Bright Horizons - Loveland, CO | A Truly Exceptional Childcare Experience…read more We cannot say enough great things about Bright Horizons in Loveland. This place has been a complete game changer for our family, and making the switch was truly the best decision we could have made for our son. We came from a very difficult and disappointing experience at Kiddie Academy in Windsor. While it looked great on paper, it turned out to be the wrong fit for our child in every way. From day one at Bright Horizons, the difference was undeniable--our son started thriving immediately. His speech exploded, his confidence grew, and for the first time, he started making real friendships. It was everything we hoped for and more. Most importantly, our son felt safe, seen and heard. The staff at Bright Horizons has been nothing short of a blessing. They are educated, patient, nurturing, and deeply committed to supporting children with all kinds of needs. The level of care, empathy, and professionalism is unmatched. His teacher is truly an angel--compassionate, experienced, and so tuned into his needs The ancillary staff who also work in the classrooms and alongside our son are exceptional--trained, truly kind, and incredibly patient The director, Kelly Polite, is warm, approachable, and incredibly professional The assistant director, Jodie Nye, is wonderful--truly kind, responsive, and supportive The entire team is well-trained, continues their ongoing education, and works on the child's level with genuine connection One of the most refreshing things about Bright Horizons is how they treat parents as partners, not as burdens. Communication is strong, open, and respectful. They involve parents every step of the way, making you feel reassured, supported, and heard--something we didn't experience elsewhere. The facility itself is fantastic: * ‍ Huge indoor gymnasium for active play, especially in bad weather * Multiple outdoor playgrounds * A bike area that kids absolutely love * A full-service kitchen providing fresh, nutritious meals * A brand-new infant room with thoughtful layout and care * A fun, engaging curriculum that fosters both play and learning * Regular events to welcome families and build community * Welcoming of outside therapists and additional supports * Ongoing teacher development and access to outside resources for staff The entire environment is clean, safe, well-organized, and full of joy. It's clear that this isn't just a daycare--it's a place that values growth, development, and the whole child, and one that puts family relationships at the heart of its mission. They currently have openings, and many employers--including those in healthcare and corporate sectors--offer Bright Horizons childcare discounts, so be sure to check with your HR department! Yes, no childcare facility, parent, or child is perfect. But finding the right fit where your child is safe, loved, and encouraged to grow is everything--and Bright Horizons has absolutely been that for us. We've looked into over 40 childcare centers across Northern Colorado, and this one stands out by far. It's truly one of a kind. There are also two additional Bright Horizons locations in Fort Collin that are wonderful. If you're even thinking about a new childcare option, book a tour. Meet the director. Talk to the teachers. Ask questions. Share your concerns. If you're feeling unsure or struggling at another center, it can't hurt to take a look--and it just might change everything for your child like it did for ours. We are so proud and grateful to be part of the Bright Horizons family.

It has since lost the CD's and is now dressed Hawaiian style. About a week ago I saw that Rivendell has signs up for a book sale. The prices looked very reasonable. About 50 cents to 2 dollars, depending upon what type of book. I went in and looked around the place. I was very impressed! The school is fairly small and the main room is covered in books. A very impressive library! I bought about four or five books all for a very good price and the ladies that were working there were all very nice and sweet. After going to the book sale I decided to investigate more about what Rivendell School was about. I saw that they have been around Fort Collins since 1976. They are a nonprofit, secular private school. They have a huge emphasis on respect. They teach children how to respect the teachers and each other no matter how different you may be. In other words they don't let the cliche's run wild like at regular public schools. Their curriculum is less 'goal oriented' meaning they don't primarily focus on test scores and make things so directional. If a child needs a little extra attention then they can get that extra attention because of the small class size. Wow! How I wish I could have gone to a school like Rivendell! I was not impressed or amused overall with my public school experience and think I would have done much better in a place like this. While I don't have children I would highly recommend this place to friends that have children that are about to start school. I think they could greatly benefit from it. I also will be keeping tabs on the school's events and would love to continue to support this place! There really, really needs to be more schools like this!

The low teacher/student ratio provides a wealth of time for individual instruction in literacy, math, foreign language, science, and social studies. Nurturing, kind, loving staff with excellent ideas for their children to take off and blossom. Their staff loves what they do, they love the children, and they certainly teach respecting our earth and one another. If I lived in Colorado, I'd be clamoring for a position there. Luckily I can visit from time to time and know my precious grandson enjoys his weekdays there, encouraged every day to be as fully HIM as he can be. That's just how BellaVita runs. Any child lucky enough to be a part of this organization is reaping the benefits of their lucky stars.

This school, and it's teachers are, without a doubt, the cream of the crop. My son is 3 1/2 and I couldn't ask for a more amazing place for him to be when he isn't with us. I checked out every preschool imaginable and there is no other place like The Bella Vita School. The children are cherished and treated like the very special individuals that they are. They get to garden, help make meals, learn Spanish, dance, science and herbs, math, reading, art and music. There is a ton of outdoor time(great back yard space with wonderful play structures, slides etc..) and a low student-to-teacher ratio that is so very important to a healthy learning environment for academics, socialization and emotional growth. The curriculum is very special and beautiful and includes friendship studies, job days, journals, and emotion cards to name a few. The vegan snacks and meals that are provided are delicious and the healthiest you will find anywhere. They offer half day and full day programs, which are very flexible and an AMAZING summer camp as well!! We have loved spending time at the monthly family get-togethers and wonderful school events that are put on by the staff. All of the families who send their children there are very down to earth and a real pleasure to be around. Most important, my son is so happy to go to school and is always sad to leave! We can't recommend The Bella Vita School more!!

It was such a warm, inviting, FUN, environment for my child's first school experience. We stayed for two years and I was beyond bummed when we had to move because my younger one missed out. The school has all sorts of fun extras - a Mother's Tea, a school carnival, lots of fun stuff for the kiddos and the tuition cannot be beat. It is hands down the best preschool in the Fort in my opinion. And for those nonreligious parents - like my husband - while the school does teach about Jesus and celebrates Christian holidays - it does so in a way that emphasizes the positive character traits and not in any way in an exclusionary way that keep many people away from some schools of faith. My husband loved the school as well. I can't say enough good things about the staff, the director, and of course the teachers. Thanks for the fantastic start, Harmony!!!

My son wasn't speaking much before attending (19 mos), and within 1 month started adopting new vocabulary and doing some sign language. I asked them if they were bringing any solutions to the table, to which they said they would just watch and record their behavior. I gave them an entire list of things that work at home. Such as, addressing them with a calm tone, redirecting, giving them jobs, etc. They responded with "we can't do those because it doesn't fit our way we do things". I left with nothing accomplished and got an email 5 minutes later saying they were terminating care for my child, immediately. I'm so frustrated and sad that they didn't even want to try with them and it feels like they're saying they are more trouble than they're worth. I'm devastated that they didn't get to say goodbye to any teachers or friends and are now being completely uprooted, which might make behaviors worse. What do I tell my child when they ask why we can't go back? I still don't understand why on earth the school decide to terminate IMMEDIATELY on a Friday evening when schools are closed on the weekend. I feel like that is the ultimate show of disrespect to us. No wonder they have been on probation by the state. My child loved 3 of their teachers like family and I'm so crushed right now. They've been asking why they can't come back to see their friends and it is absolutely gut wrenching. I gave them many solutions and they ultimately told me they couldn't do their job properly. So, if your child has sensory issues and needs a little extra love, I would not recommend TLE. I just wish they would have just given them another shot and tried some of our solutions.
