Dr Huxford decided I had a cavity on my upper rear molar which would require removing the cap then repair then replace it so I trusted him. A total failure to say the least. After trying to drill old cap off he began pulling at it. He took 2 attempts to replace cap. Neither fit, leaving a gap and knot sealed properly, SO 6 months later it becomes a huge abscess causing me to loose the tooth and in need of an implant. He said he could not fix this problem so I had to find another dentist. New dentist found other issues created by Huxford. He fails to do the quality work any patient believes and trusts they would receive. We have been going to dentists for over 50 years and this is the first one I would not recommend.

He explained everything to her in terms she can understand so that she wasn't scared of any instruments he uses etc. He takes his time reviewing X-rays with you and explaining things. Definitely 100% perfect "bed side manner". My daughter stayed happy and excited the entire time during her X-rays, exam, and cleaning. When she was done she was given 3 tokens to use on their prize machine, she was so excited over her prizes and then grabbed a little cup of ice cream on the way out. The time, attention, and positivity here calmed her nerves immediately and in the future will make future appointments and cleanings a positive experience. My son went here when he was a younger and had the same positive experience and the same now for my daughter over 10+ years later Dr. Bybee continues to impress me and does a great job! Dr. Tucker is very knowledgeable and takes his time answering your questions and making sure you're comfortable with the treatment plan. Dr. Tucker is just conservative enough treatment wise, he doesn't ignore issues but he's not quick to over treat or unnecessarily treat baby teeth. This matters so much!! During numbing, Dr. Hon did not wait for the anesthetics shots to kick in he just went right in to pulling her teeth. It was so rushed and he didn't even ask or check to make sure she felt numbing. After my niece was screaming her head off, we asked him to please take a break to let the anesthesia sit longer because she had more teeth to pull out. He angrily threw his tools down and stormed out of the room without saying a word. Don't know if he was having a bad day or judging us for how many cavities she had but she is only 6 years old. She was scheduled to come back to have her caps removed but this deterred us from ever coming back.

The reception area is great. The office is so spacious and while it was busy, it didn't feel cramped. We were able to fill out our paperwork and didn't have to wait long until we were called back. Dr. West and his assistant were extremely patient and caring for our 2 kids who were nervous. I was so relieved to have a dentist for them who was so kind and understanding.
