The staff is very friendly, and made sure my daughter was never worried or scared of what was happening. They talked her through the entire process and came out once she was asleep to tell us that she did fine. The recovery nurse was a little cold, and it seemed like she was trying to rush us out the door before our daughter was fully awake and pain free. I had to keep asking if it was ok to stay a few more minutes, she seemed annoyed but allowed us to stay. Overall it was fine. As a parent you just have to advocate for your child, in all scenarios.

Make sure you leave home early. When we arrived the facility was clean and check in was organized. We were told to arrive by 8:15 then we waited for awhile since it was very busy. Several doctors were there so that was why it was so busy. They finally called my son and we went back and there were televisions in every waiting area. They were showing Disney movies. The nursing staff was friendly and put my son at ease by explaining every step. They give children giggle juice to get them to relax. Of course each child responds differently. Some were crying and others were relaxed. After surgery they will have you wait while they wake up your child. You are give a Popsicle and water to hydrate the child. This was the most difficult part because all the children were in shock. Mine was screaming uncontrollably. The nurse went over the assigned at home instructions and answered any questions we had. The we waited for the doctor to release us. Overall the experience was good. I could not give 5 stars because they only hand write prescriptions. This was a challenge because the center was so far from our house we had to wait on the pharmacy to fill the prescription. So make sure you have pain meds at home in case you have to wait.

She helped us to set a plan in place with necessary referrals and lab work to get my mamas health back on track after allowing certain things to lapse. Everyone in the clinic was friendly and professional and we appreciated the cleanliness of the establishment. My mother is such a hard stick sometimes with bloodwork and (I can't remember the phlebotomist I believe) name, but he had such good energy and was very friendly which took away from the stress of the experience. Having learned to be my own advocate for health care, I am extremely particular about who I trust to take care of me. In my experience, if Dr. Furman doesn't specialize in what he feels may be ailing you, he will refer you to a specialist that may be able instead of giving you a bogus answer or blowing you off. Also, his practice offers an after hours/weekend clinic that staffed on a rotation basis but he is there at least one night a week. She was so patient and thorough during my first check-up. She had a laptop with her in the exam room and entered everything in right then. She made sure she had all the information about any and all physical complaints I had. She listened patiently and I didn't feel rushed at all. She offered suggestions for all my problems and printed out a list of everything for me so I didn't have to try to remember. She was very kind but down-to-earth and pragmatic. She asked my opinion about how I wanted to pursue treatment and I felt like I was in control of the decisions. She seems genuinely concerned about my progress and even calls me at home to check up on me. And the best part is that she doesn't make me wait or if she does she is sincerely apologetic. The office is clean and modern and the receptionists are happy and friendly. It's easy to make and appointment and their website allows you to email your doctor with questions. We started going to her practice on Park Lane years ago, and started out with a Dr who was working there. When that Dr left the practice, we started seeing Dr Clifford. It was a refreshing change in what a well visit or sick visit really looked like. Dr Clifford is always friendly and energetic, even when are the last appointment of the day. She asks a lot of questions, and allows additional questions. I have never left the office feeling that I should have asked her this or that - while I was in the visit with her. My son turned 18 this month, and I am sad they he will start seeing a PCP soon - it's difficult to find a pediatrician or general practice physician who is caring and thorough and follows up when they say they will !! Dr Clifford is all of these things !! I have been going to her for the last 11-12 years and I wouldn't change a thing !! Everyone in the office is genuinely cordial and welcoming - even if I am coming in with a sick child !! Dr Clifford has a range of information at her disposal that she shares with us, and I feel better knowing that she will research a topic that is new or important to our child's situation/ illness. I like that she has a history of my children and their shot records etc. I have referred her services to many new families moving into the area. I feel that she is one of the best, caring pediatricians in the Dallas/ Fort Worth metroplex.

That in my book is a heck of a service of above and beyond! Dr. Clifford is extremely focused and listens intently when presented with a sick kid. She asks lots of questions, completes her exam and decides on a course of action. She has been correct every time. Dr. Clifford takes her time during the examinations to ensure she has covered everything, and you never feel rushed. She also asks at the end of the exam if she has covered all issues. Dr. Clifford has truly gone the extra mile on more than one occasion when my kids needed referrals to specialists. It is an absolute pleasure dealing with her and her office staff.
