We have been with CLAA Milton for about three and a half months, and choosing this school has truly been one of the best decisions our family has made. We drive 35-45 minutes each day (and anyone who knows about GA traffic knows that's no small thing), but it is absolutely worth it. From the administrative team to the teachers--and even staff from other classrooms--the level of care and love shown to the children is phenomenal. As a first-time mom, I am so grateful to have found a school like this. My son is in the Transition class (three-year-olds), and his teacher, Ms. Taylor, is nothing short of amazing. She is sweet, kind, patient, and incredibly attentive. You can genuinely feel how much she loves and cares for my son every time I drop him off and pick him up. She is always communicative, open to suggestions, and consistently offers thoughtful feedback and guidance. It truly feels like we are part of a village, working together as a team. The warmth extends far beyond the classroom. Ms. Vicky, Ms. Pam, and Ms. Doris are all incredibly kind, nurturing, and loving. They greet my son with so much care each day, and it speaks volumes that every morning he stops to give everyone a hug. That alone tells me how safe, loved, and comfortable he feels at school. There are also days when I come to pick him up and he doesn't want to leave and that says everything. Knowing that my child is happy, engaged, and genuinely enjoys being there brings me so much peace as a parent. The hospitality from the administrative staff each morning and afternoon is just as incredible. Ms. Erica brings such positive, welcoming energy that it honestly makes you want to stay a little longer after drop-off. Ms. Hope is a director who truly leads by example--she isn't hidden away in an office. She is present, visible, engaging with parents, walking through classrooms, and supporting staff hands-on. You can see her involvement daily, not just during meetings or special moments. What truly sets CLA Milton apart is the openness and communication. Any time there is a concern, everyone is willing to have conversations and address things head-on. It is such a family-oriented environment, and that level of support is priceless. This review honestly doesn't even do the school justice. It's something you truly have to experience. My daughter went there from age 2-5. Teachers turn around was a revolving door. They couldn't keep the good experienced teachers so eventually teachers assistants (19 year olds with no degree or experience) suddenly became lead teachers. We are easy going parents but we ended up meeting with the director every week about something. At the time we couldn't switch places because of work constraints but as soon as we could we left. read more

My son attended the summer camp program. The facility is a kids dream. I can only recommend the summer camp for being a fun place for kids. Unfortunately, there are no academic lessons taught during the summer. I was disappointed about that but cannot fault them because it was "summer camp". read more

We absolute love CLA! The teachers are so warm, the administration is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is so fun. Mrs. Maria is the sweetest! Our son has hard time leaving us in the mornings, but he goes immediately to her with the biggest hug. He also is learning so quickly, and the school is very focused on programming. I am a teacher at the elementary school across the street from Children's Learning Adventure where my children collectively have been enrolled for three years now. Currently, I have two of my three kiddos at CLA; my 5 month old son and my 4 year old daughter. My oldest son is now in middle school but he used to attend the aftercare program. We had seen a turnover in staff, management, protocols, and activity changes/closures from Covid when we first enrolled and the difference between good staff and great staff. Shamia and her staff are literally the best I have ever encountered in the many daycares we could never call our forever homes. I cannot say enough kind things about Shamia and her work ethic, attention to detail, and love for children. She is an amazing leader and has made CLA feel like an extended home. She knows the kids and their families, leaves snacks out for them when they leave, greets them by their names, and addresses parent questions/concerns quickly. She really knows her staff well and her staff speaks highly of her to others; also saying she is a great listener and leader. We honestly look at the staff as family. I don't ever worry about my children when I drop them off because I know they are cared for and most importantly LOVED. Khadjah, Shelby, and Pam also know my children so well. I love watching them greet kiddos by their names every morning and afternoon as well. They have a way of making all of them feel special. They too communicate often; calling to update records, make sure we're satisfied with the care we're receiving, or even to share a positive moment about the day. We don't have just one "go to" person when we have questions or even concerns. Pam, Khadjah, Shelby, Kristen, and Ammar are all knowledgeable, understanding, easy people to talk to. Pam has watched my children grow up for the last few years and is always there to help! Khadija and Tanesha in my son's infant room as well as my daughter's teacher in the PreK program, Ms. Teresa have worked so hard this year in fostering their growth, teaching, and learning. Leaving my son at just 7 weeks old had been really tough. However, this team has been the most professional and empathetic throughout this process and I am truly grateful for them. I don't know how we got here so fast but my little guy is five months now. He is always so happy when I drop him off and pick him up. I love the finger and feet paintings that Khadija and Tanesha do with the littles and I always look forward to them for keepsakes. Ms. Teresa, the Pre K teacher. She is a phenomenal educator and I have seen so much improvement in my daughter's academics and social/emotional growth. Ms. Teresa takes time to develop plans that meet the needs of all her students in all areas. She impresses me every time I pick up my daughter in terms of her lessons and her patience! She is nurturing, fair, firm, consistent, and goes above and beyond. My daughter pretends she's Ms. T when she's home playing "small groups" and cries when she is kept home because of sickness. Those things fill my bucket and just goes to show that my daughter is in the right place with the right teacher. My daughter is usually in the care of Mr. Tito and Miss Cha'Tarra afterschool. She adores them and they are always fully engaged with kids; playing games and making crafts with them. I love how they sit at the tables and are engaged with the kiddos, never just monitoring. read more

It looks so cool on the outside and the inside looks really neat for the kids but unfortunately it was extremely disorganized and lacked leadership and communication. I've never heard so many excuses from a director. We never attended the actual programs offered so I can't speak on those as we declined after multiple issues prior to attending. read more

Don't Let The Appearance Fool You! | Very Concerning I was debating to even write a review but when I did not receive a call back from the director about my concerns then I felt the need for someone to maybe find this helpful. The establishment itself looks amazing but it defeats the purpose when the staff is not pleasent and treats you like you are just another number. My wife and I did a tour with our 2 yr. old daughter a week prior and loved how everything looked. We were scheduled to start our daughter and on her first day the front staff had all these stipulations that was not discussed previously in our walk thru of the establishment. When we told them that we preferred that our daughter not to drink milk because it upsets her stomach. They stated that it was a STATE LAW and that we needed to have a doctors note stating that they could not serve her milk. It was her first day of class and we could not get a doctors note in that quick of a turn around. We thought they would compromise but they stated that they would serve her the milk but put it to the side and make sure she does not drink it, which we did not understand that logic. We never heard of a STATE LAW that stated your child had to have milk going against the parents wishes. They were very arrogant and condescending. The staff needs training on how to properly communicate with parents. We are entrusting your establishment to take care of our child and the staff is being snooty and uncaring. This was a red flag for us. We decided to leave to reevaluate our decision and in the meantime reach out to the Director whom never called us back to check on things or hear our concerns. The topping on the cake was they charged us a full week of service and our daughter never stepped foot in the classroom. There are a vast majority of daycares in the Milton, GA area that would gladly take your child in and treat like them like their own, this establishment is not the one that I would entrust my child to enroll in. As stated before they treat you like another number. If the staff does not change especially upfront then it will not last long no matter how Disney like the facility looks. read more

The only reason they get one star is because zero stars isn't an option. My child started at this daycare and immediately there were issues. First there was a mark on her nose that was told to my wife & I was paint, that mark was a chunk of skin that still hasn't healed 2 weeks later so it definitely wasn't paint. Two days later on the 23rd of April my daughter was brought out with a filthy mask that wasn't hers, subsequently she actually did get sick. When I voiced my concerns the staff was very nonchalant about it and the director Jessica Sampson contacted my wife but only gave excuses. I was even told it was my child's fault for not speaking up and telling, mind you she is a bit behind on her speech and takes classes for it. The following week I sent her but only right until the time I had to go to work so she could spend the least possible amount of time with these people until we could find another arrangement. After we did, we requested a refund for this current week because they bill a week in advance and we were already charged. Jessica told me she wouldn't give one because the contract states a two week notice must be given. When I inquired about it because my wife was never told that when she signed up, I was told that, Jessica said she'd get back to me, and of course she never did. read more

Don't be fooled by the Disney-like decor of the daycare. It belies how poorly managed this facility is as well as the unqualified & underpaid staff that rotates in and out. Employee retainment is definitely not their strong suit but neither is cleanliness, stimulating activities for toddlers, or enforcing their own rules/procedures. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. We regret going there. read more

My daughter started at Children's Learning adventure when she was three months old. I'm writing this she is currently seven months old. So far we really love the infant room. Miss Khadijah and miss Pamm make you feel very comfortable leaving your infant with them. Both of them have tons of experience working with infants and take care of your child as if it were their own. And they do so much artwork with baby footprints and baby handprints that you will literally run out of space on your refrigerator. Their hours make it's super convenient for most schedules. I drop my baby off in the morning and so I get to see Miss Pam put out the toys and stuff from cleaning them the night before. I see firsthand that everything is sanitized and cleaned every day. We enjoy CLA. We have two kids enrolled and they both enjoy going every day. We've been there for about 1.5 years. The infant room teachers are really great! Ms. Pam and Ms. Khadijah are very warm and friendly. They treat my baby as it was their own and that makes me happy. I am so glad they are my baby's teachers. Ms. Debbie and Ms. Jamie are also awesome! My kiddo enjoys their room. They do lots of crafts, signing and reading books. In the classroom they reiterate manners for clearing plate, washing hands, cleaning up and saying thank you. They seem to really care about my kiddo and I am grateful for that. read more

Very poor customer service. They "don't discuss pricing over the phone", I was told I had to make an appointment and tour the facility before I could receive any pricing information. I need to know if a facility is even in my price range before taking time off of work to visit in person. read more

If I could rate lower then a one I would. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE! My experience is just one of several parents that have left this school unhappy. They are dirty, they are understaffed for the amount of children in each class. My one daughter has celiac and cannot each gluten and was given a gluten cupcake. My 3 year old daughter came home dirty every single day. Some of her outfits were so bad I had to throw out. The last straw was picking up my daughter with blood on her from a cut on her leg that had not been tended too. This school is poorly managed and run. I would definitely not feel safe leaving my children here which is why we pulled out from the school. Look beyond the shininess that they show in the walk through. read more
