It is based on an American idea, of having footlongs- sandwiches that are a foot long. The sandwiches also come in half sizes (6 inches long) for those whose appetites aren't as large. The sandwiches range from traditional ham or turkey, through to American style again- meatball is my favourite! They have large meatballs in a lovely tomato sauce. They also have choices in which bread you have, and you decide what you want from a large range of salad, sauces, etc. All sandwiches are freshly made in front of you. This store has large sofas and seating inside, but does get full very quickly. Definately worth a visit.

They offer fantastic sandwiches in a variety of breads including doorstep bread. They also offer their own quiches and snacks and home made soup of the day which are always delicious. My favorite for quite some time was their chicken and tarragon mayo which I have tried to recreate at home without success! The sandwiches are really nicely wrapped in paper aswell rather than the usual plastic cases. Yum is all I can say!

Knowing that there is late night shopping, you would have thought that they would have extra staff off. After ordering and getting my food, we proceeded upstairs as the ground level was full. The seating area wasn't that clean. There was ground on grime on the table. There were quite a few tables which hadn't been cleared and were like that for a good 10 minutes or so. Not good for a busy Thursday evening. Having decided to get a mcflurry, I was surprised that the chocolate and caramel hadn't been mixed together like they usually do. All of the filling was on the top. I've since tweeted McDonald's UK who have asked for which restaurant it is, so hopefully, this was just a one off. Being a McDonald's, I don't expect the world, just decent service in a clean environment, which they (the franchisee) failed to deliver

The food has a good quality based on price paid. A great variety for an uncomplicated menu. They also offer good options for meal deals. The food was fine but there was a long queue but the girl serving was so so slow…read more I am not impatient but seriously a sloth could be faster. It was like she was going in slow motion! She had no concept that there was a queue out of the door . I didn't want her to rush I just wanted her to go at an average pace. Lol . My friend and I lost the will to live and we were second in the queue!! I think the people at the end of the queue might need to bring tents to camp out overnight !!!
