I noticed that a man and his wife (caucasian) came in next. She happily greeted them and gave them the layout of the store. She asked them if they had ever been in the store before as well. A second set of people came in (caucasian as well). She gave them the same service. This time it was a mother and adult daughter. I went to the register and had to let her know I was ready to check out. She rang up my items and once I scanned my card, I asked her why the price changed. She said we charge a fee for using a debit card. I told her she didn't advise that. She only asked me what my method of payment would be. She then moved clothes off the counter to show a sign that had been completely covered up. I advised her to return the shirt and I would use cash. She refused. I will never patronize this store! Horrible service!

Sandy the sales lady got me a chair and within an hour I had everything I needed for a week long vacation for my husband. There was plenty to choose from but Sandy knew I was on a budget so we looked at mostly sales merchandise. When she rang us up the total was $165 for 4 pairs of linen shorts, 3 polos and a pair of khaki pants. She was beyond cordial. It was such a pleasant shopping experience for me. Unlike the few times I was out and had to beg for help which is why stores are losing all their biz to the internet. I call the store PS From Aeropostale - Tanger Outlet Myrtle Beach and the manager (?) offered me 10% off my next purchase as compensation for me having to go back out in the rain & drive back to the store (gas isn't cheap) just to fix the mistake THEY made. Sorry - but that is hardly adequate compensation and they should be ashamed of themselves. YOUR mistake now costs me extra time, effort, and cost... and you give me 10% off my next purchase?
