The tavern stood as a stronghold of revelry--its keepers (whom lesser folk call "bartenders") were masters of their craft, pouring potions of courage and chaos with a generosity befitting kings. Each cup granted us new strength... and steadily stripped away what little sense we had left. Before long, we found ourselves summoned to the stage--a sacred ground where warriors become singers, and dignity is but a distant memory. Songs were bellowed with the fury of a dragon's roar. Notes were missed. Spirits were not. Though our memories falter like a torch in the wind, one truth remains carved in stone: the fellowship was strong, the laughter louder than thunder, and the hospitality unmatched in all the lands. To the noble stewards of Lord Stanley's--we salute you. Unfortunately, the service really missed the mark. I sat at the bar and watched the bartenders spend most of the time doing dishes without really looking around or checking if anyone needed anything, especially new guests coming in. After waiting, I finally got someone's attention and was told I was "third in line," which was a first for me at a bar. It's a cool place with a great vibe, but the service needs some attention. Get some people behind the bar who are engaged and actually care about taking care of guests.
