Stopped by here with a friend that was passing through. It's a nice little spot to grab a drink. I did not try the food but did notice that if you check in on Yelp you receive a free chips and salsa. It did take a minute for the bartender to take our order. They just kept saying hi; which is nice but after three times, I just want to get a drink. They didn't let my buddy in because he had "golf shorts" on. My friends called ahead and made sure that shorts were okay to wear because it was 100 degrees outside. I ordered a strawberry Chill-Rita because it was on the Sunday all day Happy Hour for 5.99. When I got the check, they charged me full price, which is 8.00. After bringing it to our waitresses attention twice, she said it's only for "house chill-rita" and I got the strawberry one YET IT GIVES YOU 5 FLAVORS. I'm going to attach images of the drink menu and exactly what I ordered + my receipt. Under the "Frozen Margarita" section, you will see "Chill-Rita" and then 5 different flavors to choose from. Why would you charge someone 8.00 when it CLEARLY says no where on the menu that it was only HOUSE chill-Rita's, not the 5 other flavors... I will absolutely never be back to this bar. Ever. Came here for shrimp screwers and was not disappointed. My server Baylee took great care of me. Had plenty of $2.50 Coronas on Tuesday until my server had to leave. Chilllllll Barrrrrrr. This is a realllll place. I was in Grapevine for a wedding. The night before the wedding party was patrolling the streets. Christmas decorations on fleek, weather wasn't so bad, and there were plenty of happening places. Problem was everything was full or too small for our massive group of 20+. I teared up when we finally came to chill bar and it was our only option. RIP the dream of all those cozy wine bars. You should know, I don't like sports bars. I mean, I'm a team player but I just don't want to spend money at them generally speaking. This place is very much a sports bar. The booze probably isn't as cheap as it should be and the girls have to wear tight fitted tops. They do have a lot of space though so it got the job done. When they saw our giant group, they event opened up a big space near the back to accommodate. They have some baller fries but other than that it's your typical selection of beer and wells. read more

Last night was my first experience at this bar. I thought overall it was a great time for our friends birthday. But I will say the food wait time is terrible. My friend waited 1.5 for some bacon wrapped shrimp. Along they were delicious, did they have to go catch them beforehand? Getting the wait staff to get our drinks in a timely manner was also really inconsistent. I also think the Dj was more use to a wedding environment. Went by for a burger and a beer late on a Monday night. Turns out the kitchen closes at midnight for everything except pizzas, so I ended up ordering a BBQ chicken pizza. It came out in a timely fashion and was a nice thin crust. My friend built his own pizza and they were both good. The bartender was very friendly (Liz, I think was her name) and I was surprised to see Shiner Bach Holiday Cheer on tap so of course I got one. My beer never ran dry and service was exceptional. Did I mention Monday's are half price pizza days? Great bar to Chill at the times I've gone.. The music is fantastic and the drinks are decently priced. Our cocktail waitress Rachel was awesome. There are plenty of TVs here to watch sports. Recently a friend of mine was denied access into the bar cause of his shorts which doesn't make sense as we've gone multiple times and he wore similar shorts. *Update* I have had great experiences here with Regina and Leslie at the bar. After reading my review the manager contacted me and wanted to correct the mishap. It shows initiative which I really appreciate. I may give this place another try in the future. This place is great if you want to get the worst service of your life. Never have I been treated more disrespectfully by the a staff anywhere. I have worked in restaurants for 7 years and the way the bartenders were acting was embarrassing. They were over serving everyone and the more drunk the people got the more they asked for in tips and for drinks. This was an exchange I heard, "you can't drink anymore", the guy said "why" and she yelled "because you don't tip good". I mean seriously, just avoid this place. We came here because our dogs could be on the patio. It's started raining and we found the umbrella and moved it to cover us so we could continue to bring service to this establishment. The manger came out and old us that because the umbrellas are so expensive we can't use them if if rains we have to go inside....we have dogs sir. Ahhh, another road trip West from our part of the Universe to lovely downtown Grapevine. Chill is a cool place to "chill out" @ the bar. Comfy bar chairs with the strip of ice on the bar top to keep your brew really cold. Greeted warmly by Michelle, the bartender on duty for our first visit to this dive-y spot in Grapevine on a quiet Monday afternoon. She was most personable, friendly and quite attentive. Only a few occupied tables of couples, guys watching the multiple TVs all around; not crowded and loud as other reviewers have posted about night time visits. We liked that. It's kinda dark, guess it's supposed to be, but a nice laid back vibe. Painted concrete floors, high top tables, dark woods. Definitely a neighborhood kinda place. 1/2 price pizza on Mondays; really, now that's amazing. We ordered our brews, perused the menu and decided on a 14" pizza, sorta thin crust (Michelle told us the crust was made in house), with pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and black olives. Ya know, this wasn't a bad pizza; just enough sauce and cheese, added some red pepper and Parmesan, and it was pretty darn tasty. And for only $3.98 (regular price is $7.99 for this large size). A great deal, don'cha think? Found that they had some other menu options that were also very inexpensive, and certainly would rate this spot as having better than average bar food options (including a Tilapia dish for $7.99) than found at most spots of this caliber. (Think I recall Michelle also saying they have 1/2 priced items most every day of the week, including burgers) Beer prices were nothing spectacular, a little high my BFF thought; Miller Lite draft $3.50. My Heineken was $4.25. But, boy were they ice cold and yummy. Yep, we found this to be somewhere we would probably return on a lazy afternoon when in the Grapevine area. Chill : Where Grapevine meets Jersey Shore!!! Went here after meeting up my friends at Cork It for a girls night. We wanted dance and the waiter at Cork It recommended this. He says the staff goes there after they close. So we are like...cant be that bad. Walked across the street and went right in. First off...I dont see how this place could be dubbed as a sports bar...didnt have the greasy food and neon sign sports bar feel. Plenty of plasma screens...so maybe thats it. The crowd was a mix....from cougars...to hotties like us....and those pesky fist pumping, Jersey Shore wannabees!! There were a few ladies who felt the need to expose their flat booties while grinding with some random ass dude. You are skinny and cute... there is no need for that. Dont complain the next day if you wake up with him and have to do the walk of shame...and he doesnt call you again. The drinks were kind of weak...we bought for our group 3 vodka tonics...well vodka, nothing fancy...and 2 double royal f*cks...the tab was 50 bucks alone for that...I am like are we in San Diego or in Grapevine, TEXAS??? Why are they charging like we are at a real club?? The music was good...could have been mixed better. As a BAR - great specials but drinks are weak. As a CLUB - music way too loud but seems to be packed at nights.
