I don't go to Chick-fil-A for breakfast usually so this was a change. The chicken biscuit was good but way too buttery and oily. The nuggets were good.

This location is located right across target in the same plaza. Drive thru has 2 lanes and orders are processed pretty quickly! Always great service, and location is pretty clean as it's new! They had runners deliver food to your car in case your order is done before the cars ahead.

    Receipt sauces

You guys never check the fucken receipt for anything always missing sauces we choose. Do your jobs right

The food tasted freshly cooked. Drive thru was relatively fast. Staff are nice and respectful. Criss cut fries was on the salty side. They're generous in giving us sauces.

    half empty mac and cheese

really? they filled my mac and cheese half way. they put way less but don't charge way less. isn't that first time either, stop shorting your customers. will not be returning, do better

    Super tasty and great service.

Honestly great service from the lovely employees, Shane and Kylie. They even congratulated me on my academic achievements. They were very nice.

I arrived on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. Dave's Hot Chicken is located in the nice Village Oaks Plaza off Cottle Road in South San Jose. Plenty of parking is accessible in the large parking lot all around. The restaurant has a vibrant modern decor with bright fun graffiti plastered all around the walls. It is spacious with plenty of tables inside for dining. I wanted to try a bit of everything so I ordered Dave's meal #3 which consisted of 1 tender, 1 slider, 1 slice of bread, pickles, and a side of Dave's sauce. I selected mild heat level. Everything was delicious. The tender was moist and flavorful. The slider was scrumptious with every bite. Fries were crispy and salted just right. Dave's sauce worked perfectly with everything. Overall I enjoyed my experience at Dave's Hot Chicken. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was family friendly and welcoming. Opening until late night hours is convenient. I will be back to try the other menu options.

This place has been on my list for a while now…read more I called for a to-go order on 4/12/26 and got the Kao Gai Sap and fried chicken skins. When I came by, there wasn't really any other patrons there so picking up my food was easy. Inside was very decorative too, it has that mom-and-pop vibe to it. Kao Gai Sap (5/5) - The chicken was soft and juicy on the inside, and crispy on the outside. It came with a chili dipping sauce, and I opted for white rice instead of chicken rice. This has to be by far the BEST chicken I've ever had. The chicken was seasoned to perfection. Cucumber was crisp and refreshing, although I do wish there were a few more slices. Would definitely order this again. Also, this Kao Gai Sap also came with a small portion of soup which was also equally as good! When you order this, make sure to ask for it LAAB STYLE! Crispy chicken skin (5/5) - I mean it's fried chicken skin, but I'm pretty sure they used the same salt/pepper seasoning on this as they did with the Kao Gai Sap, which gave it a nice flavor profile as opposed to being plain. The lemon-pepper dipping sauce was the perfect pairing with the chicken skin. The lemon flavor was there as well as the pepper, but both were very mild and didn't overpower each other. That dipping sauce made a HUGE difference. ALSO GET THIS LAAB STYLE! Will definitely be coming back because I'm hooked now. No one does chicken like Tuk Tuk!

I remember the fries being good too but the chicken sandwich stole the show. We go out of our way to stop by when we're in the area. Service is always friendly and food is always made fresh. They use a chicken thigh rather than a breast which makes it very juicy, and the batter is crisp and fried perfectly. Very casual atmosphere... it's basically just a pickup window with a seating area nearby which is shared by several restaurants. Other things to know: Seating can fill up quickly, be prepared to possibly eat in your car. Hours are limited ( check their hrs online before visiting). Parking is limited to steet parking and the spots aren't many. Apparently, they can shut down or close without any warning ( we showed up once after a 15 mile hike only to be turned away by a sign that said, "Closed due to an Event". We could have cried. This Chicken sandwich is just that good. Highly recommend.

It took five minutes to be ready, and service was standard and sufficient. The chubby's sauce was a bit sour for my taste, and the ranch was fine, better than hidden valley brand. The chicken was tasty and spicy for me (even though I only selected mild), but it was thick and not as tender as I would have liked. I also would have preferred just a single slider, but the truck menu was not consistent with the online menu. That said, I had a positive experience.

I believe Jojo's Kooser road customers haven't found their new home. Third, some thoughts on the location. It's clean but utilitarian and basic. I'd love to see it get a little soul and perhaps provide more of a nod to the food truck past. Maybe also expand the menu with the larger kitchen? And first we were alarmed because we could see no one was in the establishment... maybe not a good sign. But when we walked in, we noticed one of the employees diligently wiping down all of the tables - and the entire place was sparkling clean. She stopped what she was doing and greeted us behind the counter. We were mulling over the four simple menu choices, and she steered us to splitting one. We decided on the Number #1 - sliders - Hot spice level cause I like it hot. When our food was ready, we were shocked, and I do mean, shocked, to find they had split the meal for us. Two different trays, two different plates of fries and one slider each. I'm not sure I've ever experienced that at a fast food restaurant, or even a semi casual dining place without specifically asking. Nice touch customer service wise! To be honest, I wasn't expecting much as far as the food goes. After all, it's chicken and it's semi-fast food chicken. I couldn't have been more wrong. The generous, all white meat tender on the slider was perfectly moist and delicious! The Hot level of seasoning was perfect for me, but a little much for my husband. I think they spell it out correctly on their menu board... Hot-feel the burn, Medium - perfect heat. The coleslaw and the pickles on the slider were a perfect cooling accompaniment. I'm pretty picky about my coleslaw and theirs was very good. The special sauce on the side also added some Yum factor. The fries were hot, crispy, and delicious. Overall, this was so much better than I was expecting. Besides the food being really good, the employee who was cleaning when we walked in and then helping us from behind the counter was absolutely delightful.
