It's a chilis. Super busy on the weekends with families and small get togethers, but always friendly staff. Definitely get the pasilla chicken. Only 410 calories and really excellent flavors! Just finished eating there and burgers were okay, tacos were okay, worst steak fajitas I've ever had. Some peices had so much gristle that even their kitchen knives had been unable to cut into strips. The meat was gray and not seared and had virtually no flavor. For a restaurant that brags about their fajitas this was exceptionally poor. I know they can do better because I've had great fajitas at this location in the past. read more

I have never done yelp reviews, but felt the need to after our experience tonight. The hostess was nice. I ordered the Santa Fe crispers salad. My husband ordered the quesadillas. My daughter ordered the bottomless soup and salad. My 5 year old son ordered the cheeseburger sliders. I also ordered the red nose margarita. That was good. Our drinks were brought out pretty quickly by someone (not Chelsea, our server)My husband got his soup and ate it all. About 15 minutes later, my daughter got her soup with the rest of our food. The salads were horrible. Mine was mostly chips. My daughters was mostly cheese. What little lettuce there was, was brown and wilted. I wasn't about to spend $20 on something so disgusting. My son's first slider was fine, but when he bit into the second one, it was red in the middle. Someone (not our server, again) asked us how everything was. I told him that we couldn't eat it. I asked if all of their lettuce was this way. He said yes and they had had issues since the recall of romain lettuce. Our salads were iceberg lettuce, not romaine. Whatever. So I asked if I could just have something else. By the time we got our food, we had already filled up on chips, so we ended up taking it to go. The manager did offer us a free desert, which was nice. We took that to go as well. We were very dissatisfied with Chelsea. It seemed like everyone else was doing her job except her. She didn't apologize or try to make it right. The only thing she did was take our order and bring out the boxes and desert. I used to work as a server and know the value of customer service. We paid our bill in cash and she only brought out $10 bills. Pretty presumptuous. We usually tip very well, but not tonight. We were never offered refills or anything and overheard her other tables saying the same. I understand that people have bad days. I hope this isn't normal. Honestly I would leave zero stars if I could. I went with my grandmother and aunt to have dinner. The three of us felt racially discriminated upon arrival by our server. Our server did not approach us until after 4 other tables sat down. We ordered an appetizer and she basically throw it on the table the ranch spilled on our table and half our appetizer was on the table. No apologizes or any of that sort she just walked away and said enjoy. When we would try to ask her for something she would immediately ignore us and turn around. When we got our cheesecake it was literally frozen and we were unable to eat it. She never approached us to ask if everything was okay. First and last time we go here. read more

Was very disappointed the past couple times I went. Food has been cold and service is terrible. Even tonight we decided to give it one more try. Our server came and got our drinks and we ordered food when she came back with our drinks. We ordered an app that never came (she told us she forgot) but it was on our bill. We never saw her again. Never got a refill on our beverages and never came back to take off the app from our bill. But she had no problem sweeping the floor and talking to her friends while all our sodas and waters were empty. We grabbed a manager and he just processed our check out. When my brother said were going to Chilis, I was really excited. I was expecting a clean place where I can enjoy myself and the company of my family. I was hungry from the errands we had to run before we came. I was planning on getting a pasta type thing. Chilis has always been a good restaurant whenever I went. So, I was expecting all good things like always when I go to Chilis. When we got there, as soon as we walked in someone greeted us with a smile. It got me in a good mood. I was expecting a good time from that. When the waiter sat us. The table was wobbly and sticky, and I thought that was gross. So, I was thinking, okay that's only one thing wrong. We ordered drinks and meals, but it felt like we didn't get our food for a good 40 minutes. My family and I were starting to get very impatient. I was so close to asking a waiter what was taking so long because I felt like they forgot about our orders. Right when I was about to our food came so everyone one was just happy to eat. Nothing was wrong with the food. I really enjoyed my shrimp pasta and my family looked like they enjoyed their meals too. The food met my expectations. When we finished we wanted to pay from this little device on the table, but it didn't have its battery in. I was thinking, what kind of place uses electronic paying and it doesn't work. So that was another 20 minutes down the drain. So that just capped it off for me and the Chilis in Midvale, UT. I have never been to that one and I won't be wanting to go back to that one. At the end of all this, I think I just came at the wrong time. If someone else is paying for me then I'll give it another go. I would have to give Chilis two stars for my visit. I came to this Chilis tonight with my wife and our 2 year old son. For the record Chilis is not the place I like to eat, whenever it's brought up I always suggest surrounding places. This all changed tonight. There was a wait unless we wanted to sit in the bar area and with a 2 year old it's eat quick and get out (parents will understand). We were seated and our server took our appetizer order and got us drinks. He brought my son a drink half full of water and a lid, which he said "something for the little guy" that move alone let me know we were in good hands. Once you put a drink in front of a toddler and he sees it there is no taking it back, it being half full was great because half goes on the table. He saw my son was starting to scream and I pulled out my phone for him to play a game, the server asked me if I wanted him to play a game on the new payment screen on each table and I was shocked it had games on it (was a buck) but it was the first time we were able to order food and eat our entire meal for only a buck lol. I went for the steak fajitas Cadillac style and I was blown away by the taste. I was literally in shock with this visit to Chilis. The service was remarkable and the food was better than I've ever had at Chilis. I will defiantly be returning and sitting in Dominic's section. Also I don't know if they trained the staff to deal with children, but that really means a lot. The food runners even kept the plates out of reach, which seems like common sense but you'd be surprised at servers sometimes putting hot dishes and glass right in front of children. read more

First time and last time ever going to this location. The service was horrible! No wait line to get seated at all but it took the staff 10 minutes to finally come greet us even though they would look at us and walk away. Once we were seated the waitress took our drink orders and then proceeded to take 20 minutes to finish bringing all the drinks, keep in mind the location was not busy at all. Waitress conveniently blamed it on the bartender yet the bartender got me a drink the moment I asked for it....ordered our appetizer and it came out 10 minutes later, the dinner arrived shortly afterwards so the appetizer was a waste basically because I didn't want my dinner to get any colder than it was. The meat that was used to make my burger tasted like it was bad so I didn't eat it, the waitress didn't offer to let the kitchen staff know or let a manager know. At the end of the evening someone walked in with their puppy (while I do love dogs some people are allergic to them like my girlfriend and her mother which were both with me) all the servers and kitchen staff proceeded to walk out and pet the dog and go back to work...without washing their hands. We notified a few people that the dog shouldn't be in there to which we were told that it was a "service dog" to which I know not to be true for the simple fact that if it were a service animal the handler would not allow people to pet it or play with it due to it being at work. The manager took forever to actually come talk to us which all she said was that she would talk to the people. The whole experience was definitely not worth the price or quality of food served as well as service. I hope the owners realize what kind of a shit hole they own due to the assholes of a staff that are employed there. Don't worry we got pics of everyone petting the dog inside the restaurant. This location is consistent with the others as far as service and atmosphere ago. They're taking part in a fundraiser for a local man that lost his life by donating 15% of the revenue for today to his estate. Chili's is our go to spot, my mom lives in the area so we stopped by because we were starving. The food was fine as usual. (Well except the onion rings they were super soggy and oily) Our server was great. BUT the hostess was a real jerk. I don't know his name but we went in on Halloween night around 5:30 and we walked in, and he was standing at the little station playing around on his phone, he literally didn't even look up at us. 2 minutes later he finally acknowledged us and told us we could wait or sit where ever we want in the bar area (we chose the bar area) ...which leads me to my second issue.. it was soo dirty, the table, the glass divider, the menus, the seats, and the tablet...those were all sticky and Dusty and disgusting. It was the kind of built up over time dirty, not the oh I'm sorry it's been a busy day kind of dirty. I also saw a couple fruit flies by the bar...which made me lose my appetite so got a doogy bag and fed my dogs the rest of my food. I won't be back to this location. Oh and by the way when we were leaving the jerk hostess and a waitress must have been having a great conversation because they didn't even look up at us when I said "thank you have a great day" ugh. Our favorite restaurant is always close by, whenever we're hungry and want to give our taste buds a treat! We love to take friends with us because we always have such a fun time with great service and fabulous food. As soon as you walk into Chili's you feel like you're joining the party and greeting old friends. We especially enjoy the "Two for $20 Menu" -- I love the Quesadilla Explosion Salad and my husband always gets the ribs, then we share! It's a terrific value and always such a nice, friendly atmosphere! read more
