The mound of red snapper on ice was eye-catching, with its vibrant color standing out against the chill. Entered the tiny market and noticed the fresh grouper and sea bass filets in the display case. Large stone crabs at $27.00 per pound were actually competitive priced. The tubs of white fish and smoked salmon dip were slightly high at $10.95 for a quarter tub. The service was average at best as I was the only one eating at the time, My waitress on my second time was busy sitting at another table and chatting with a friend. The fried clam strips were tough and chewy. I doubt that they were even freshly breaded in house or simply frozen clam strips from Sysco. The dining room really needs a serious renovation and deep cleaning. I doubt I would return.

Great fresh seafood market that I would come Back to again…read moreand again. Came twice during our stay and both times the quality and service was outstanding. Prices seemed on par for the region and felt that the quality of options for fresh was wide. Scallops, grouper, salmon, and Key West pinks all came home with us for the week and didn't break the bank. Dinner for four each night was about $30 in seafood and really it was almost too much. Good place to grab some yummy seafood in Fort Myers…read more My friend lives in Punta Gorda, and last year when I visited, she took me here. After that visit, we decided it would be a must for my yearly visits. The restaurant is in a shopping center/strip mall with a variety of other restaurants and shops. The parking lot is shared with the other businesses, so even if you don't find a spot right in front, there's still plenty of parking available. I've been there during lunch on a weekday as well as during the weekend. When we went on the weekend, it was busier, but we were still seated quickly. They have a great system and move with ease. There's a variety of appetizers, pre-selected seafood boils, fried seafood options, and a build-your-own boil option. For all of the boils, you also have options for seasonings as well as spice level. We always choose the Juicy Special for seasonings, which is all of the options combined, and Medium spice level. I like spice, but not so much that I can't taste my food, so it's perfect! All of the boils also come with potato and corn. My only complaint was that on my last visit there were only 2 small potatoes, but it didn't ruin the experience; I just would've liked a little more potatoes. I'll be back when I visit my friend next year!
