The food puts them over the top. The cheddar burger is a tasty burger, but the fries. Oh these fries. They are so crispy, so salty, and almost pinched in the middle so they have a little curl. If you come to Parma you have to have prosciutto and you have to have Parmesan and that is exactly what I did. I ordered a warm panini with a huge amount of prosciutto and melted Parmesan. It was so simple yet so perfect. I accompanied it with a excellent glass of glass of the local sweet 'Malvasia Dolce. This was probably one of the best lunches I had in my entire Italy trip and also one of the cheapest. I finished it off with a tiramisu and an espresso.
