Good adult:kids ratio.Rose and Mary (of the baby room) are ROCK STARS and we love them. Our current teachers would send the parents pictures via emails regularly (totally above and beyond being professional) which totally brightens up my day. A lot of the staff (even some teachers from other classes) would greet my little one by name and I feel like they really care. I'm a bit surprised to hear about negative first impression, maybe the time of the visit was during peak drop-off/pick-up time and understandably hectic. Some of the staff speak with accents and may sound harsher than intended. Overall I trust my child is safe and well cared for, which makes returning to work full time much easier than I anticipated.

This school really puts the kids first and the activities they plan are very thoughtful, educational, and great life lessons. Our daughter has had exposure to climbing trees, learning about composting, gardening, learning about bugs in the woods, sharing, listening, respecting rules, etc. We have seen our daughter really flourish since attending the school from developing her physical strength and balance (because they are outside a lot and doing so many activities) to being curious about things that are around them (learning about gardening, plants, bugs, etc.) and making friends and developing a deep bond with them. They have so much activities and it changes with the season. And we cannot say enough about the staff, they are thoughtful, flexible, and so receptive to feedback. We are so lucky to have our daughter in this school. Thank you Ms. Jessica for creating this school!

She was most impressed with the app Kew used to send ongoing updates throughout the day with photos to boot. The teachers were very engaged and the kids were having such fun. If your little one loves the outdoors, this nature school is a sure thing. Keep up the great work. Your 'nature' imagination is awesome.

As you know, this is huge for little ones but even more important to a child who may need speech therapy. My children needed prompting to talk and we saw many other schools that barely engaged at all with the students! Little Meadows is very hands on. They have several therapists on location (OT, PT, ST, and even a psychologist). They have weekly workshops that you can attend. All of the therapists I've encountered here do great work and always give me time if I need to chat about my boys' therapeutic progress. (By the way, CPSE doesn't cover feeding therapy. My children needed it badly and the speech therapist was kind enough to accommodate us. Going above & beyond their call was something I wasn't expecting but I appreciated it immensely!!) They offer half day & full day classes. They offer integrated classes that are split between community children and children with mild special needs. I'm not positive, but I believe they also offer classes for children with more severe special needs. Their playground is large, safe, and private for their own use. They have a gym to play in for rainy/snowy days. Knowing that the school is located in a safe neighborhood is also good to know because the children WILL go on neighborhood walks throughout the year. Parent involvement is often encouraged. Hands down, the best pre-k school I have visited in Queens.

They make sure to reach out to parents regularly about your child's progress. They have an amazing program for children with disabilities and the therapy facilities are amazing!!! As a mother of a child with autism and other related disabilities, she has shown great improvement because of her time at Little Meadows. She was almost non-verbal before attending and after two years, she is talking up a storm with immense confidence and has so many new friends. I would definitely recommend this school to every parent looking for a truly enriching program for their children.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Ms. Sammi and the amazing team at Little Genius. I…read morefirst met Ms. Sammi when I was searching for a 3-K program for my son. We felt incredibly lucky to secure a spot, as Little Genius is such a highly sought-after program--and it truly lived up to its reputation. My son absolutely loved his time there. A few years later, we were fortunate enough to enroll our daughter shortly after she turned one. We had complete peace of mind knowing she was in such caring and capable hands under Ms. Sammi's guidance. She has learned so much and genuinely enjoys going to school each day. I always looked forward to the weekly projects she proudly brought home, as well as the festive Christmas performances. Ms. Sammi does an exceptional job communicating with parents, often sharing sweet moments and photos that brighten my day. It's clear how much love, attention, and dedication she and her team give to each child. It's hard to believe that three years have already flown by and that my daughter will soon be graduating. I'm confident she is more than ready for pre-K and will continue to thrive. While it's bittersweet that we won't be seeing the wonderful staff at Little Genius every day, I'm sure we'll stay in touch. We are so grateful for the care, support, and love shown to our children--it truly means everything to our family.

His teachers are so caring and provide great feedback on his achievements and areas the need improvement. They take feedback and are willing to work on areas that we would like them to focus on if we see any areas that they can help us with. Our son has made amazing friends, which is a testament of the kind of families that are in our neighborhood and even a few who travel a little further just to come to this specific location. We couldnt be happier with our decision to change schools to this location and to remain another year. As parents who really believe in a well rounded experience including education, art, sports, and more, we certainly get what we want to offer our child.

Every single adult who works at this school is amazing and caring. The director walks the hall every morning greeting the students, all of whom know him by name. The teachers were carefully hired and clearly love their students. My daughter had a tough time adjusting to school - the teachers were patient and caring and provided enough support to get her through those rough times. The director was encouraging and after a pretty difficult separation one morning told me to call him when I got to work so that he would Skype me to see my daughter and make sure she was doing well. This is the type of family you wish you could leave your children with. This place provides quality UPK using a play based and hands on approach to learning. This is rare in an age where academics with heavily on education. Our Savior ignited my daughter's curiosity. There was no pressure on her to learn to read for example; as a matter of fact there were no lessons at all. So I was pleasantly surprised when she picked up a book one day and simply started reading! She was learning through play, which is how all children should learn. I am devastated that the year is winding down to a close, but feel fortunate and blessed that we found a place that really helped my daughter grow. We will always have fond memories and I look forward to sending my second daughter there when it's time for prek!
