I really enjoyed this place. It feels new & clean in there. The bathrooms were clean and that's always a good sign. I ordered the Jalapeño Holly combo but I upgraded to the side seasonal salad. I was surprised it came with a cute little cookie(which was delicious) a pickle & a few cracker packs. I'm sure it said in fine print but who reads that ;) It wasn't as spicy as I was expecting but it was salty. The crackers & some of the lettuce from my salad helped take it down a notch. I really did enjoy the flavor though. My salad was so good. The poppyseed dressing was light & refreshing. I recommend this place & I will be back to try quite a few different things. We loved the chicken salads. We tried Classic Carol & Olivia's old south. My daughter is the picky eater, so she chose a turkey sandwich with potato soup and gobbled it up in no time. Chicken salad isn't that big of a deal for me and I rarely eat it. The chicken salad here is pretty good though. Chicken salad seems like a strange thing to base an entire concept around, but Chicken Salad Chick makes a strong go of it! The menu is fairly limited since you have your choice of chicken salad as a scoop or on white, wheat, or a croissant and then pair it up with soup, salad, or a selection of small sides. I ended up going with the broccoli cheese soup and a croissant sandwich. The soup had a nice chunkiness to it rather than the typical broccoli puree and the sandwich was filling. Ultimately, I would have liked both to have a little more kick to them (sharper cheddar from the soup and some pepper or spice in the chicken salad), but they were good! Finishing off the meal was a soft cookie with red icing that was perfectly sized! The interior is done up in bright greens and whites. Plenty of stored patio umbrellas led me to believe that there is probably ample outdoor seating when weather permits. The store was extremely clean, crisp, and appeared brand new even though I know they've been in this location for several months. Approaching the order counter from the door on the opposite side of the building was a little confusing as there's no real indication how the queue is supposed to form, so go to your left along the wall. The staff at the counter were all friendly and brought out our food swiftly. Since my life has not been dedicated to finding the perfect chicken salad, I don't think I have a reason to continue searching and will stop back by for a light but filling meal! read more

I love this place! A couple of coworkers mentioned it and I had to check it out, after discovering how much I love chicken salad recently. They've got a drive thru and a pretty big dine-in area. When you walk in, there's a section of pre-made chicken salads that you can just grab and go, or you can order off their menu at the counter. You can order the chicken salad as a scoop or a sandwich. What really stuck out about this place was all of the cool flavors they have! I tried the Barbie-Q and my fiance had the Buffalo Barclay. Both were really good! They had lemonade and strawberry lemonade which I mixed with my sweet tea for a fruity Arnold Palmer. So I had never been here before and wanted to try the chicken salad by itself, if that is what they are known for it should be great on its own and not propped up by a bunch of accroutrements, like other sandwich fillings or salad ingredients. So I got a container of Jazzy Julie (A spicy mixture of cayenne pepper, bacon, & shredded cheddar cheese.) along with a croissant to eat it with. I also got a portion of the Poblano Chicken Soup (A creamy blend of diced chicken & poblano peppers with corn, black beans & a hint of lime.) First off the chicken salad was a tad on the dry side. That's fine I dont really want it heavy and gloppy anyway. But I could not detect any strong notes of the bacon or cheese, and definitely no cayenne. The soup was better, but small for what it cost. I might try it again just because maybe I ordered wrong but so far this seems a lot like Panera, just slightly elevated hospital food. read more

Amazing lunch spot. This place has been the place since I've been yay high to a green grasshopper. It's a southern chain making it's way up north. The company logo is a girl's dress blowing up. I think they said they took the picture at 6:12. Amazing variety and quality of chicken. Piping hot soup and pimento cheese so spicy that many would blush. This is a restaurant that is geared towards chicks, but guys can eat here too. Even if you are straight. I have been wanting to try Chicken Salad Chick since I heard they were opening this location. I am a huge fan of chicken salad. Basic, fancy, sweet, or savory, I love them all. I love that you're able to try multiple different versions in one meal if you select the trio. Got my first visit I selected the trio with the Fruity Fran on a croissant and then scoops of each the Buffalo Barclay and the Barbie-Q. I also took home a containers the Olivias Old South to have for later. I really loved everything. The Fruity Fran has apples, grapes and pineapple and it was delicious on the croissant. The Barbie-Q and the Buffalo Barclay were both flavorful and excellent on crackers. The Olivias Old South has sweet relish and eggs and was great as well. I can't wait to go back to try more of the chicken salads and some of the other offerings as well like their pimento cheeses and egg salad! If you're a chicken salad fan like I am I definitely recommend you go as soon as possible. Also don't be intimidated by the long drive through line, it moves super fast! read more
