesmen. But, for a big purchase such as a mattress, it's important to find someone reliable and honest to deal with. Fernando is great, and we highly recommend him. read more

Purchase a NEW Queen brand name mattress, Sealy, for less than half it's regular retail price. Fernando, the owner treated us very well, and took the time to show us the mattresses he suggested based on our specific needs (Queen, firm with soft top). After laying in both mattresses, we chose the one we liked and within less than 2 hours he delivered it to our home. Very happy to have purchased from him! Highly recommended! p.s. He also sells bed sheets, pillows and other items such as office chairs, massage chairs and more. read more

My husband and I were hesitant at first to purchase a mattress outside of the typical mattress places. Last time we spent about $3k on a sale from a place. I came across "Chillin Mattress" and the prices were great so I was weary. Too good to be true I thought would apply. My husband and I decided why not see what they have. I'm so glad we did. We saved so much money and got a brand new Sterns and foster for about 70% less the store around is offered. We paid for delivery.. On top of that Fernando went over and beyond to help get the mattress up 3 flights of stairs on our house. I will definitely be going back and referring everyone I know. read more

Fernando has been awesome from the beginning--very professional, responsive, helpful and courteous. I was looking for a used Herman Miller Aeron office chair and found him through Craigslist. It was priced fairly and we made an in-person appt to check it out. After sitting in the chair and giving us a demo, I could tell he was very knowledgeable about all the ways to adjust it. I ended up buying a completely different chair elsewhere but would return to Fernando for other furniture and mattress needs. Super friendly service!! read more

Fernando took care of me and was able to deliver a mattress to my house on the same day of purchase. Great customer service!

When I found out that the chair my PT advised I purchase was over $1700, I searched on CL and fortunately found Chillin Mattress for $500. Once I arrived at the store, Fernando was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgable about this product. I will be back! read more

Fernando was an incredible help with finding a great deal on a used office chair. He was knowledgeable about the product and made sure to give an exhaustive walkthrough of all key functionality prior to purchase. Thank you! read more

Found Fernando on Craigslist when I was looking for a Herman Miller office chair. If anyone has gotten anything on craigslist, especially sight unseen, you're really rolling the dice so I was extremely, and pleasantly, surprised to find that this was an actual business. Fernando was prompt when requesting information via text and, even better was happy to deliver the chair to me at no charge. Not only did he bring it to my door, but he took the time to make sure I understood how to use the chair. And while it was pre-owned, you certainly couldn't tell. Will definitely be checking out his store next time I need furniture. read more

Bought 2 mattresses and couldn't have been happier with my experience!! Fernando was so nice, straight to the point, patient when I had issues making space in my van for 2 mattresses (and totally tetris'ed them in there like a G). Would absolutely return and highly recommend; please support great local small biz like this hidden gem!! Thanks again, Fernando!! read more

Can't say enough good things about my experience at Chillin Mattress. I called and set up an appointment with Fernando and he showed me all the mattresses that were in my budget. I couldn't believe the prices. Mattresses that were $1500 at major furniture stores he had at $600 and $700. He even hooked it up with free delivery and payment plan. Definitely recommend this place to family and friends. read more

I recently bought a mattress from Fernando and it has definitely been a life changer! I went in not knowing the first thing about comfortable mattresses and he really helped guide me in the right direction for the best one and let me tell you ... my sleep has been the best it's been in a while !! He gave me multiple options while explaining the purpose and benefits of each. To top it off, he was able to work with me as I paid in installments. Fernando is very professional and easy to work with! I definitely recommend you to check out his business! read more

I had the best experience buying from this company. Never judge a book by its cover. You should call for appointment like we did. Tell him what your looking for. When you get there he will have ready just what you asked for. Immediate delivery and very attentive. Great prices as well. No need to look elsewhere they have it. Very happy customers. We will refer all our friends. read more

Purchased an office chair(herman miller aeron chair) from Fernando(the owner of the store) and he insisted that the chair was working properly and it was a fully adjustable for $400 cash. I requested a return because the arm rests had SCRATCHES on them and the chair was over 10+ years old. I, then, request for a return and he only gives me back $350. Also, when I met with him to do the return, he gives me a teared up $100 with writing on it that I almost could not deposit. This is a terrible store. DO NOT buy from here or you will be disappointed. This place tries to scam customers. read more

I'm truly thankful for Fernando his response his professionalism attentiveness timing and setting up was beyond excellent. Very convenient and well priced. Thank you so very much. read more

I had just recently moved to San Diego and was in need of a bed. Fernando was incredibly helpful and helping me find what was best for me. He already had a general idea of what I was looking for and had quite a few options set out for me as soon as I got to his space. His helpfulness was greatly appreciated. Also, he delivered which was a huge plus and was very communicative through the process. He was flexible and was able to come whenever it worked best for me. Great business owner! read more

My husband and I are thrilled with our recent mattress purchase from Chillin' Mattress. We'd visited a handful of stores ranging from higher end furniture retailers to those underground discount mattress locations and had difficulty finding a comfortable mattress at an agreeable price point. We contacted Fernando at Chillin' Matress and told him what we were looking for. He was extremely friendly and helpful. We booked an appointment and when we arrived, Fernando had several mattresses ready for us to try. Fernando worked with us to understand what we liked and went through considerable effort to find us the right one. Within an hour, we had found the perfect (brand new) mattress at an amazing price, hundreds of dollars less than the list price at a furniture store we'd visited. We LOVE our new bed and appreciate we didn't have to break the bank to sleep comfortably. If you need a mattress, check out Chillin' Mattress. Fernando is kind, honest, and fair and we're so pleased with the experience we had. read more

Friendly staff, and great quality mattresses. We are return customers. Definitely glad to have found Chillin' Mattress!

Nearly two weeks of blissful sleep thanks to Fernando and Chillin mattress. Fernando and his team took as much time if not more than the high pressure box stores to help us find the mattress that was right for us. No pressure just a lot of good advice and insight. Not to mention the price was definitely right!! He delivered the same day. Highly recommend Chillin Mattress. Plus it's nice to support independent local businesses. read more

Very fast turn around time. Fernando was very polite, professional and accommodating. We were in need of a hospital type bed on short notice due to my mom coming down ill. I highly recommend this business, they came through in a pinch. read more

Good little place. I needed a very firm mattress. Like, really really firm. Pretty much all stores I have been to (mattress firm, IKEA etc etc) have mattress but not as firm as wanted to. reached out these guys and made an appointment, didn't really expect I would get anything because it's a small store. Anyway, Fernando helped to get what I wanted. Got actually a good foam mattress, I didn't think a foam mattress can really be that firm. Good service. Fernando helped tie up the mattress in my car as well. read more

I am moving this week and was in the market for a King Mattress. I wanted to invest in a quality one but wasn't sure what I wanted. So, I went to discount mattress and laid on a lot of beds and finally got my heart set on the Sealy Hybrid, Silver Chill Plush. However, it retails at $2,700. They sometimes get mattresses in from their outlets and can offer discounted rates but they didn't have any in stock. This led me to look on offer up! I found Chillin' Mattress through Fernando's offer up and he has posted the exact same bed at a discounted rate! Fernando was flexible with timing and allowed me to come at 7pm after work. I wasn't sure what to expect - and when I got there I arrived to see a warehouse full of mattresses. We pulled down the one I was wanting and was able to lay on it to test for quality. It was just as I remembered and was stoked to find it at a way better price! I saved over $1,000 and I am so excited for my new bed! Huge THANK YOU to Fernando and Chillin' Mattress!!! Highly recommend! read more

Stopped by to look at upgrading my chair and walked out with a really nice Herman Miller Mirra. Fernando was very patient as I bounced back and fourth between his selection of nice pre-owned Herman Miller chairs. I wasn't really looking to purchase at the moment but Fernando showed me all the features, allowed me to sit in them for quite some time, and allowed me to make my decision on what fits my needs best. There was zero pressure to purchase a chair but after sitting in them I couldn't resist upgrading. If you want that one on one attention from someone who shows passion and knowledge in his field stop by and ask for Fernando. Very solid guy with lots of patience... Thanks Fernando. read more

Fernando is my go to guy for high end mattresses at discount prices. His products are excellent and his customer service is unsurpassed. Purchased an adjustable bed and had an issue with one of the remotes (I accidentally washed it). He provided immediate support and kept track of the warranty process from start to finish! He also stocks a wide variety of name brand mattresses, is knowledgeable about all of his products, will work to find exactly what you're looking for (regardless of your price point) and offers very competitive pricing. His charge for delivery is reasonable and he is consistently on time and super flexible with dates (he delivered a gorgeous pillow top last SUNDAY). I am super picky and was beyond pleased with every aspect of each of my transactions (purchase, delivery, follow up and, of course, sleep!). If you want an incredible mattress at an unbelievable price, this is your man! read more

Purchased an office chair from here and they would not take returns for it. It's height adjustment was broken. Terrible company and staff
