My daughter went to children's development center preschool, the owner is Carol she is also the director someone please investigate the school I removed my child today after 6 days were done! Carol measor is a nasty human she is not friendly at all. She's very abrasive very micromanaging. Poor people skills. Extremely rude and rotten. No type of respect when speaking to other adults. Does not let you speak cut you off puts her hand in your face she's very bullish, controlling, and if she gets confronted, she lies on you, she's evil and I believe as a human rights, officer and advocate for people with out a voice I'm a strong one ! She learned today and was put in her place factually, she called my husband to pick up our daughter who is 2.9 years old, Carol stated, she had 100 fever My husband asked if she can apply cold compress. She said we can't touch her. She needs to be picked up right away.talks very rude, cuts you off when speaking to her my husband told her don't cut me off again, he is a builder works in Boston is over and hour away I got there 20 minutes after she called me to pick her up. Anyone can walk in that place nobody's watching to see who's coming no security cameras. She told me she can't afford them I should of did my diligence and checked online before I had my child go to her. She has numerous bad reviews and State open cases on her. I get to the daycare I walk in her classroom. I say nothing. I immediately take my daughters temperature with my thermometer. It's saying she's 98.2. I asked them to speak to the nurse they took her temperature and they got the same results. I then said I will not be spoken to nasty by her , The doctors office stated after I took her to them if it's not 102 or higher it is not a fever. They wanted her gone because of a runny nose that she got because she was outside for hours in the cold, without a hat and mittens on, and I also have a video to prove it. Carol told me make sure I have enough gear cause we spend hours outside. She told me she's very strict and people don't like it and that she is about safety and learning she is an actress! I sent 3 of everything . They even used my wipes on other children I even gave them two big huge wipes, she never eats lunch they claim she doesn't want it. I pack lunch and 3 snacks a day and two drinks the first day the drinks was full when I picked her up, she was thirsty when i showed up! one day at noon I walked in Everybody was eating but her i question that! Carol told me herself she has no staff because she can't afford them and they don't last because they call out for numerous reasons, she told me some of her staff had bachelors and associate degrees the staff seem wonderful I was very nice and kind to everybody on the three first days of the process of getting my child into the school on the interview with Carol. When I spoke with her, I noticed she was bullish very micromanaging. I didn't say anything I took it. She's an older woman I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She even pocket at $100 bill. $50 towards the down payment application and $50 was to go to next week's tuition which they constantly emailed me saying I owed when I paid a week early. Too much funny business going on. Carol stoped talking to me after the fourth time we met, which was my daughter's first day of class we walked through the building I said hi. Good morning she said phone away put your daughter down let her walk to the class. My daughter refused to come down in the parking lot. It's her first day of school. She was very nervous. She has never been to daycare before I said you know Carol please do not micromanage me maybe on the second or third day she will walk to her class she's afraid I will hold her. I am the mother not you she walked away said oh OK I will not help you then. She is very defensive and lies and covers things up she should definitely look into taking a class on how to speak to children&adults god bless anyone working for her I feel sorry for them, no incident report made on my daughters face no one new what happened!!!!? read more

My daughter has been attending the Children's Development Center consistently for over 3 years now. This child care center is located in a convenient location right off route 24. I am fortunate that it is only a mile away from where I work in the Raynham Industrial Park at Depuy, Johnson & Johnson. I have to say that the teachers at the Children's Development Center are top notch. I can't think of a bad experience we have had with any of them! We also absolutely love the multi-sensory curriculum they provide the children. At three years old, our daughter is already able to identify all 26 letters and identify numbers 1-18, beyond just reciting the ABC's and counting 1-30. We think its great that she has learned how to socialize with her peers. On a daily basis we are astonished by what she has learned and what she comes home saying and "repeating". My wife who is a teacher in a public school, really enjoys the events for families that the director organizes. It has been a nice way to get to know other families who attend the CDC. Our 15 week old son also attends the CDC now and we are comforted in knowing he is well cared for, since he is still so young. I highly recommend the CDC for anyone who is looking for quality child care. read more

Wish I could leave zero stars. Carol is a monster, DO NOT send you children here if you care and love them. Carol's discipline practices are extremely questionable and out-right illegal. Ask her about turn over rate for employees that take the right approach and try to whistle blow but end up losing their job. read more
