Onion, bell peppers and olive pizza

Love Chi Chi's pizza! It's not overly sauced which is my preference. We were seated quickly but the service itself was slow. It's fine. Our waiter was working a lot of tables and it looked like they could've been short staffed. He was nice though & attentive when he could be. The place itself is cramped and loud, something you'd expect with a family friendly pizzeria. Not a dealbreaker. My kid's loud so he fit right in. I recommend if you're in the SCV area.

Salad to go size Large.

Date: 9/6/26: We have been going to Chi chi's for years and I have never had this experience before. We ordered takeout got one large cheese pizza, and one large salad to go which is the Italian green salad. When we open the salad, we noticed that the container was just as big as my adult female hand. I was a little confused because it was barely filled with salad. And I checked the receipt and we in fact paid just under $17 for a large salad (and this is the one that doesn't have any meat in it or cheese). I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, Javier. He asked me to pretty much go in the trash to get the container that the salad came in and read him the numbers off the bottom and then text him the numbers off the bottom. (It has been 20 min since I called and he said he would text me to reply back a picture and he never did. Maybe he's waiting for the restaurant to close) I have never had this kind of treatment before from a restaurant and this was after he in fact, verified that we paid for a large he proceeded to not believe us and wanted proof of the size of the container, which is totally fine, but I was a little put off because I never really heard of a business asking this. I then asked him if he gets lied to often because we were talking about a $17 salad, not some huge filet mignon steak. He said he, gets "lied to about 10 times a day". What a life. Anyways this experience has really disturbed me. I don't know what happened to this business. Not sure if I'll be back. The first pic is of the salad bowl with a marker for size reference. The next is my receipt. I also told him that I would be commenting on Yelp regarding this experience and he was not phased one bit.

Since 1975 I've been coming here for their pizza, pasta, salads and broasted chicken. For the first time in 50 years I ordered the chicken Parmesan. It was delicious and I feel bad that I never had had it before. My wife and I shared it and a small and apostle salad and everything was terrific. Leticia was our server, and she was very good.

Ciabatta Chicken

After an absence of some 18 years since our first and only other visit to Chi Chi's, my wife suggested them for dinner tonight. That one prior visit was for takeout only and that was for a pizza which we thought had crust too thin for our liking. But one memory of Chi Chi's that has stayed with me all these years? Was a platter of their sizzling hot golden fried chicken as a waitress passed by with it, while we awaited our pizza. This was finally my chance to sample their Golden Pressure Fried Chicken, A La Carte; with Pressure Fried Potatoes and a Roll included. So that was my order to Raymon our server, as well as a lemonade. For her, it was a Ciabatta Chicken Sandwich. A very pleasant environment that has held up quite well through the years. Wait times can be a bit lengthy. But everything arrives piping hot and the large portion sizes help to justify the above average pricing. With half a chicken on my plate, I gladly shared. I finished two of my remaining pieces and saved one for lunch the following day. The verdict? Not bad, I must admit. Very well seasoned, almost on the verge of being overly. But okay. The pressured potatoes weren't bad either; I may have finished 1 1/2 of the I believe initial 4. While wifey just managed nearly half of her sandwich. Also lunch for tomorrow. Raymon was very responsive to our every request. And always with a delightful attitude. Even offering to refill my glass of lemonade. We could learn to put Chi Chi's in our mix. Why not? We've been regularly passing them by all these years, being that they're so close to home.

This is a large less four pieces

I've been coming to Piccola Trattoria for years, although I hadn't visited in quite some time…read more Coming back reminded me exactly why I fell in love with this restaurant in the first place. Graziella and her brother have created such a special dining experience. My favorite dish has always been the pistachio sauce ravioli. I didn't see it on the menu and mentioned how much I loved it, and Graziella was kind enough to make it for me anyway, explaining that it's now part of their rotating menu. That level of hospitality is rare and so appreciated. I usually never order ravioli as a main course anywhere else, but this dish is absolutely incredible and unlike any ravioli I've had. I was on a double date and convinced my friend to order the same dish because I couldn't stop talking about it. She absolutely loved it and understood immediately why it's my favorite. My fiancé and his cousin both ordered the lamb chops and couldn't stop raving about them. My fiancé substituted the seasonal vegetables for the arugula salad. He normally doesn't eat salad, but he finished the entire thing and said it was one of the best salads he's ever had. The dressing was amazing, and after trying it myself, I completely agreed. My fiancé's cousin, who I consider like a brother, was trying lamb chops for the first time and said he felt like he'd been missing out his whole life. I also ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita from the rotating cocktail menu and enjoyed it so much that I ordered a second one. The food was outstanding, but the atmosphere deserves recognition too. The patio is beautiful, romantic, and has such a relaxing ambiance. It was the perfect setting for a double date. After being away for a few years, I'm so glad I came back. The food, service, and hospitality were just as wonderful as I remembered. Piccola Trattoria remains one of my favorite restaurants, and I can't wait to return again soon.

I'm a regular customer at Bella Cucina, and I want to start by saying that we truly love this…read morerestaurant. It's one of our favorite places, and that's why I've been hesitant to bring this up. But something has been bothering me since last week, and I feel that the owner or management should be aware of it. The first time I noticed it was on a Friday night. I left a $26 cash tip on the table and paid my bill by credit card. As I was leaving, I saw one of the busgirls take the cash tip and put it directly into her pocket, while leaving the credit-card receipt/card situation on the table. At the time, I thought maybe there was some kind of tip-pooling system or restaurant policy that I didn't understand, so I didn't say anything. Then, when I returned the following week, I intentionally left a $30 cash tip and again paid by credit card. As I was walking toward the door, I turned around and saw the same employee do essentially the same thing--take the cash and put it into her pocket. At the time, one of the managers, who was also working as a waiter, was nearby on the phone. Maybe he was taking an order or handling something important, so I understand that he may not have noticed what happened. I've worked in the restaurant business myself, so I understand that every restaurant can have different procedures for handling tips, and there may be an explanation that I'm not aware of. But seeing what appeared to be the same thing happen twice made me uncomfortable. I'm not trying to cause trouble for anyone, and I certainly don't want to make an accusation without knowing the restaurant's policy. I simply believe management should be aware of what I observed and look into it. We really love Bella Cucina, and I want to continue coming there. That's exactly why I feel this should be addressed properly. I would rather bring the matter directly to the owner or management than simply walk away and say nothing. I believe the restaurant should make sure that all cash tips are handled according to its established policy and that customers can feel confident that their tips are being distributed appropriately. I don't know the employee's full name for certain. I believe I heard someone call her Esther, possibly "Tota," but I could be mistaken, so I would leave it to management to identify the employee based on the dates and circumstances
