The food is great and the vibe is very relaxing and family friendly. I love the dessert pizza, it is the best thing there.

Poor service sat 45 mins for a lasagna and a salad. No one checked on us to see if we needed anything. Wouldn't recommend

The best gourmet pizza in town. We love the Buffalo Chicken Pizza!! Always fast service, great food, and a large selection to choose from.

I really hate to be negative, but, the pizza here is lousy. None of the ingredients really stand out, very bland and forgettable

“Really nice selection for a smaller pizza joint and the pizza was above average as far as what you'd usually see on a pizza buffet.”

Thought had already reviewed this restaurant. We had been there at least four times since it opened…read morea couple years ago. The salads are one of the best parts and the lobster ravioli are sublime, but pricey. Otherwise, they have combination plates that are very reasonable and no more than what you'd pay it somewhere like the chain Olive Garden. I love the ambience -- it's in an "improving" part of town but once you step inside, it's charming.

We were in Bowling Green to visit Beech Bend and we wanted some Italian food. We saw Cafe Italia…read morewas highly rated on both Google and Yelp, so we decided to come here. I started with a soup, while my brother started with a salad. They were served with these garlic rolls, which were absolutely delicious to eat both alone and with the soup. Then came time for the entrees. I got the Sausage and Pepper Parmigiana, while my brother got the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. My Sausage and Pepper Parmigiana had a delicious mix of flavor and spice which I enjoyed every bite of, while my brother enjoyed his Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. Additionally, we had thought from looking online that this would be one of our pricier meals out, but Cafe Italia actually ended up being a great value, as our meals included a soup or salad and rolls, and the portions were so generous, I needed to pack some of my entree away to eat in the morning. In short, we wholeheartly recommend Cafe Italia, both because the food is excellent but also because the portions are so large they are an excellent value. We are glad we chose to go here and would definitely come back here if in the area again.

We wanted Italian. And this looked like the place to go with all five star reviews…read more First the parking. There is a lot of free parking in the adjacent Stadium Park Plaza garage. It's a bit confusing to find the restaurant though from there, as there is no access from the first floor. But from the 2nd and 3rd floor there is access using the elevator. The bulb in the elevator area needs to be replaced because it's burned out, and all dark like a scene from a horror movie. The restaurant faces the ballpark stadium Inside the restaurant there weren't many customers on a weekday for dinner. It was our waitresses second day and she messed up quite a lot. Like the bill/check had us all ordering drinks and extra meat with our pasta, but we didn't do any of that. But she was nice about it all, and even comp'd us a $5 beer which I pointed out to her that she didn't add to the bill yet (that being the one and only omission in the midst of all the wrong add-ons). The fried calamari appetizer was good. Only the rings. No arms. The pomodoro sauce was nice. But overall it was just an average dish and much better at other places. The New York strip was good. But they didn't have asparagus. That would be ok if not for the fact that they only have 3 sides to choose from: roasted potatoes, rice, and asparagus. So it was either double potatoes or the rice. So we got the rice. And it was super boring, and tasted overcooked and chewy. The steak and potatoes were good though. The kid's Alfredo was good too. But the carbonara was kinda bland. The waitress and said it was a white sauce but upon checking it was butter sauce she told us. But it was really not worth it. The complimentary bread they served with the meal tasted like pretzel bread. Kinda hard and chewy. But hot. It was good. It comes with olive oil for dipping. Over $100 for 3 people. It was kinda steep. And add to that a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. Well that really was like salt in the wound. Is all of bowling green like that with credit surcharges? Sure hope not.

We stopped for drinks and dessert. Yummy. The crème brûlée was creamy and the topping was…read moretoasted just like it should be and it was so good we ordered a tiramisu to go. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back for dinner sometime. We sat outside and there was a concert at the farmers market next door. So it was really good evening.

I just needed a good comfort food meal and to get away and clear my head…read more Wow, what a great experience here from the focaccia bread with dipping oil to the wedge salad. It was really good. Most places give one big wedge. They do three small wedges here that way you don't get a bunch of lettuce at the bottom and no toppings. The Bruschetta bread was really good. I did the Pick two shrimp scampi with a kicked in up sauce and the other one was scallops with apples and a honey glaze with some crumbles. Service is excellent here. Jordan is a great waiter and very prompt with refills and checking on me. The dining room atmosphere is nice and quiet and charming. Not too busy for a Sunday afternoon.

So loud it was difficult to carry on a conversation and so loud it spoiled to overall experience. Now to the food... the wedge salad was fantastic, the bread was hot and tasty but the entrée was less than satisfying. I asked for a cup of soup that came out with the entrée. The spaghetti and meatball entrée was hot but the meatballs were significantly overcooked. I had high expectations as the decor is very nice and the staff was approachable. I won't be back due to the issues mentioned above.
