Next Gen staff clearly care about the families, the community, and each other. The center is clean, the staff fun, and the Directors responsible and experienced. They hold everyone to high standards of care. Sadly, this is the complete opposite of our previous center. Though we have only interacted with some teachers (starting at 4 means we skipped a few classes!), all have been wonderful. My daughter is getting ready for Kindergarten, made fantastic friends, and regularly makes cards for her teachers (just because she adores them). I no longer stress about the care she is receiving, if she will be behind in school, or if the teachers are treated well (phew!). I will note the cost is higher and the hours more limited (close earlier) than our other center. Thankfully, we were able to manage both; totally worth it!

The communication, the staff, the love is beyond my expectations. Director Kim has been amazing in answering questions and Ms.Ally is my sons favorite teacher and has gone above and beyond! Can't recommend Next Generation enough (and I've done a lot of tours in daycares)! Don't hesitate to send your little one here. They are in great hands!

Our kids have since "graduated" to public school, but wanted to make sure we highlighted our…read moreexperience with Primrose School of Chelmsford, as honest reviews were critical to us when selecting (and changing) daycare providers for our 2 boys. First, and most importantly, the teachers and staff are amazing. The communication with the management team was always timely and we appreciated the transparency that was always provided around any teacher changes within classrooms (this was super important to us coming into the school). Any questions that I emailed the administrative team (usually after hours) were generally at least acknowledged that night (either with an answer or letting me know a timeframe I could expect an answer). Our boys were happy with the teachers and staff they interacted with (and even now when we pass by the school while driving they ask if they can stop and say hello) and simply RAVED about Chef Dan's cooking. The classrooms are spacious, clean and organized and we felt confident sending our kids there even during the COVID pandemic because of their thorough cleaning protocols and safety measures. We loved the structured curriculum that included the philosophy of learning while playing. Music and math were essentially part of most lessons throughout the day! Phonics and reading development were worked into the curriculum as well (some other places we looked at included these programs but they were an additional cost). Cost is usually a factor when selecting a daycare and we were very happy that the rates at Primrose were competitive with other similarly situated centers. We truly saw the value in what we were paying and the care and educational support and experience the kids were receiving. In total, we were at the school for nearly 3 years and one or both of our kids were in toddlers, preschool, pre-K, the private kindergarten program as well as the (newly created during COVID) school-age remote learning programs and both kids attended full-time. We are thankful to be part of the Primrose School of Chelmsford family and have met teachers and friends that we are confident will be in our lives for some time going forward.

I…read moredon't know if words can adequately express the amount of gratitude we have for Primrose of Chelmsford and their amazing staff. During our time, they have continued to exceeded every expectation we had. We started our journey with Primrose in April of 2021, when I was returning back to work after being remote from the pandemic. I was so impressed with their clean facility, communication with parents, and their curriculum. The teachers and staff have encouraged and supported my son in so many ways and we see his confidence soaring. It's so easy sending him in everyday because he loves to go to school. We know when he's there that he is safe, cared for, and having the best time. I really loved the communication and pictures through the app and whenever I needed anything, Anne and Heidi were always right there to help. We couldn't have asked for better experience!

Now our daughter is in a two-year old class and the teachers are helping her learn the alphabet and numbers and colors and are even doing a ton to help with toilet training, which is amazing. Every day, our little girl comes home learning something new--talking better, counting to ten...it's amazing. And she's happy! One thing I love about the school is that the owners are really great about communicating with us as parents, and the teachers are too. We actually get a daily e-mail (also communicated through an app on our phone) with pictures of our daughter and details ranging from what she ate to when she pooped to all of the activities that they did and how they enhanced her learning in different areas like social skills or gross motor movement or math or language. There's also usually a picture of her and there's always a "memorable moment" from her day. The classes at Goddard are small compared to other childcares, which has been great in terms of giving our daughter individualized attention as well. In short--I cannot recommend Goddard highly enough. As a parent, I feel safe and secure and confident sending my daughter here!

I would not recommend CCG to anyone after what my family and child were put through. The…read moreadministration is horrible and the board members are inexperienced and dysfunctional. I fell in love with the beautiful classrooms and the educational philosophy. But the reality is that the administration makes it a miserable environment for teachers and parents, and therefor children as well. I had prepared my child mentally for attending CCG for over a year during the pandemic, and we were the schools biggest fans. If someone had told me somethin negative about the school, I would not have listened and would want to believe that it was a wonderful place. A place cannot be good for children if it treats children with disregard and families are met with hostility. There's nothing I can do to take back the immense stress that was caused to my family and child. Please look elsewhere, save your family the stress. I too read a bad review, but wanted to believe it was just one disgruntled person. It is not worth putting your child in the hands of an act. Go to the Groton Community School instead, or a small intimate daycare in a neighboring town, or get a nanny. Anything else but CCG.

There is something wrong with this daycare. My child has been there for over a year and I have seen…read morethe center director Mirabel raise concerns to various parents that their child has problems developing and recommended speech therapy or special needs to several parents so far. I don't think so many parents or children need that kind of help. Be suspicious of this. I do see some of these teachers in their classroom don't have good enough training to encourage your child or know what to say to teach your child to express or lead them through it. That learning and language development comes from good teachers and a good school. I don't see the teachers doing enough of that here. The preschool rooms are overloaded with children that the teacher:student ratio isn't kept within reason throughout the day so each child doesn't get the attention they need or deserve. Be careful with this daycare as they will try to play games with your child and label them as 'slow' at some point. I don't know the reason behind it, but it seems they are trying to push out current families out to let new families in so as to pretend to be sweet to the newer families and feel good about themselves while treating the current families with disrespect. Either way, don't believe what the director says here as most of it she tries to spin her own drama.
