Before transferring to Child Time from another Learning Care Group facility, I would call Child Time and ask questions that my current facility couldn't answer. Both Sue and Christine were incredibly open, welcoming, and patient in taking the time to answer my questions and address my concerns. Their warmth and genuine care gave me confidence that this was the right place for our family. I am so happy we made the decision to transfer! A special thank you to Sue and Christine for making the enrollment process such a positive experience and for always being approachable, supportive, and caring. Your kindness and dedication do not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate everything you do for the children and families in your care. I highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a supportive and caring place for their child!

Since our daughter started here, we have always felt overjoyed with the amount of care, encouragement and support the entire staff has given our family. Our daughter is happy and thriving from her time spent with Ms. Julia, ms. Sue and ms Christine, although every single staff member has been instrumental in guiding our girl. Although we are sad that her time at this Childtime is coming to an end (she is starting kindergarten) we're so thankful for everything this facility has done for her. Simply incredible humans that deserve and have earned our upmost respect. Thank you will never be enough.

The director at the time was very nice and polite to us and I will forever be grateful for accepting us into the program especially during the aftermath of COVID. There was ABSOLUTELY no daycare availability and my husband and I were just so grateful to find a spot for our child! Within a month we could start to notice some of the employees were a little sketchy to say the least and there were also some inconsistencies: No lead teacher... different person all the time Delayed communication through the app Had to remind the director about our military discount every week Yup, I was on the cusp of quitting my job to stay home, when ... Ahhhhhhhhhh (angelic music) a beautiful figure appeared in the door LOLL! Ms. Nikki Newsome walked through the door! Not sure what happened but the old director was never seen again. Then so many things changed! Our child had a consistent lead teacher (woo hoo go Ms. Amber:) A new daycare app was set in place and communication was amazing No discrepancies in our bill an awesome learning curriculum every week, our daughter started achieving more and more milestones Her social skills went from high anxiety to not even noticing when I was walking out the door at drop (Hallelujah!)... I could go on with so many great things. Yes, this was a long review but I do not have a million dollars to give Ms. Nikkie for the peace of mind she has brought us as parents. So the best I can do is take the time to say "Thank You Ms. Nikki for being an AWESOME director!" on a platform with hope that she could be recognized for making this school amazing!.

My 1st impression is that the facility is clean and the safety and security of the children are their priority. They provide all meals to ensure safety from allergies. No outside food allowed. Please speak with the staff if your child has special dietary requirements. The staff is professional. They greet you and speak professionally. I don't like to use the word friendly because this is a business and not my friend so kudos to them for maintaining professionalism. They follow the guidelines and don't deviate from them. That is the professionalism that will keep my (g)daughter safe. It's too soon to say how they treat the children in which I expect them to be friendly, kind, and empathetic. However, children are good judges of character, so I am sure if they don't like something they will say something The diversity in the children is here. They respect cultural values, so if you have any concerns let them know. First impressions great place to bring your children.

There are a lot of people who work at this place who are rude to the children. The teacher in the 1 year old classroom is very rough at times with the toddlers. I think it's because they do the same general thing week-to-week and there isn't a sense of goals or progress over time. I am also not a fan of their membership model. It's basically $100 a month and it just goes on infinitely until you choose to stop. I would prefer it to be structured more around "seasons" with a culminating show so the kids could feel a sense of growth, progress and pride. All in all - We enjoyed our time but will be looking for other gymnastics options in the future with a different class model oriented more towards growth.

I had the pleasure of working here for 4 1/2 years and could honestly say that this place is pretty top notch between the curriculum and activities that they provide. This location is in Hanover County right behind SJMS and Sherwood Apartments. The Goddard school provides child care and after school programs. Summer Camp is always fun here and your kids will learn a lot. They cater to the needs of all children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. The staff is always friendly and the owners Kathy and Steve DeNunzio will make you feel welcomed along with the wonderful teachers. I love that being an employee here meant being apart of such a great childcare facility and growing along with the school. The first building is for ages 6 weeks to pre-k and the back building (Kabanda) was for kindergarten as well as after school. There are two playgrounds one for the 2's and under and one for the big kids. Yes, it is on the pricey end of things, but quality is always a good thing. Id recommend checking out The Goddard School if you're interested in childcare.

My two elementary age children went to Tuckaway Ellwood House for 3 weeks this past summer. The teacher was friendly but the front desk is horrendous. I gave them my credit card number to charge for payment. Apparently the either lost it or failed to charge it, but they never sent me an invoice or communicated that they needed payment (not by phone, email, or mail). Then, less than 4 weeks after my daughters left, instead of sending us an invoice, they sent our bill to a debt collector and tacked on a $400 "legal fee"! Yes, I received a debt collection notice in the mail (again, having never received even ONE bill or invoice) with an additional $400 added on! Unprofessional and disgusting. Adding to this, the weeks leading up to and during our time at Ellwood, communication was terrible. Emails inquiring about forms, dates, etc. went unanswered 3/4 times.

We…read morechose Tuckaway on Ellwood because a few people suggested it to us, and they had a plenty of positive reviews at that point. We waited patiently until October 2018, but there were no notices about our enrollment though they said the wait list is about a year. I called them up, and they said that we can start in 2-3 weeks. The girl who runs the enrollment process, Mary, wasn't friendly at all. She didn't reply on my emails on time, and she gave me dirty looks when I asked too many questions in person. Really?‍ I was already disappointed, but I decided to give it a try. Sofia was 2 years and 6 months when we started day care. First, she liked it a lot, but in a couple of weeks her teacher left, and they were struggling to find someone new. Instead, they were changing care givers every day because they were just sending people from other groups to help. At this point, Sofia didn't want to go there anymore. She cried at home at night and in the morning because she didn't want to come back to her day care. She cried hysterically at the moment when we were saying goodbye there. What can I say? It was very hard for all of us, but their care givers didn't care much. They didn't try to calm her down or distract her attention. They just kept playing with other kids. Once, my husband went to drop her off, and Sofia cried so hard that she threw up there. Can you imagine that no one even came to him to help to clean up and calm her down until he asked for help ‍. We tried for a week with all this crying, and we stopped. I took her out of there. This was the worst experience ever. After this child care, she even stopped trusting her babysitter for a few weeks. Then, Sofia calmed down, and she happily stayed with babysitter like she did it before. Moreover, we looked into reviews for this Tuckaway child care, and we realized that all the recent positive reviews were left by the people who work there‼This is crazy . For now, since December, Sofia stays at home with me, and I can see the difference in her behavior. She is a happy little girl again. Isn't that the most important for every parent? We will try to put her in another day care in Fall 2019 when she will be 3.5, and I hope she will enjoy it.
