They have salads and açaí bowls. Thats it. No gluten free pastries. Small town coffee shop that looks like it's in a struggling town. We chose it to support local. Probably would not go back. Late was all foam and coffee was pretty weak. Waited over 30 mins for 2 drinks.

I've tried a decent amount of their menu items and everything has always been delicious and filling. Highly recommend the beet and goat cheese salad as well as the chicken salad sandwich! Two of my all time favorites. The service was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. My biggest complaint? The place is not clean. Every table that was open was dirty. Trash on the floor and under tables. I had to get some napkins wet at the water dispenser and wipe the table down myself, and it was not that busy. Went to use the restroom to wash my hands after cleaning the table and there was no toilet paper OR paper towels in the women's restroom. Had to use the men's to wash my hands. Really disappointed in this experience honestly. When a restaurant is dirty in the seating area, it makes me wonder about the state of the kitchen.

The waffle was good. It reminded me of a beer bread batter + a little sweet. It was a bit doughy like it wasn't cooked all the way. We still enjoyed it. The matcha mix they use is pre sweetened. Farmhouse Kitchen & Bakery is a local restaurant that serves breakfast/brunch, lunch, and dinner…read more My husband and I ate one breakfast here. An employee greeted us and said that we could sit at whatever table we preferred. The menu listed foods such as avocado toast, hashes, omelets, pancakes, waffles, French toasts, salads, sandwiches, non-alcoholic beverages, and more. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Strawberry French toast - 4.5 stars - The slices of French toast were made from Challah bread dipped in cinnamon and vanilla and were a good-sized serving. They were topped with strawberries and whipped cream. On the side was syrup. Bacon - 5 stars - We each ordered this side of bacon. The slices of bacon were thick and crispy. You may order non-crispy bacon if you want. Sausage Gravy & Biscuit - 3 stars - My husband took only a couple of bites, and the rest was thrown away. The biscuits were thin, the gravy was thin and "flavorless," and not much sausage was included. He described this entree as "bad," and I thought that it tasted OK. On the side were hash browns that he said were probably purchased and not made in-house. Orange juice - 4.5 stars - Fresh and not overly pulpy The total price was $28 plus a cash tip.

I had several hours to kill, so I decided to head down to Claysville to try this place. I saw on Yelp that it got great reviews, which is why I decided to make the drive. I also like to support small town, family owned businesses. It was easy to find street parking outside. I walked in to find a few empty tables and grabbed a seat. After a little wait, someone did come over to bring me a menu, silverware and take my drink order. I opted to order the farmhouse hash, sans avocado. I added a side of toast and ordered a coffee to drink. As I sat there waiting for my food and then while I ate, the place filled up. It's a small place inside but has decent seating. To me, the coffee was a little watered down, too weak, but not awful. When my food came out, it was a huge serving and it was delicious. I thought to myself, I'll never finish this, but then because it was so good, I did. I ordered my eggs over easy and they were cooked perfect. The hash had a ton of chopped bacon in it, as well as perfectly cooked potatoes, onions, peppers and cheese. If you are looking for a new breakfast spot, I would suggest you give this small town spot a chance.
