To start we were promptly seated albeit during lunch hour. We were acknowledged quickly and our server timed visits in a smart way. Chips and salsa was a good way to start. The strawberry lemonade was worth ordering as it was refreshing and tasty. My order was picture worthy and I made one side the black beans as I was told that it was really good. However, the black beans were not a hit for me. I requested light on bell peppers but after the meal came was told it could not be customized. My wife and I haven't been to Chili's in years as we now prefer trying different local spots, but we are so happy we did. The food, service and vibe were on point and we left so happy. My son just went to this restaurant since he staying in the hotel next door, he called me to see if I could write a review about his server since he knows I will always leave a Good or Bad Review when I try a new place. He had the Chicken Tenders which he said were pretty good and it was twofers on his favorite beer so it was a win-win for him but he wanted me to write about server Kevin. He said Kevin was not only personable but he was the only server in the restaurant yet he handled it like a champ. He said you can tell he was busting his butt yet he kept a smile on his face and was still making conversation with all the patrons. First let me say that I am a local here in Ft. Walton Beach. I actually live in the neighborhood across the street from Chili's and KFC, Northgate Estates. On December 3, 2023, I placed an order for delivery that included 1 bacon cheeseburger, 1 bowl of chili, 4 ears of street corn, 1 bowl of white queso and an order of chips n salsa. The order total with tax, tip and a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital came to $64.00. The order arrived within the allotted time. When we unpacked our dinner, we noticed some issues... 1. NO CHILI 2. COLD CHEESEBURGER 3. COLD QUESO I called and spoke to the manager about these items. After some discussion, he said they would credit me back for the dinner. I waited for 5 business days and still nothing. I called them back and the manager apologized and said he didn't understand why it still wasn't credited. He then stated he would see about getting it was credited back. Today is 2 weeks, 12-15-2023 & NOTHING!!! This Chili's is decent, though there are better ones elsewhere and I'd stop into Friday's before this one again. The chicken fajitas were alright, but not very flavorful. The fries were not good, the onion blossoms were worse, and the ribs were fine--nothing special. The waitress was nice but generally inattentive, she never refilled our drinks. We had to get our own ketchup, napkins, and ask for new drinks since they gave us unsweetened flavored teas. The food was merely okay, with the exception of the street corn, which was phenomenal, and the molten lava cake, which the chocolate hater liked a lot. Overall, there are better places in Ft Walton to go. Or you could just come for the margaritas and street corn, that's a perfectly valid option for this place. read more

We went on a Sunday evening and it was not very crowded. The hostess sat us at a table in the bar area. We sat there for about ten minutes before we were greeted by a less than attentive server who turned out to also be the bar tender. The bar was pretty empty; one table and four people at the bar. She took our drink orders and ran off before we could order appetizers. Someone dropped off water and after about ten more minutes, she came back with our margaritas. We placed our food order, including our order for chips and salsa. A server (not the bartender) brought our appetizer platter (not the chips and salsa). I had to grab flatware and napkins myself because no one brought them. The bartender came by and I asked about the chips and salsa. She said she forgot to order them. Okay. She came back again after our food came and I had to ask about the chips and salsa again. A server (not the bartender) finally brought them. After we got dessert, we sat around for about ten more minutes waiting for her to bring the bill. By this time the bar was empty and there were two other tables. She stopped by another table and I could overhear her complaining about something to the couple. When she came by I found out what she was complaining about. Apparently the food runner was expecting to receive some of her tip money (standard restaurant practice) but she didn't think she should have to.
