Another international McDonald's checked off my list! We ordered from Ubereats twice here: one for…read morebreakfast and one for the regular menu. The breakfast was a bit of a miss while the lunch was definitely a hit. I didn't care too much for any of the scrambles and breakfast platters at all. It was mushy and plain even with the salsa and catsup. On the other hand, the specialty burgers were pretty good, especially the Deluxe CBO and Pollo Tocino Crispy. We also tried a Mexican Caramel Frap, which was overly sweet. If there's anything I'd say you must try at McDonald's in Mexico, it's the McPatatas con Queso and Pay de Queso. Do you see the pattern of how obsessed I am about cheese? The mcpatatas are pretty typical potato wedges with a nacho cheese sauce that was simple, yet delicious. But it was the pay de queso or cheese pie that I was absolutely in love with. The pie crust was super crispy while filled with gooey cheese that was on the savory side. I could eat one of these every single day for the rest of my life --dead serious. BEST MCDONALD'S PIE I HAVE HAD! (even better than the taro pie in Hawaii and that was unbelievably amazing too).

We stopped in here for a late night treat and decided to order inside instead of at the ice cream…read morewindow. Unfortunately we had some difficulty placing our order on their kiosks because the first 2 had orders on them and we couldn't cancel them or get back to the screen to place our own order. But third time was the charm--we finally got the third kiosk to work, places our orders and it didn't take terribly long to get our treats. My husband had a chocolate sundae and my daughter and I split an M&M McFlurry. They hit the spot! The place was bright and clean, and full of patrons. If there weren't so many other places to try, we would go back!

Taquería Orinoco was easily one of the best meals we had during our trip, right up there with Tacos…read moreDel Valle. We definitely overordered, but it worked out because we wanted to try a little bit of everything on the menu. The tacos were excellent, and I also ordered a couple of the larger specialty tacos. I think one of them was called the "Pirata," but honestly, everything we tried was delicious. They came with these small smashed potatoes on the side, which ended up being one of the unexpected highlights. I cut mine up and added them to the tacos--and even to the beans--and they made everything even better. The tray of salsas they bring to the table was another major highlight. All of them were good, but the white salsa and the chimichurri were my favorites. They added a lot of flavor without overpowering the tacos. I also ordered a side of beans for the table, thinking they would just be something extra to share. Surprisingly, they ended up being one of the biggest hits of the meal. They were rich, flavorful, and so good with the tacos and potatoes. There was a line when we arrived, but it moved along and was absolutely worth the wait. I would definitely recommend Taquería Orinoco to anyone in the area. Come hungry, order more than you think you need, and make sure to try the salsas, potatoes, There is an upstairs seating area that allows for great people watching. The place is big and bright

Everyone wants to be here, there is a never ending rush, and visually pleasing red and white atmosphere and decor. This is what a CDMX taqueria should feel like. Plus everyone was so cordial. The food was pretty good, but nothing life changing. The menu is a little unfamiliar for Americans used to dining at a taqueria in the states. But whatever you order, it will be good. Great selection of salsas.
