All of the staff are unbelievably great people. Regardless of whether they are the child's main teacher(s), filling in from another classroom, a floating teacher, or an administrative role, they all take the time to get to know your child. Not even just know them but truly care about them. I cannot even count the number of times I've logged on to the cameras to find that a teacher is hugging my son, or making him laugh or just comforting him. They 100% treat these kids as if they are their own children and it's the most heartwarming thing to witness how much they love them. I'm not typically the sappiest person but it does make me a little sappy thinking about it. Cameras are accessible at any time throughout the day and as a parent it's so comforting seeing that your child is being cared for and so fun to see them interacting and playing with their peers. The staff goes out of their way to host seasonal family events and are always doing fun arts and crafts with the little ones as well as doing cute themed events for holidays and such. Diapers are changed very often, fragrance free wipes are provided, lunch and snacks are provided, and they have great hours as well as part time rates available. If an issue occurs they do their best to correct it. My son attended a popular franchised daycare prior, and while they did stay on top of basic care, there was no personal relationship there between the staff and children. At C2C you will really feel like you are dropping your child off with family members. It's not perfect of course but I believe it's as close to perfect as childcare can get. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for quality care for their children.

I was nervous, excited and cautious all at once; my son was in a previous daycare for 8 months before I decided to move him. During his time at the first daycare, my son did not cry not once, other than when tired or hungry. I was switching for the structure and curriculum as well as convenience. I decided on C2C for several reasons. C2C is around the corner from my oldest school and made it convenient for me to eventually move my oldest to the before & after school care. My husband would be able to help me with pick/drop off on days I am needed to work longer than expected and I wanted my 1 y/o to be surrounded by others his age and I wanted him to experience more for his developmental stage. I expected for my son to feel out of place and act shy around everyone at first but this was not the case. My son cried almost every day, rarely ate and looked distraught. I was curious to see how they would put him down to nap as he was never used to sleeping on a matt so I logged on and watched. The main teacher, Ms. Yesenia essentially flipped and slammed my child onto the matt and covered him, she did the same to other kids. And this happened EVERY SINGLE DAY he was there! I then begin to record and watch the camera to see how my child was being treated. One day during nap time, most of the babies were awake expect for 3, my son was one of the 3. She begins to pick up all the matts and when she got to my son's matt she picked up the matt from underneath him and rolled him off the matt without hesitating. My son rolled onto a sitting position and looked confused! This was NOT OKAY with me!! I decided to call Sally and express my concerns to her, I did not feel this sort of behavior was acceptable. Sally assured me that she would talk with Ms. Yesenia and review the footage. She communicated with Ms. Yesenia and the next day as I dropped my child off Ms. Yesenia gave me the cold shoulder and when I attempted to tell her about my son's meals, she would not even look at me, her energy was negative towards me. At this point, I decided to give her one more day, but the next day it was the same. At this point I brought it up to Sally and explained that this was not okay as my son is my priority and if I have a concern, Ms. Yesenia should not retaliate. My son was at this daycare for 8 solid days. During this time, my child lost weight. He was not given the attention during meal times like I asked of them and by the time I was picking him up he would have about 3-5oz of milk total. I began to feel very anxious every day, he would cry when I would drop him off and I was not getting a comfortable feeling from Ms. Yesenia. Both instances that I voiced my concerns to Sally, she relayed the message to Ms. Yesenia however, her behavior was being justified because she would not admit to the wrong doing and she "is" the best employee she's had. In return she took my concerns in a negative way and I felt she took them out on my son. My son was inadvertently telling me he was not happy at C2C. My son is a happy child; he cries for TWO reasons: hunger or tired. So, I pulled him out on Tuesday started him at another daycare on Wednesday and it was night and day. My son did not CRY AT ALL. My son ate ALL his foods, had 10oz of milk along with 6oz of water without refusing them. I watched the cameras all day Wednesday and not once did I see my son cry - so I made the right move! If your child is attending or will be attending the toddler program, beware of Ms. Yesenia. I feel that if she would have not been the teacher for my 1 y/o, we would still be at C2C. Being a parent is the hardest job on this planet but, if my child is showing me signs that he is not happy, I will act and defend my baby!

I get concerned phone calls any time they miss more than a day or 2 in a row. I even get notified of every little bump, just in case it turns out to be something more than something small. Both of my children took their sweet time talking, but after just a few short weeks of going to The Honey Tree, their vocabulary exploded. My son has recently moved up to the Pre-K program and I have already seen so much improvement with his writing skills & visual recognition of numbers & letters. He is even starting to try to sound out words on his own. Miss Helen and her entire staff really do go above & beyond to make sure that every child is loved and cared for.

When my oldest (now 10yrs old) started going when she was 6 months old we had been at a not so great daycare before and I was apprehensive to say the least. The staff put me at ease very quickly and were always responsive when I had questions or would call during the day to check on my baby. My youngest (now 6) started when she was 8 weeks old. Both of my kids attended until they graduated the Pre-K program there and went to Kindergarten. They also offer a service where you can log in to a secure site and view your child in their classroom(s). That was such a nice bonus when they would have events like Go Texan Day or their Valentine's parties when I couldn't be there but still felt like I was a part of it. If you want your children in a loving and family focused environment you definitely need to go take a tour of the facility. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Our oldest graduated from here and had the best time at school and it prepared her academically, socially, and emotionally for kindergarten. We have had a great experience with our 3 year old as well, he's always happy to go to school and happy at the end of the day when I pick him up. I LOVE that they provide lunches here, are a smaller school so you can really get to know the staff and other families, and that they have outdoor playgrounds and large indoor spaces for play on rainy/cold days! The fact that it is Faith-based is what really sold us and was very important to us. Our children have all enjoyed and benefited from the chapel time everyday. The staff and directors get to know each and every family personally and communication is excellent. Everyone is so friendly and truly care about the children they serve. The current director is aware of a teacher putting their hands on two children and that teacher has had no consequences. She has a "30-day suspension" where she is still allowed to work around kids, including the two she put her hands on. I would not recommend working here nor bringing your kids here. I keep in contact with parents and they repletely tell me what the administrative staff tells them, how rudely they talk to them and how little they make the parents feel. One time I had one of my kids choke on a piece of food and I had to do the Heimlich maneuver on said kid. Thankfully it came out and the kid is ok, but they did not inform the parents of what happened to their own child. So said child went home and said she choked on a piece of food, the mother texted me that night furiously asking me what happened. When I explained the situation and told her I told the administrative staff, she was even more furious. They failed to contact the mother, which resulted in me having to calm her down. Another time I had one of my kids hit his head hard, to the point where he was bleeding and had to go get surgical glue for the cut. I called on the walkie in tears saying I needed help, and no one came. It took another teacher to tell them to come to my room. The front obviously had favorites, but they are so petty to the point where they would ignore a bleeding child simply because they did not like me. All the front desk did was ignore us and talk bad about the parents. So bad to the point where a parent left in tears and withdrew her kid, I still keep in touch, and she was so happy for me when I told her I was not at chrysalis anymore. They will talk bad about you and your child; I have heard it with every single kid who walks in that door. Chrysalis never ever had one good thing to say about me. I was there for almost two years and on my last day my boss told me the following "None of the parents or kids liked me. I am not fit to be a teacher; I was a bad teacher, and I should have been gone a long time ago." The office staff is very petty and very messy, after my time at chrysalis I had staff tell me "So and so said this about you" one month after I was gone. The front desk women are very messy and very unprofessional. They made the work environment so unbearable and toxic. The teachers there were overworked, tired, crying, and the front and director did nothing to help. She gave us a chocolate bar and that was it. I loved my kids, to this day I babysit and keep in contact with them. It was never the kids. They were the best kids to me. The main problem was the front desk, the director and the way they ran things. I have more and more stories about chrysalis, but it keeps me up at night feeling so bad the teachers who are good teachers there. PLEASE DO NOT WORK OR BRING YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL. If my coworkers are reading this, I hope you realize the pain you have brought upon me. Chrysalis 'Christian' preschool is nothing but a scam. Do NOT contact me.

My infant was violently rocked (in a rocker) by a larger kid while the 1 staff member in the room (with 7 kids) was on their phone. Later in the day, he was pulled closer to a teacher in the same rocker where she watched him being rocked harshly (again) by a larger student. This could have led to shaken baby syndrome, the rocker flipping over and multiple other dangerous scenarios. Concerns were raised with the front office and his teachers. It was suggested to us to "just not bring him the next day." Both my husband and I have full time jobs & we were still expected to pay the full weekly rate even though our son wasn't guaranteed a safe environment. As their "solution" the next day, they placed my son in the rocker inside of the crib...another unsafe scenario where he was completely ignored. We immediately picked him up & unenrolled him.

I truly feel like the staff loves my children and its such a relief to drop them off and know that they will be so well cared for.
