They literally falsified information based on whatever prejudice they have against myself and father to my children. When CYFD followed up at the same home they reported - the investigator told us their report was 'frivolous and a waste of time' = UNSUBSTANTIATED. I contacted one of the teachers directly regarding their actions, and she told me the director would contact me- and she never did! I will never recommend this place to anyone. And during class time visits last year, one of the staff was being extremely rude and militant with some of my son's classmates, rather than exploring positive discipline approaches. I should have recognized that as a red flag, but had more faith in them than I really should have. These people lack integrity, are untrustworthy, and act completely fake - all smiles to your face when they obviously pass judgment behind your back. My kids are already enrolled in a new wonderful program, so we find this terrible incident to have been a blessing in disguise. Please, take your children elsewhere.

My wife and I have been very happy with Kiddie Academy of North Albuquerque. We started looking for…read moredaycare with all the trepidations and concerns of first-time parents (our daughter is 17 m/o), but the proprietors and staff have absolutely alleviated all of our fears. In fact, we are on a first-name basis with all of them, and they are always quick to answer our questions or work with us when we have scheduling issues. The facility is state-of-the-art, clean, bright, and spacious. The Watch Me Grow app allows us to watch our daughter through a camera in her classroom, which gives us additional peace of mind. The staff are all friendly, patient, and generous. The itineraries, care, and meals are all geared toward healthy development of the children in their care. And there is an active effort to teach the children and encourage physical activity and creativity, not just watch over them while their parents are at work. Our daughter frequently surprises us with new behaviors or tasks that we realize she learned at school. The toddler instructor Miss Geneva is absolutely wonderful. The tenderness she has shown our daughter has been incredible, especially during the first two weeks when she was having serious separation anxiety. Our daughter has adjusted very well to child care at Kiddie Academy, and now looks forward to going to "school."

At the previous school my child was hit by a teacher and we created an investigation. So I wanted my child to be in an educational system in which I could have access to video monitoring services and one that held teachers accountable. So I as any parents of a little one I was skeptical of every place that I went to observe and I ended liking kiddie academy because of their philosophy, rules, and how they hold teachers accountable. My child has a few couples of days getting used to his new school and he did bite a child one day and got suspended. However in no time he learned to get a long with the rest of the children and be friends with children. I saw my child grow as the little butterfly he is and be confident in his social skills and educational journey. He was able to graduate from pre-K with his peers and do the summer program as well. He loved it so much that me that he is in kinder he tells me he misses Kiddie academy friends and teachers. Childcare is one of the most important jobs in existence. I am proud to say that throughout the pandemic we were able to not only survive, but thrive. Though we were clear (at first) about not being able to accommodate older age groups, we did so in an effort to help our alumni families as we always do and always will!! With the help of an amazing person/teacher we were able to accommodate those who had no other choice but to return to work and send their children to us to provide online schooling. I am so proud of what our teachers did for these children and families. Online schooling for 5th grade down was never apart of our staff trainings. However, not only did the teachers get on board, they mastered it! It's not always pretty and not every parent is willing to mirror the work we have done and continue to do for the success of these children, but we will pride ourselves on doing the best we can. I don't believe reviews show the reality, as disgruntled employees or less than willing parents (far and few) seem to be the main cause of a bad review. At the end of the day, we will continue to provide a loving, and educational environment for our kids to thrive! We set the foundation and our goals will always be to create a stable beginning for our next generation. We strive to always be a source of support and love throughout the most sensitive periods of your child's development.

Please read. Writing this as a concerned parent. Our sons…read morewere at the learning experience for quite some time. And we initially really liked the center. Our son's first year teachers were amazing. But then thing started going down hill. It all happened starting a year ago (January 9, 2025 to be exact) our son's teacher was dealing with personal life problems so she was not able to be there for a week, and that meant other teachers were coming in the class to take over while she was gone. One in which was there most often. My son was scared to go to school because he told me how this teacher was being mean to the kids (grabbing them by the collar of there shirt aggressively and rag dolling them around) I asked him to point her out to me who she was and he did even referring to her as "mean teacher". I went to the director (Monica) and assistant director (Amber at the time) addressing my concerns. And even after talking to other parents and the main teacher in the class multiple kids were scared as well. Even after coming to them that teacher was still there! However, they told me they would move him up if this continued. His main teacher came back and nothing happened, so we didn't have to worry about it anymore. We always felt accommodated when going up to the director as she had moved us up early when we came to her with a concern. Keep in mind all she ever did was move us up. Im not sure if any of these concerns were actually even taken care of addressed to the teacher. A year passed and he was put into Preschool 1 that "mean teacher" was back and this other teacher was in the class with her (they seemed to be best friends). My son again started coming to me really sad and scared that his teachers were being mean to him again. He even showed me red finger print marks on his arm just above his elbow. He went on to tell me that teacher was grabbing them and rag dolling them again. I asked him why? And he said "because I wasn't listening". Although I do understand how hard it is to get kids under control. NO ONE NOT EVEN MYSELF will ever leave marks on MY son's arm. I asked him again to show me who it was and he pointed at the other teacher! But this time he hid behind me before even pointing at her so I knew he was scared. So not only did one of them do this prior now the other one was doing it too. We reported our incident to Monica (the director) in which was handled very unprofessional. She literally LAUGHED at our concern and told us that "that was her most structured class". Also adding that we never had the conversation to her about our concerns before (the one on January 9, 2025) We did not feel comfortable taking our kids to this school anymore. And I personally had to drop out of my college classes and quit my job so I could stay home with my sons as this no longer felt like a safe school to keep them in.
