    Chick-fil-A Deluxe Sandwich
    Orion M.

Some how got lucky and went on a day that wasn't too busy with not having to set up a tent to wait to order. Overall I feel like Chick-fil-A in itself is hyped up and overrated. Definitely not worth the wait for anything out of the ordinary. I do give kudos to the fast that they are the last fast food restaurant to actually offer a grilled chicken option (even in nugget form) while all the others have pulled theirs versions of a healthier option off their menus. Everyone that we encountered were friendly though. The highlights were the waffle fries and the grilled nuggets but the chicken sandwich with cheese tasted off with the choice of cheese put on it. Might get a craving for it but definitely not sacrificing the time to sit in line for it if I see they are backed up as always.

Finally! This is a new Chick-fil-A and it's been so busy you couldn't get near it. When we drove by I noticed that it wasn't as busy as usual so we gave it a try. We went inside and it wasn't busy at all. It's a cute place and decorated nicely in red and white. We also found out they serve breakfast! I had no idea and can't wait to try one of the breakfast sandwiches...they look good. I ordered the nuggets and fries. Hubby ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and fries. They were both delicious! They are the best nuggets I've ever had at a fast food place. Hubby is not a big chicken fan, but he really enjoyed the sandwich. We both loved the waffle fries! They also serve Coke products which we like. Food came out fast and hot. The service was cheerful too. It was a wonderful lunch. I'm so happy we finally got to eat here. Welcome Chick-fil-A to Edwardsville! So happy you are here!

Been there four times ordered grilled chicken sandwiches. They came out cold all four times. Very poor service would not recommend.

I mean it's Chick-fil-a and it's going to be consistent. They are still ironing out some wrinkles as they just opened a couple weeks ago.

As we sat done we found that ketchup was smeared under the corner of the table and it got all over my wife's blouse and pants as she sat down. She had to go to the bathroom to wash it all off. We ordered our food. Asked for a side of strawberries for our grandson. It was on the menu. It was only 2 berries cut up. Really! My wife ordered the Tom's Sole. Her favorite dish. It came out still half done, soggy in the middle and cold from probably being frozen. It also wasn't crunchy on top like usual either. So she asked politely to the server to have it done more. Upon return a manager brought it over and said that it had originally been done to spec in the kitchen. We were surprised that he was saying this since we didn't make any kind of scene. In fact he made a point of saying it several times as if to try and embarrass us. Not what we felt was good customer service.

My husband and i love the nachos from 54th. We went during happy hour, and man do you get the best bang for your buck. For a whopping $9.00 you get a huge plate of nachos. If nachos aren't your jam, then you can choose from a variety of other happy hour bites within the same price range. The nachos were good, plenty of cheese and other toppings, even had some left over. Service was good. We were seated right away, and even asked what our seating preference was. We opted for a booth. Our server was polite, and attentive. The inside was clean and parking was plentiful. **Be sure if you are dining on the happy hour menu, you purchase a drink. Whether it's alcoholic or non alcoholic. **

I ordered online and picked up my order to-go. The good news is the wings were ready quickly and also super crispy which is always pleasant and what you want out of a wing. The slightly bad news is the wings are *very* lightly sauced. There was an option to pay an extra 0.50 for extra sauce, but I decided to see what their baseline was since it was my first time ordering. In the future, if you like a sauced wing at all, I would pay the extra. I got the buffalo (one flame symbol) and the Nashville Hot (three flame symbols) which I felt was accurate. The buffalo was not really hot at all, just the buffalo-flavored sauce and the Nashville Hot was warm enough to leave your lips a little tingly, but not so hot that you couldn't enjoy the flavor. My interaction with the staff was brief but pleasant. I would love to come back and try their loaded fries which look delicious, but didn't trust I could get them home before they got cold and soggy. So next time I'm there for dine-in, I'll give those a try. If you're a wing snob, it's worth a visit!
