Strawberry, Banana Nutella Crepe

First off....WOW THIS IS AMAZING. This is a small business that is family run, by the sweetest family ever. The menu prices are extremely fair for all items. The portion sizes are amazing as well. The service was top notch and could not be beat! For only opening up two weeks ago this is the BEST place around and I will be back there is no question about that! If you are looking for some homemade food, with the reassurance of family values you have it here! Go try it for yourself!

The food is overpriced. The dessert was spicy hot. I couldn't eat it. They do not have a license to serve alcohol beverages.

I ate here for Mother's Day with my family and it was lovely. Clean, great service, and noticeably fresh food.

The menu was more than I needed, so I asked the girl behind the counter. She said "the The 51st NY is like an Italian." I bought it. I ate it. Best sandwich I've ever eaten - period - and I've eaten plenty while on planet earth. Fresh bread, plenty of meat, a nice dose of oregano, and a nice amount of mayonnaise ...I'd like to eat another right now.

Their menu was quite large, with hot dogs, cold subs, hot sandwiches, and paninis listed. They also feature a couple soups daily. When we went, they had a loaded baked potato soup and a lobster bisque. The young girl working the front was very happy and helpful and gave some good suggestions too. The place is quaint, with several tables and lots of historic signs on the walls. We started with their baked potato soup - The overall flavor was nice. But the potatoes in it were rubbery, like they used the wrong type of potato or maybe over-cooked it. Also, the soup was just warm, far from being served hot. Next up were the sandwiches - I chose the BBQ chicken sandwich, which had thinly sliced chicken breast on it, along with BBQ sauce, mayo, and onions. The sandwich was pressed, like a panini and was pretty good. I liked the smokiness of the BBQ sauce. I also got a bottle of their homemade root beer and it was pretty good. They serve Route 11 potato chips, which are my favs! So, I had to pick up a bag of Mama Zuma for later - those things are spicey, hot, and tasty! Overall, it's a nice spot, I can see them being a popular lunch spot downtown.

The surrounding area has plenty of Mexican restaurants but this Honduran restaurant brings Central American flavor to the table (pun intended!). The menu is pretty extensive and they serve pretty much all the traditional dishes from breakfast to dinner (they're open 6AM to 9PM). Some dishes are only available certain days of the week, so be sure to ask if your pick is available when you visit. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and brought menus right away. Mr. Marvin, who is the owner's husband, took our drink order and even brought us a little appetizer on the house (tostones with pico de gallo). As an appetizer, we had "pastelitos," which are akin to beef empanadas. Pastelitos (3x order) are deep fried and filled with diced potato and ground beef. They are served with slaw and a side of salsa. Delicious. For our entrees we had the Bandeja Paisa (a platter of various Colombian dishes including chicharrón (pork rind/crackling), chorizo, rice, beans, avocado, and plantain. This is the way to go if you're hungry. We also had the enchiladas (2x order), which are essentially a fried tortilla with ground beef topped with slaw, a tomato slice, hard boiled egg, and grated cheese. They are large, so two enchiladas is plenty. Very authentic and with plenty of flavor. So good! The restaurant offers fresh natural juices and soft drinks. They also have a number of Honduran desserts (check out the "Others" part of the menu) and, on the other side of the restaurant, they also sells smoothies, crepes, waffles, and snack food (sisters business called Chile Mango). The restaurant's ambiance is very lively, staff is friendly and attentive, and food came out quickly. We can't wait to return for breakfast and definitely plan on being regulars!!

Read on about their weekly bacon special! If you are anywhere near by even passing close while traveling up and down 95, take a detour! You won't regret it! It's like a super sized Cracker Barrel gift shop, ice cream shop, coffee shop, butcher, bakery, and restaurant all in one! HUGE selection of snacks, sweets, fresh baked items, canned goods, take and bake items, and knick nacks. Their hot food menu changes often so check out their social media for this weeks selections. I haven't had a bad plate yet! Their biscuits and gravy are to die for! Coffee beans are roasted in house! You can buy beans to go. They make all the coffee house drinks to order. One of my favs is their dirty matcha latte! Amazing! $2 Tuesdays at the ice cream counter will get you two GINOURMOUS scoops of their in house made ice cream. Their sundaes are enough to feed a table of folks. The soft serve is legit my favorite of any I've ever tasted! Fresh meat available as well as deli cheese and meat. Stop by early on Saturdays for their Kunzer bacon special. Usually around $45 for a 10 POUND slab! They have in house bacon available now too! Stop in, you won't be disappointed! Despite attempts to use salsa, cholula, anything, the queso was disgustingly overpowering, being the equivalent of blended cottage cheese on top of a blisteringly hot skillet, which is a hazard, because they seal the skillets off in plastic containers before serving, which is crazy hot when trying to carry to a table. $15 for each of these disgusting skillets, which we could not even finish half of. When I offered feedback, the worker was rude and stated "well, we've been doing it for 4 years this way and you're the first person to say anything", as if that makes a difference - today, it was not the move (it's an American skillet with nothing Mexican about it, just use cheddar or something, it's not even Tex-Mex). The coffee is OK, nothing special, only the wait times are extraordinarily long for what makes Starbucks look like a 5 star-enterprise. Ambiance is charming; definitely stayed for the Jesus Christ-themed coffee, which is definitely a choice to say the least...
