If your experiences have been anything like mine, hiring a contractor to do ANYTHING includes three major phases to the battle: 1) obtain quotes from reputable companies, 2) select someone from thosequotes and 3) have selected company complete the job correctly. These guys made all three steps (pun intended) super easy and painless. When 1) I called for a quote I got a speedy but thorough response, when 2) we hired them bc their quote was easy to understand and a fair price and 3) when we hired them they sent an awesome crew that worked their tails off to complete the job. We also had a few minor imperfections which they quickly resolved. They didn't question 'why' we asked or debate they made sure we were happy. They didn't ask for the final payment until the HOA was 100% satisfied. What a positive experience it was working with these guys (Mike in office and Eddie the owner)! I'd highly recommend.

Eddie came out 15 minutes early to do look the place over and do measurements and came up with an estimate about 30% less than the competitors. I received an official contract proposal within 24 hours via email. Mike made sure to do a follow up to address any concerns and questions I had the day after I had received the emailed proposal. Contract was signed a few weeks later after I confirmed that E&B was licensed by the city. Work began close enough to the given estimated time frame (delayed 1 week due to daily severe thunderstorms) and job completion was a little under 4 weeks (there were a few days of thunderstorms that would've made it too dangerous to work). The work crew worked even during mid 90*F temperatures, much respect. Work entailed 5 lintel replacements, a entire front facade grind and tuckpoint with mortar matching closely to original with a 1 year warranty. Clean up was a power wash with masonry detergent. Throughout the process, any questions and concerns I had were promptly answered by Mike or Eddie within 2 hours of sending a text message or email. Customer service, communication and work is exemplary. I highly recommend.

Martin McDonagh is the scumbag associated with this "professional" company. Paid him $4K to level,…read morepower wash, sand, and seal my brick pavers in addition to some "repair" of driveway cracks and a couple of sidewalk cracks. I should have known he was an issue when he did not start work the day he promised. Both him and his adult son were messy and incompetent at even power washing with mud left on all my windows. The man used cement to repair all my cracks making everything look ten times worse! I later had to spend more money to dissolve the cement and managed to fill the cracks myself. Within a week weeds were all growing on my patio and after a rain the sand had washed away. The year prior my husband had attempted to do the same job and used the correct polymeric sand. The weeds were pretty much at bay after and Martin ruined it further!!He came back to "address" the weeds only to use bleach and add more sand to the pavers which apparently play sand was used. Who as a professional would use play sand for pavers? Since the sand washed away so easily it was apparent he never sealed anything. He then started to ignore my calls and I had to hire another company to do the correct job. This man scammed me for 4K! This address is not even a business, it's a storage unit in Chicago. Now he is operating out of Aurora and that is a big joke because the address there is at an apartment building. Do not trust this company, do not contact this scam artist.
