This is such a cute resale shop for children's clothing. They have a whole wall of boys and girls clothing. The middle area in the back has bigger sizes. They had a cute section of swim suits too. They had tons of toys in the back as well. We saw some really cheap infant carriers too. They had bumbos, sit up seats, swings/rockers, bassinets, stroller, and more. They had some bikes and scooters in the front as well. Today they had a sale 20% off clothes. We saw so many cute onesies for only $1-3 too. I tried to sell a bunch of very expensive baby clothes and they didn't accept hardly anything. The reason they gave was it was stained, and I would never sell stained clothes. It honestly offended me. Most of the things I was trying to sell were more expensive than the clothes on their shelves so you would think that being in baby clothes business they would know that. I absolutely love Children's Orchard! I brought in a bag of my kids gently used clothes and toys, and the selling process was so simple. They checked everything quickly and gave me cash on the spot or I could choose store credit for more money. I really appreciated how fair they were and how easy it was compared to listing things online or taking so much time trying to sell at a garage sale. On the buying side, the store is a treasure! Everything is neatly organized and in excellent condition, but at a fraction of retail prices. I found brand name clothes and a few toys my kids had been asking for, all at super affordable prices. My wife took in some clothes to sell on 11/25. Definitely not worth selling to this store. They took multiple pieces of clothing/pajama sets that were brand new and offered $10, then will turn around and sell for much more. Not my first time selling here but will definitely be my last. Also, I was not impressed with the selection at all. Very high prices for a resale shop. Donation is a better option read more

The people at this place are really nice not sure why they got bad reviews for that however, I am only giving three stars due to when selling you do not get reasonable money back. They give you about 10-15% of what you pay for things. I sold an item to them that was $360 they offered $45. Just ridiculous. I take my kids clothes and they buy from walk ins. Laundry basket full at a time. Ive never paid attention how much i get per piece until last few times. I count how many pieces i come in with and how many at the end. Basically you get 50 to 75 cents per piece. I understand they have overhead, but i was shocked to not get at least $1 per piece given they are name brand and like new pieces. They tried explaining name brands are common place and they get a lot of it. I use to get $20 about per visit. It has been going down over the years. My last trip I got $14.25. She wouldnt even come up to an even $15. I would have been happy with $15. I suppose this place works for some people but for me, not anymore. I get more on ebay or garage sales.... even a bigger write off if i donate it. I wish they gave at least $1 per item especially since it is brand name and like new. They did say I dont have to sell, but come. I am there already. Just a little disappointed. Had i gotten $15, wouldnt have taken the time to write this review. read more

Not sure why the reviews of this place are so low... I absolutely love it here! They run awesome sales too if you get on their mailing list. I always get Easter/Christmas dresses here because they are in perfect condition (obviously look before buying) and a fraction of the price! I had to zig zag through the store to get my sizes (3 mo and 24 mo). Mostly all clothes, a few toys. The shoes were hard to look at. I did buy stuff though and I will come back. read more

This place is such a scam. Clothes and items are overpriced. Selling to them is a joke! They don't tell you what they're buying from your basket. I got home and realized the took 4 really nice costumes, 2 dress shoes in great condition, and a few tops and only gave me $15 store credit. I have some really nice clothes that they won't take because of a spot that can't even be seen, yet I've had to return clothes I've bought there because there are stains, holes, tears and loose strings. read more

I was excited to try out this shop today but was disappointed. Very small and couldn't get through the isles with my child in a umbrella stroller. Wide selection of clothes and sizes but everything was outdated and very worn out. Toys/books and misc items were overpriced and outdated as well. I can't speak to selling used items since I have yet to do so, but I completely disagree with the negative reviews on quality of the items and the organization/size of the store. It is definitely a small space, but they very efficiently fit A LOT of things into the space. I've always been very happy with the selection, price, and quality of the things that I've purchased. I love that they offer more than just clothes as well. On top of that, they will take your information if they don't have something you want and call you when/if it becomes available. I was excited to try and sell some of my daughters old things since I was new to the store. The woman who helped me was very rude and didn't take anything because the clothes weren't put together right. My daughters toys were lightly used and had some very light yellowing which they also wouldn't take even though their site said they would. I guess what I'm saying is that I feel my stuff wasn't good enough for their store so I'm pretty disappointed and I'm not going back!! read more

From a shopping perspective the selection of younger children's clothing is pretty decent but they only carry up to size 14 in there trying to only carry up to size 12 so if your daughter is size 16 or plus size I would not recommend wasting your time even going read more

Don't bother with this place! I had a basket full of name brand (Polo, Gymboree, Lands End, etc) stuff, a lot new with tags and was offered $35.50. Huh?! It's worth more to me as a tax deduction! While waiting I searched the racks and found only junk and THREE items I donated to Salvation Army because I thought they were to faded for Me to sell. I have shopped at Children's Orchard for many years...was there yesterday and bought 2 pants and 2 shirts. As I was checking out the lady behind the counter persuaded me to buy a $40.00 NorthFace jacket for my daughter. Their policy is you have 10 days to return and you can only get 20.00 cash back. The rest would be in store credit. Well of course the jacket is too small so I returned it. The lady did not want to give me the receipt back...I said I might have other items to return. She said well normally people are done with their receipts when they return something. I wasn't done with it! It was very annoying. Then I had 3 pairs of pants I used in store credit for...she gave me a refund slip for the jacket but no receipt. When I asked her if she gave me the receipt she lied and said yes....so I told her no you didn't. Then she said she needed the receipt for her records!!! Then how am I supposed to return these pants if they don't fit my daughter??????????????? Total scam....she finally gave it to me but so did not want to! I took in a full laundry basket of clothes a few months back. I strategically placed the clothes in the basket so I could get as much in there as possible. So I could make as much money as possible. 90% of the clothing was name brand with quite a few items, brand new with store tags still on them. They took about half of what was in there, which included all the store tagged stuff. I got $17.00. I was dumbfounded. Thinking back I should've said "no thank you" and made the lady resort all my clothes and give them back to me. But I believe I was in such shock from the low ball amount of money, I just agreed to the $17.00, took it and left. I DO NOT recommend selling any of your clothing to this place. You'll make better money selling at a garage sale of mom to mom sale. I know for a fact I would've made triple for all that stuff at a mom to mom sale. To make it even worse, this wasn't my first time. I thought I'd give them a second chance. Was that a big mistake!! Oh well, lesson learned. read more
