Ms. Mona and Ms. Cissy in the Infant class provided such loving and attentive care. In the Toddler class, Ms. Gabby and Ms. Grace were amazing in supporting her talking and communication development. Now in Pre-Primary, Ms. Saba has done a great job helping her transition smoothly into the new classroom while continuing to care for her so well. Thank you to all the teachers and staff for creating such a warm, supportive, and nurturing environment. We truly appreciate everything you do!

My youngest has had Ms. Gabby and Ms. Destinee - both wonderful teachers who genuinely love children. You can see the warmth radiate out of them. Their high energy paired with their patience and ability to teach young kids amaze me daily. My oldest recently came out of Ms. Peace (who is incredible!!) and is now in Ms. Lavanya's class, the care that both teachers provide my son have been immeasurable. Not only do they provide a safe space for all the kids, they take the time out to learn about each student. All while providing follows up to how my son is doing and informing me of his advancements. I know my kids are in good hands at MRA. Their curriculum is beyond what I could have imagined. They truly follow the Montessori and STEAM way.

We were worried and didn't know where to turn. From day one, Ms. Jessi and the entire staff were incredible. They worked patiently with him while also equipping us with valuable resources and guidance to support him at home. I especially appreciate that The Mays School brings excellent therapists directly onto campus, so my son received consistent help without the stress of driving to multiple appointments. Ms. Jessi's deep knowledge of neurodiversity has been invaluable. She not only helped my son thrive during his time at The Mays School, but also guided us in finding the right next school to continue his growth. Because of the care, patience, and expertise of The Mays School, my son has made tremendous progress both socially and emotionally. We are deeply grateful for this school and its dedicated staff who have made such a meaningful difference in his life.

The owner is currently doing so to silence me at this very moment. That's why they have nothing but 5 stars. In my opinion, the owner is unstable and encourages a cult like toxic environment. What they don't want you to know is the school is not accredited and is not Montessori. They are not associated with Montessori in any shape or form. They claim to be inspired by Montessori. In my opinion, not a lot of learning happens here, let alone Montessori inspired teaching. To give you an example, my daughter was writing letters in sand at an age where she should have started learning phonetics and started reading. Once I figured out that she wasn't learning anything I quickly started looking for a new preschool. In the meantime my daughter was being spit on daily by another child. I addressed this with the teacher many times with no avail. I told the mother of the child and because of that my child was expelled. Yes, that was my offense. In the time it took me to go get my child (this was the middle of the day when they expelled my 4 year old) they treated her so horrifically that she developed panic attacks. It took months for her to recover mentally. I know of other people who have had similar experiences. The cult like environment is so intense that they bully anyone who leaves the school or writes anything negative about this school. I would not recommend anyone to attend this school.

This is a child led program and my daughter is blooming learning so much, right now she's very focused on sewing ! She designed her first dress this spring and loves cooking and learning with her peers in an intimate class setting. I really appreciate the teachers participation in her enrichment and I'm so glad my daughter is open to being taught by them. We are so fortune to have found this gem in Houston! Their approach is play and nature based with emphasis on the Reggio Emilia approach to learning. My child comes home each day happy and with stories to tell! He comes home with evidence of a day well-spent in PLAY and FUN! He has grown so much since attending this school. When he began at Blossom Heights he was barely talking- he now speaks in full lengthy sentences with vocabulary that amazes me. He can problem solve and make plans for what he wants to achieve. Emotionally, he is more pulled together than I am! All of his emotional, social, and academic needs are met! His teachers LOVE him and SHOW him love consistently throughout each day. Pictures are worth a thousand words, as his teachers will frequently document his adventures and send daily photos through their Bright Wheel app for parents. Teachers take part in multiple professional development trainings and quality improvement programs throughout the year to ensure children are receiving the BEST care possible. We love Blossom Heights and know that you will to!

We just moved to sugar land (Riverstone) and had the…read moredaunting task of having to choose a preschool (daunting because sugar land has so many great options). Despite it being new and unproven, we ultimately went with kiddie academy for a few reasons. First and foremost, the director Sarah is amazing. She has a strong vision for the school and is a perfectionist. So even though this is a franchise of a chain, I really felt like Sarah was going to put her stamp on it - everything from quality teacher recruitment and training to the school's chef/healthy menu to the curriculum adaptations. She has many years of early childhood education experience, great connections, and is ambitious. The leader of a school is paramount (and I found some questionable and disorganized leadership at the other schools I researched and visited). Sarah is sharp, responsive and easy to communicate with. The staff and students love her. The other big reason we went with this school (and believe me we researched about a dozen, from Montessori to Reggio Emilia) is because the facilities are fantastic. Big, beautiful, naturally sunlit classrooms with just enough brand new toys and supplies and books (without feeling cluttered or overwhelming). The outdoor play area is awesome, and they have future plans for a splash pad and soccer field. There's also enough room indoors for physical play when it's too hot or rainy to go outside. And the security system is top notch. I love the flexibility that this school gives parents - they offer infant education through pre-K (so our soon to be born daughter can join her big bro at the same school). Their extended hours are the default (6:30-6:30) though you can opt for fewer than 5 days/week if you prefer. They take very few holidays - which is key for working parents. And they use the latest technology (apps and live streaming TV) to keep parents in the know all day/week long. I love being able to see how my son is behaving, adjusting, eating, napping, playing, etc. The only big question mark I had was about really small classrooms (since the school is still new, opened early 2018) and an undeveloped community of parents, teachers, etc. I think that still remains to be seen, but my very social son has been very happy in his first week there. And I've loved my conversations with the teachers. They are warm, helpful and supportive. When I picked my son up yesterday he didn't want to leave. Excited to help this school develop and establish a strong presence in the sugar land area. Message me if you want to know more.
