It was around 2pm but must have been a large lunch crowd, usually doesn't take this long. Mistake 2 was waiting in the long line. I could have changed my pickup method and went inside. I ordered strips, fries and lemonade. Ordering ahead did not help in this case. They also had only one lane available for pickup but two lanes for ordering. Chick-fil-A Humble has always been on my fast-food bookmark. I came here to pick up dinner for my handicapped friend who lives nearby. We ordered the Cobb salad online. There was an option to upgrade for more chicken nuggets. I literally took it as a side order of chicken nuggets. In reality it was extra chicken nuggets topping. I was a little perplexed. So, I ordered a side order of chicken nuggets. Now I realized, that's a lot of chicken. I then ordered a Sunjoy (half lemonade and half tea) while I waited for additional food to be ready. I hadn't been to Chick-fil-A in several weeks, and let me tell you, it was so good! I ordered one of my favorites: my little creation - the Kale Crunch Salad with roasted almonds, topped with 5 piece grilled chicken nuggets and about half a packet of Chick-fil-A sauce. So yummy! I added a side of their classic waffle fries, and it was the perfect combo. The service was really fast, and everyone was so kind. I got it to go, and it still tasted fresh and delicious. I've been looking forward to trying the New Mac and Cheese that I've been seeing on all the ads lately so I came to this location at lunch time. I was very disappointed. The advertising shows a perfect bowl of M&C with a nicely browned top and lots of bubbly cheese sauce. The picture below is the one I was presented. The sauce was thick and dry and had a kind of powdery-chalky texture; definitely not creamy. There was no crusty top though there were little pieces of cheese crust mixed in throughout the pasta and pasty cheese concrete. I had the impression that this dish had been made several days ago and had just been warmed up. Honestly, I would have rather had a box of Velveeta Shells and Cheese. Thank you Chick-fil-A for presenting an exceptionally poor version of M&C that was way below my expectations. The customer service here is GREAT!!! Why can't all fast food joints be like this? I ordered 60 mini sandwiches for work and I was able to pick it up right on time with no problems. Yet another quality CFA location in Houston. Honestly, I can't say I've been to a bad one but this one is staffed with extremely friendly people and they've seemed to be very efficient each time I've been here. The food is always freshly made and as tasty as you'd want. We've ordered for several folks at once and our order had never been wrong or missing anything.The interior is kept pretty clean and that makes it even better. *IF* there is a single complaint it would be that it may not be the best place to stop in when you're in a rush and if that's during peak hours. Like many other CFAs, this is a busy location and being just off Beltway 8 and Wilson Road means you have lots of folks accessing this CFA. I called the restaurant immediately and was placed on hold for 15 mins for no one to come back to the phone. So, we are at the Grater Houston First Tee, the Drive, Chip and Put the PGA puts on a week before the Houston Open. Supporting the effort and schools, I look around and see the "Cow", yep Chick-fil-A is here.... I am only going to say thanks, I think this is the store as it's closest to the course. The Manager and effort they put fourth was awesome. The kids loved it and I am sure it was no small feat to deliver all that food. A fast food restaurant that is just chicken? Well this is what this is and I have to say it's not too bad. Even though we got there about dinner time it still seems quite busy. We ordered our food which seemed easy enough. We ordered it to go and a short time later we had all our stuff. We picked up some napkins and condiments off to the side. They also have ketchup and mustard and everything you could think of to dress up whatever chicken you bought. They even have forks and knives available. But they didn't have spoons which I thought was curious because we did order soup. The chicken soup was quite good actually. It was very tasty and well seasoned. We also ordered the spicy chicken sandwich which was adequate. It was not very spicy but it fit the bill. The Criss-cut fries were completely unseasoned and we could have done without them. They forgot to provide the dressing packet for the salad my cohort purchased. The chicken nuggets are very tiny, but they were quite flavorful and I want some more.
