Applebees and a lot of the other chain's aren't really our jam most of the time but when you want quick and don't like fast food they're excellent. This location has ectremely good service and we go usually for the appetizers. And this vacation has gone quite well for us everywhere we've gone as we've had excellent service everywhere. Server great, food ok, value so-so. Reservation for party of 12 but when arrived they said we can't put u all together since it would be a fire code with three tables together. Tried to split us up so we just crunched two extra chairs in the 2 6-foot tables. They shoulda been able to figure that out or tell us on phone they can't do parties over 10 ppl. Chips were too salty, we didn't finish 1 basket. Enchilada soup is good but also salty. Few side salads were skimpy. The nachos were a little overcooked. The fajitas were good as usual. The veggie burger was just OK, my wife couldn't finish it. Finally, the skillet cookie could be cooked longer... The center was unbaked. The best part was the server she was good and ran a ton for us. The decor was nice since this is a brand new location and the bathrooms were super clean. First off the smell in the parking lot was amazing. We walk into a clean restaurant and it smells just as good if not better than parking lot. The restaurant was clean and a pleasant atmosphere. Our server was also amazing did a great job and was smiling the whole time. What a difference it makes when you get good service. Our food came out in a timely manor and it was all hot fresh and delicious but I was too hungry to remember to take pictures. I had the bacon burger and fries and my wife had the crispers and fries. Both were awesome and we had nothing to complain about thru out the entire meal. Even the bathrooms were clean! I will give ten starts if I could thank you for a great meal!!! read more

I stopped in for lunch with a few friends on a weekday and tried their $10 lunch combo. I am a vegetarian and there weren't any veggie options for the lunch combos, but I had the chicken bowl without chicken. I asked if maybe they could substitute black beans or a veggie burger, but they did not do that. I also had the house salad as my other part of the pick two. The food came up pretty quickly. I enjoyed my meal--the bowl was really good, even without any protein. When we got the bill, two people in our party were charged $24 for the lunch combo instead of $10 (on the bill both items rang up individually). The server seemed confused when we brought it to her attention and didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, I enjoyed my meal but it was nothing special and I don't think I would want to go back with their lack of vegetarian options. read more

Outside of the sticky menus, this was a pretty darn good place. I love Tex Max food, but I ended up getting the chicken tenders with fries, and got the honey mustard and bbq sauce as sides, since it was late and wanted something not too filling. The caesar salad was just the right size and good as well.. While I would've preferred to have more time to eat it before my food got served, it was not a deterrent to the overall meal. Hopefully I can try the steak fajitas next time. The server was great too and really good about making sure we were satisfied with everything. I debated giving a 4 or 5, but I think I'll go with a 5 because really nothing was wrong with the experience and I enjoyed my meal. Can't wait to come back again soon! read more

Ordered via door dash. The Fajita Trio was awesome. I think it was better than eating it in the restaurant. I love the condiment container. The chicken quesadilla, on the other hand, was mediocre. We ordered full slab ribs. Half order was what we got and one side missing. We have the receipt and the manager told us he would "call us back " to verify. Never happened. We had to call AGAIN! We spent close to $100 . On top of everything else they applied a $16 dollar tip to the bill, when we drove there, Walked inside to get our food. Not once, but twice!! Food was awful. Service was worse. I had ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich. It had fat in it and was rubbery. Waitress whizzed by to ask if everything ok. Told her no. Chicken was awful. Grabbed my plate as she walked away. She asked if I wanted another one as she was moving on. No thank you. The manager came over told her the issue. She said that is how chicken is. You get fat in it. Hmm. She asks me if I want another one. Nope. They took it off the bill. My friend got a burger. She had to walk her cash over to the waitress. The waitress was not nice at all. She was tipped against my better judgment but the only reason was because the food was not her fault. She by no means did a good job. She seermed put off from the beginning. She was not nice about any of this. Her people skills were as good as her manager's. Very disappointed that this new restaurant is not welcoming. We were told when we arrived that there would be a 15-20 minute wait, which was perfectly reasonable for a weekend evening. We gave the host our name and phone number and went outside with our two young children to wait. While we waited, an employee emerged onto the sidewalk, swearing angrily, followed by her manager who attempted to calm her down. After 25-30 minutes, another server came outside, approached us, and asked if we were waiting for a table. When we confirmed that we were, she informed us that there was no point in our waiting any longer because they were out of basically everything, the host was "off somewhere having a mental breakdown," and the manager had left the premises to buy more food. While we were glad she told us, and we understand that things happen, we would have appreciated it if, once they knew they wouldn't be able to seat any more diners, they actually notified the waiting customers (in some more efficient way than a random employee happening to notice us waiting outside). Much as we enjoy eating at most Chili's locations, we won't be returning to this one. read more

We tried this place today and it was TERRIBLE. We were excited because it's a new store and figured it couldn't have been bad. Wrong. This place is super small and well staffed. I mean I saw people just walking in circles and not helping anyone, even acting bored. However, we still waited to get a waiter for 15+ mins. Our waiter didn't bring out our food and never checked on us once. Never brought a check over, nothing. We needed water and napkins so badly, but had no one to ask. It was disgusting that we had to use the same one napkin (just put a dispenser at the tables if you are only providing one disposal napkin ???). Do not recommend this place at all. Our server Matt was wonderful. On top of everything and was very polite. Food came out quickly but was wrong. My daughters steak had no pink (it was supposed to be medium) and my sons burger also had no pink. They ate them anyways because they were starving. My husbands food came out wrong twice. The manger on duty did make up for it and went above by taking it off the bill, giving us the dish to go and giving us coupons for our next visit. We are excited to have a Chili's closer and we will give it another try. They have just opened so it's understandable for these little hiccups. read more

Awful! On Memorial Day, I took my extended family (3 adults and one teen) to the Avon restaurant for lunch. We were seated promptly, but, 15 minutes passed before any waitstaff even approached the table for a drink order -- two iced teas and two waters, chips/salsa and guac. We also ordered standard lunch fare, nothing special, off the menu. Ten minutes later, the chips and water were delivered. Ten minutes more, the tea came, only after I reminded the waiter. After yet another reminder, the guac arrived -- with a bowl seated on a used napkin with someone's order written on it (not ours!) A full 40 minutes later, the food still had not arrived, so, we cancelled the order, and left. The usual explanations ("we're short-handed") were offered, and they gave a trivial gift card to apologize. We're not going back. Management: if you're not really open for business, say so, and keep the doors closed -- and fade into oblivion like so many other restaurants. read more
