We had a lovely lunch at Chez Fred. This is a hotspot for local businessman/ women that come for a relaxing lunch. We did not have reservations so had to wait about a half an hour but ended up sitting outside on one of their terraces.

Scott ordered their shrimp starter dish that came with six prawns with heads on with a avocado salad. This was interesting but not exactly to his taste because avocado was mixed with cream.
His main entree was the steak tartare( egg, onion, parsley, capers...) that came with fries ( fantastic, hand cut) and a green salad which was delicious and large. I ordered the prefix lunch menu which was fantastic house smoke salmon gravelux with dill cream and green saladwith red peppercorns and fried shallots and baguette. It came with a
Large fresh fish dish that came with a barley and corn risotto topped with zucchini peppers and eggplant. This was fine but the salmon was the star! Dessert was a self serve chocolate mousse from a large pot which was simply delicious and espresso with a mini Madeline. Very lovely experience and a relaxing afternoon!!! read more
