We each had the prix fix menu for under 20 euros, including an appetizer, main, and dessert. With wine and coffee, we spent just less than 60 euros for two - highly competitive in Chinon, where similar prix-fix menus go for between 30 and 40 euros per person. The quality and taste if the food was without reproach, and presented fresh and simple French cuisine at its best. The fish/ratatouille main is a must-try, as is the prawn/fish roulade.

Fries looked like they were cut in half, then in half, then again. Really why serve a bunch of broken potato pieces. When we came back at 7:30 half of the restaurant was already full but the owner gestured to a table which was reserved for us. I think what was most impressive is this restaurant is a one man show. The owner is both the chef and the server and is able to do everything for the restaurant at the same time. While we were dining, many locals stopped in to get to-go salads or tabbouleh which really shows that this is one of the best spots to go to in Le Mans. For food we ordered a charcuterie plate, gazpacho, vegetarian salad, and an aperetif. All the food was extremely delicious. My favorite was definitely the gazpacho which had the perfect amount of kick to it. I'd also never had melon with my salad with spices on top, the mixture of the sweet and savory was amazing. I will definitely be back here if we are in Le Mans again. The service we received was amazing, the food prices were reasonable, and the food was impeccably delicious.
