But they were very concerned and made sure the kids stayed wiped down and etc. He is now in the early toddler room and he has been talking and playing alot more! He has some rough patches like biting and hitting that came with that, but they warned us of these things beforehand. Boys will be boys I'm sure! I can't shout enough about the rates. I am very blessed to have given this place a try. The building isn't all shiny and new but I think that's what I like most. It's a charm and it has a diverse group of kids. We are midtowners so I want my kid to be exposed to all characters on Earth! Some people hate daycares, but this is probably one of the best things we could have done for our child to help his little brain development and help me from going crazy being at home with him 24/7.

Many schools and programs across the United States include "Montessori" in their name; however, the…read moregenuine Montessori philosophy/method is not a daily practice. It is not always interwoven throughout the child's day while at school. For Lamplighter Montessori School, the term "Montessori" most certainly applies in philosophy and in practice. Lamplighter provides a learning environment which is actually a learning community of staff members with diverse backgrounds and experiences as well as a diverse student population. The staff embraces each student as an individual and understands child development involves multi-intelligence parameters, not just a grade level. The leadership of Lamplighter is dynamic and continuously seeks avenues and ideas to improve the school and campus to excite teaching and facilitate learning involving the whole child. If you are looking for a learning environment during an age of creating test score learners that will encourage your child(ren) to become independent and explorative learners, consider contacting Lamplighter Montessori School. Our family continues to appreciate yearly school improvements and a dedication to our children as individuals as well as academic and life learners.

If I were to take her back I would definitely take her there.

It's hard in this day and age to put your trust in another person to care and love your child the way you do. But at KinderCare they all truly do, every teacher and staff member knows your child by name even if they aren't in their class, for me that was huge because they take the time to make as personal connection with every child. My son loves getting up and going to school and half the time doesn't want to leave when I pick him up! I highly recommend them to anyone who is torn and just wants a safe and loving place for their child to learn and grow! KinderCare is the place!
