For six years our children have attended Jolly Tots Little School. When seeking a childcare…read morefacility we had a strong desire to find a place that focused on the development of social skills such as kindness, sharing, and personal boundaries. We desired outdoor play and the core values that shape a child's personality as the root of a school's structure. We knew that national facilities have high employment and enrollment turnover as well as canned academic curriculums that force certain skills before children are ready. Many of us who enroll our children at Jolly Tots are educators, and we see the importance of a balanced approach of social and academic development and the need for these to be age appropriate. Jolly Tots is just that!! Our children view Jolly Tots' teachers and schoolmates as family. When it's weather appropriate, the teachers highly value outdoor activities. They encourage kids being KIDS!!! They also set time aside each morning for class through fun and creative lessons. Because Jolly Tots does not deliver a rigid curriculum like the national centers, teachers are able to be flexible and implement new ideas at any time. They differentiate to meet the needs of their students because they can. My daughter, who has always been an eager learner, could read before kindergarten. Our four year old son, who does not share the same interests, prefers to keep "school" at school and we follow his lead. Sure enough out-of-the-blue this past spring he decided to show us he could write his name!!! This is something we never worked on at home with him and he was so proud to show us this achievement. If you want your child to receive age-appropriate academic lessons, develop social skills through play (especially outdoor when possible), and feel as though they are visiting family during their time there, then Jolly Tots is for you. Our children have thrived because of the teachers at Jolly Tots Little School and have made a life-long impact on who they are socially and academically. We feel incredibly fortunate!

If you are looking for something structured that really focuses on education, creativity and personal attention this is not it. The price is extremely low which was nice but the quality of service definitely suffered due to this. I did voice opinion and felt like I was listened to w hen I did so. At this point it was too late for my daughter to continue in the environment but I hope they do change things based on my feedback. My daughter was in the little school. the big school looks much calmer and looks more like a decent place for a child. Most teacher at the little school did not impress me or seem like they enjoyed their job. ( I saw most becuase a few were good with my daughter) But as far as school goes, "just OK or sufficient" is not anywhere good enough

I met with Fran the owner and Megan the director and they were nothing but friendly and helpful. They also hired several teachers and staff from our previous daycare so I felt even more comfortable with the change. I felt like they were the best staff too. I was thrilled to be apart of the Goddard community and proud to say my daughter went there. They are like a second family to us. We have been with Goddard for almost 3 years now and I can see the difference from the previous daycare she was at. She has grown so much and her current teacher Ms Kylie has helped her jump leaps and bounds in her reading. My daughter enjoys practicing what she has learned at home and can read and do math! I am always surprised with how much ch she has grown here and I am confident that she is more than prepared for first grade. I am so glad to send our second child here this year and know she will be in a great and safe school with a family that will love and care for her as much as we do. Thanks Goddard!

The owner (Fran) never admits fault, she's very nonchalant about complaints and is very dismissive. She doesn't even get back to you when you make a complaint. How rude! We get that she accepts welfare at the school but that doesn't mean everyone has to be treated like they are on welfare. Welfare or not, she should treat all families the same. The rest of administration is very apologetic and try to work with you to resolve issues. Whether or not they follow through, at least they attempt to give parents that reassurance. Fran is a completely different individual and seems to be about the money. The Infant classroom is great, love the teachers. Everything after that goes downhill!

This year, however, we have had nothing but problems. From favoritism, to lack of supervision to policies not being enforced. Something has changed drastically and it is such a shame. We had a meeting with the director months ago and brought our concerns to their attention, and thought things would change. We were mistaken.
