Ordered a Deluxe Grilled Chicken Sandwich with french fries and Mac & Cheese. The Mac and Cheese was very tasty creamy white cheese. The plentiful portion of french fries were nicely seasoned with both salt and pepper. The grilled chicken sandwich included, lettuce, a slice of tomato, pickles, and mayo. The grilled chicken was on a large bun, but the grilled chicken filled only 1/2 of the bun. We used to purchase this sandwich with the avocado which was a large piece of grilled chicken, but I guess times have changed. I cut my sandwich in half because it was so large to pick it up to eat. The first bite of my sandwich had no chicken. The chicken had slid off the bun. I found it on my plate. Replaced it onto my 1/2 bun and could see that the grilled chicken filled only 1/2 of that 1/2 bun. It was a tasty piece of grilled chicken about 1/4" thick with a very nice flavor. The second half of my sandwich had a similar size piece of chicken, just like the first, on only 1/2 of the bun. There was nice slice of tomato on the other half of the bun. Nice to have the tomato, but it would have been nice to have a large piece of chicken. Or maybe use a smaller sandwich bun, to compensate for the smaller piece of chicken. I know that the bad economy is impacting restaurants very hard ~ fewer people can afford to dine out and costs for restaurants have increased. I will continue to support Chili's unless the chicken get s any more smaller. read more

A couple of my friends and I meet up for Happy Hour drinks $6 Margarita's(monthly special). We sat in the bar area at a high top table. The bartender remembered us even though we hadn't been in a few months. We all 3 had the $6 1800 Stay-Cay Margs and started with chips and salsa. Two of us ordered meals, I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla and my friend ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta but without meat. Our meals were good and service was fine. The Pros: Fairly easy waitlist check-in. We did enjoy our food. I recommend the brisket quesadillas and of course, their southwestern eggrolls never disappoint. We also had the Ranchero Tacos which I enjoyed. Our server was really nice and our items came out in a timely manner. The Cons: They need to deep clean this place. The floors, the walls... dusty and gross. I know it's a restaurant and stuff gets all over but, the dust on the wall next to me has been there for probably a year. When you see dried-up ketchup smear next to you as you eat, kinda not kosher. At least once a week a restaurant should go through a deep clean to ensure sanitation and especially during a time when there is a virus, I hope they decide to consider that. read more

Very subpar experience. And that's saying something when my expectations were not high to begin with. For starters we were seated in the bar area despite over half the available tables being empty. And to say seated is an understatement. They have four tables crammed into an area where two would be tight. Even the staff had difficulty maneuvering to their tables. We ordered an appetizer combo which was average at best. Most disappointing was the SW egg rolls (one if few items I always liked) was not good. They were cut in half which caused them to dry out very fast. My daughter liked her pasta dish but the brisket burger I ordered was barely average. The bright spot was the staff. They did a fantastic job and should be commended. The back of house however need training on how to cook food supply ingredients. read more

This was not a good experience at all. We were seated and left sitting without contact for around 15 minutes. When our server came over she took our order and left us sitting again for another 10 minutes before she brought back our drinks (water and a soda). Then the appetizer came out, no plates and the item was incomplete and we had to ask her to correct it. Another 10 minutes. Then 15 more minutes before our entree came out. We saw her once before the end of the meal. She never asked if we wanted refills on the drinks. Following the conclusion we waited another 10 minutes before she arrived with the check. The restaurant was pretty empty of customers and it was mid afternoon so there should not have been reason for this to have taken place. Man, let me tell you. Just stopped in here to eat lunch. Took advantage of the 3 for $10 offer. Very fast and attentive service. Got the chips and salsa and Cajun pasta. Chips were a little cold, but that was the BEST Cajun pasta I have ever eaten at a chili's anywhere. It was AMAZING!!! Definitely glad I chose to come here for lunch. They have definitely set a high standard for themselves with that pasta and I will most definitely be coming back to see if their other options are that good. I love chili's normally, but this location has little to no management/supervision and is very unsanitary. Waited for about 45 minutes for a table around 9 at night, one of the hosts asked a server in front of us if she will take a table and she looked at us and said no, loud enough for us to hear. When we got sat we waited over 15 minutes for drinks, and saw multiple servers walk out of the kitchen with food still in their mouth, chewing. The time I ordered to go, they gave me the wrong order and when I called they said there wasn't a manager available. Definitely don't recommend this location. read more

Absolutely blown away by the treatment we were given at this location. We came in with a medium sized group of 11 people but we're denied to be seated because they were "busy". This while only about 2/3rds of the tables were in use. There was a counted total of 5 tables together in the area on the north side of the building, including several others scattered throughout the restaurant. Other Chili's locations in other towns have always been great serving groups and accommodating, but this one wasn't even willing to try. Maybe a better staff should be considered if they can't even handle the location being nearly full. read more

Chili's is pretty damn scrumptious, but, my girlfriend and I went here yesterday and we both ordered the Fajitas, one combination of steak & shrimp and the other carnitas & chicken. The shrimp had a fishy after taste, steak was okay. My carnitas were two round spherical chunks, sort of crispy edges, and one of the balls was straight fat. The chicken was seriously thinly sliced (so it dried out quick). And both our plates had a shit ton of onion and bell pepper, they were super generous with the vegetables for some reason. They said fuck it and gave us like two whole onions and two bell peppers sizzling on our platters lol. Also, the Pico was bland. So, the quality of our food wasn't that great, but the sever was excellent. read more

I told the young lady taking my order(who was half asleep or brain-dead I believe) that we usually go through two baskets of chips dining in and ask her for an extra. That boggles her mind. I offered to pay for it. She said there was no way to ring in just a bag of chips. She had to call to supposed managerial type people to help her figure this out, IE; how much it would be and how to bring it in. One of the people in charge wound up taking a dollar 42 after $5 and some odd cents which is what I would have paid for chips and salsa. Wow what a deal- not!. I explained again that had we been dining in we are never charged for the second basket of chips. (Yes we love our chips. Who doesn't love Chili's chips?(. Don't you think immediately free bag of extra chips along with a $20 order would have been a nice gesture, in addition to not making me wait and serving the other people more rapidly, as well? Unbelievable the lack of Common Sense and lack of autonomy they instill with their employees to send the customer away happy. Last time at this location was 2 yrs ago and I gave 5 stars. Today not only was my experience poor, the food and treatment was unacceptable. Did a curbside to go, ordered at 4:55 on a Wednesday. Arrived at my pickup window time 5:21. Got out of car to ck order that was put in back and received 1/2 slab of ribs instead of full slab I paid for. Covid is Red in this area which is why I did curbside. I go in and Crystal has mask below nose, rubbing her forehead, hair, and face, opens the tray and sees the half slab. Goes to get the Mgr (Lee) and comes back to say he is very busy. I ask for refund. She goes to get him again and he comes to register, looks at the receipt and again opens the food, makes no eye contact, does not apologize, does not say a word to me. My appetizer is now cold. I again ask for a refund and Crystal walks away. When she comes back I ask how long, tell her I need a new appetizer,, she says 5 min. (25 min later I have the cold 1/2 rack, they added another 1/2 rack and I have a cold Texas fries- she never acknowledged my request for a replacement.) The Mexican rice serving is shown in pics, it tasted like it was scraped off the bottom of the pan and very small portion. We rarely eat out and was very disappointed in this whole experience. And I put a tip on my order. The ribs were unfortunately very dry. The roasted corn was awesome. read more

I spent $36 plus tip on chips & queso, a salad, and chicken planks. Used curbside and took it home. My daughter had a couple bites of her chicken and I did the same with my salad. We were both so disappointed with the taste we were not able to eat it. All of it went in the trash except for the bag of chips. The salsa was not the same as I remember in years past, either. Yet another Topeka chain restaurant that does not live up to their brand standards. We were meeting a group for lunch and someone picked this place. I was kind of excited since I hadn't lived near a Chili's in about 2 years. The table for 6 barely fit our group. We were not comfortable and the two people at the open end almost had to eat on the corners. Many of the lunch specials involved 2 plates, plus my lunch special came with chips & salsa. The server was not good about removing the plates to give us some wiggle room. She did not refill the drinks. Once we got the ticket (because one of our party needed to leave), the server totally disappeared. Many of us were still eating....and we totally ran out of drinks. Some wanted to-go containers and we had to flag down another server to help us. We won't be back to this location...and that's a shame considering there are a few things on the menu I like and it's convenient. read more
