They were French speakers but were fluent in English. My accent amused them. I ordered a McKeown Cidre Pomme. Very nice and smooth. Didn't have that sharp tang that many ciders have. Going local I ordered the Poutine. Fries were covered in brown gravy with cheese curds. Amazing flavor. Don't know why we don't have this in Texas. We also ordered the charcuterie platter. Large amount of food for the price. Multiple selection of meats and cheeses. Great flavors and I highly recommend it especially for table sharing. Fantastic pub experience. The salmon was cooked perfectly and my mom also enjoyed her pork chop. We also ordered a side of Brussels sprouts which were super tasty too. The portions were surprisingly large so we couldn't finish everything. They had asked us to switch tables partway through dining to accompany a larger party, which was fine for us and they offered us a complimentary dessert for the trouble. Since we were stuffed, we took the dessert to go. It was a deconstructed dulce de leche cheesecake and it was rich and so tasty. Would definitely return!
