Very nice friendly service. You will be greeted as soon as you walk in. Which adds a nice touch, I…read moredon't recall another GNC as friendly as this one. This GNC is located on the border line of Gold Coast and River North. Not far from The Magnificent Mag Mile. I just wish that Streeterville had a location. Love cared inside a historic building. And it shares a tiny hallway (New York City feel and style) with Starbucks. This whole street is very Brooklyn Style even the basement. After all Chicago is also known as the Second City. It is quite small, but they do have pretty much about everything you need, if you do not find what you are looking for, they will take your info down and order it for fee of shipping. Can't beet that. I could just order online and pay the shipping, but since my wife and both enjoy the walk to this side of town, we prefer coming in and taking that stroll.

I love GNC and I always receive great customer service but I don't know what's going on at this…read moreplace. It is dead. I entered and the man running it did not even say hi. It is quiet, no music. Nothing. He just watched me. GNC sent me a $10 coupon for my bday and I he rejected it b/c it did not have the lines code thing. I get it but it was a real coupon and he could have entered the # and validate it. No. Incredibly rude man. I left. He grumbled when I left without finishing the purchase b/c the way he treated me was so bad, why buying from them? GNC needs to check this location. This person is horrible ambassador for the brand.

8/7.....I hate writing bad reviews…read more The non-manager , uninspired, irritated, 'what does the back of the bottle say?" , stocking clerk, not only couldn't convert 3400 mg to grams, but was deadpan uninformed about MCT pile versus Fish oil. Isn't there product training? My first and last time at a Vitamin Shoppe if all employees are not screened for curiosity and don't try to be more informed than a no-knowledge, health-ambitious customer.

I suppose in the end it turned out ok but it was still rather annoying…read more I needed some calcium supplements and it seems like most of the stores are out of them. Luckily, the Elston location had them so I placed an order for pickup. When I arrived, there were no parking spaces except for one for the Verizon next door. Since it was before 6 pm, I called the number in the email I received saying that you could call for curbside pickup. The guy I spoke with said that technically he wasn't allowed to bring it out... which was confusing since the email I got just a few hours prior saying that my order was ready for pickup said otherwise. So I asked about why it says they offer curbside pickup before 6 pm and after a moment the guy said he would bring it out. So like I said, turned out ok in the end. I'm one who thinks curbside should be here to stay--it makes things significantly easier for folks with disabilities, parents with little ones in the car, someone who can't find a place to park, or someone who just doesn't want to get out of their car--but if a place is going to offer it, it would be great if local shops didn't try to change the rules of it.
