We have absolutely no regrets. We kicked things off with Korean mandu (dumplings) -- absolutely fantastic! Then came the spicy BBQ chicken, which really took us by surprise with its bold, delicious flavor. The bulgogi beef and galbi gui (boneless ribs) were cooked right at the table, which added a fun and reassuring touch of freshness. The taste was excellent, and all the accompanying sauces complemented the dishes beautifully. We left full and happy with all our choices. The restaurant itself was cozy, nicely decorated, and the service met all expectations. If you are going to use the name of a classic Korean dish, at least serve something vaguely close to it. To make it worse, they told me KBBQ required ordering for 2 people minimum, so I was forced to buy two portions of this lie. That policy is already obnoxious, but it feels even worse when the food itself is misrepresented. And then the Korean pancakes came served with cream cheese. Very authentic. Nothing says traditional Korean food quite like random cream cheese slapped onto dishes that do not call for it. Overall, this place felt overpriced, misleading, and gimmicky. After entering you find two areas to sit: One is with chairs and tables and the other one is a room with tatami mat and small tables where you can sit on cushion on the floor. But don't forget to take off your shoes first! The owner is just adorable. I love her and all the other staff. If you have any question or are new into Korean food don't be shy and ask instead! The waiter will gladly explain you everything. The menu is quite big compared to the size of the restaurant itself. You can choose between several starters such as mandu or kimbap. As main course they have 4 different bibimbap dishes, several bulbogi meals, soups and udon. You should also check out their tea card! At my first visit we had the udon noodles, kimbap, mandu, seafood soup and some extra kimchi. The price for the starters are really fair. The mandu are handmade as far as I can judge and the kimbap plate is quite big for 4€. The main dishes on the other hand are a bit too small for my taste but super delicious. The only thing I didn't like was the small amount of side dishes. On my second visit I went for bibimbap and mandu. Again... the bibimbap was super nice but a tiny bit too small. I ordered extra kimbap after finishing my bowl. Even though I'm a fan of big bowls I still love shikgoo. Maybe I just had the wrong dishes or a huge stomach. Who knows. Fact is: I've been here twice and I'll definitely come back!

It was just like my mom used to make. I'm Korean, and my mom is a bomb cook so you can trust me. The service is excellent, and the owner is incredibly friendly. He seems to be a native Berliner from what I could tell. The restaurant is a bit on the small side, and yet, the ambiance is excellent. The decor is really well done (check out the pictures). It's perfect for a casual meal but could also work for a date. I'm definitely going to be coming back for the kimchi jjigae (highly recommended!).

The side pickles were old and the salad into which you are supposed to wrap the meat had signs of rot. We ordered 2 additional side dishes - the soups and eierstich (egg omlets) that were ok. The service and the quantity of food were ok and prices would be fair if the vegetable would be fresh. I do recommend the korean rice beer (Mageolli). It costs 6.90€ for 0.7l and is an interesting compliment to the food.
