I've been following Sophie's on Instagram for a long time and have seen the super cute floral gifts they have so decided to order one for local delivery since I live in another state. I placed the order online and within a few minutes I received a call from Sophie's that they had received my order. They let me know that they had sold out of something in the gift I ordered and asked if I would like to swap it for something else, which was fine with me. I really appreciated the transparency and the super quick call. Barely an hour later, I got a text from my brother that the flowers and candle box had already arrived. She was welcome to leave her stroller outside and shop (I have two small toddlers, and anyone with kids knows that's a ridiculous idea). I couldn't believe how rude they were to this poor mom! If it hadn't been for my mom being willing to keep my kids, I would have brought them.. in a stroller! The racks actually were very close together, and it was extremely crowded in their small store to the point that I wondered if it was safe. My second experience was today, a Wednesday around 1:45 in the afternoon, I left a store in the same shopping center and saw a rack of clothes outside Poppeas, so I thought it was a sidewalk sale and I glanced at the clothes and decided to stop in the store and give them a second chance. I opened the door, and literally had two employees YELL at me that THEY WERE CLOSED!! I'm not sure why they didn't have their door locked or a sign up letting customers know they weren't open, but I have never experienced such terrible customer service. Definitely not giving them a third chance!
