If I had to be a bit nit-picky, I would say that even with the quality of the entire experience taken into account, the prices could have been a bit better. I think we spent about $60 per person and were still a little bit hungry after all was said and done.

My mom is gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, 100% olive oil... lots of dietary restrictions, and Damas accommodated for her so kindly! The staff were super kind and welcoming. My mom had come here once before, and the waitress remembered her by name and was incredibly gracious and patient as my mom explained her diet. As for the food, just WOW. The pomegranate salad was incredible, and we got the lamb, chicken, mushrooms... everything was so beautifully plated with vibrant colors and burst of many flavors. Each perfectly cooked. It's amazing how they can turn something as "simple" as mushrooms and chicken to be so incredibly delicious. We celebrated my mom's birthday here, and the ambiance was perfect for it. 10/10 would recommend this place, especially for anyone with allergies.

Damas - Kibbie Naya (lamb tartar) was really well spiced and very flavorful. Perfect firmness and texture.

My only qualm while dining in is that ventilation is not great. It gets quite Smokey inside so my eyes started to itch and water. The food is worth it!

Upon entering the restaurant, I'm instantly reminded of the late nights waiting at a halal cart in nyc after a night out. This restaurant itself is not the cleanest and rather chaotic on weekend nights. Theres usually a long line to order, but it moves rather quickly and efficiently. The staff members aren't the friendliest, but they get the job done LOL. You'll find a bunch of hungry and probably drunk people sitting at the cafeteria styled seats at night. The food is the main selling point here though. I've gotten the mixed platter and shawarma platter; both with generous servings of protein all doused in a flavorful sauce. Ordered the poutine recently and was also impressed how much they loaded the protein. It was a little on the saltier side and wished they had more cheese curds, but still pretty enjoyable. The fries were also more like small potato wedges. I've recommended this place countless times for almost any point of the day, but they especially hit the spot after a long night.

She was also on her way back home that day so we wanted to send her off with some good food memories. We needed spicy, vegetarian, and filling. The way I was googling, flipping through Eater. Woo - the pressure! Sumac was it because like who doesn't love falafel?? (If you don't, then be quiet and keep scrolling). We kept it simple with 3 pitas and a large order of spicy lamb fries without the lamb, but with the spice. I've never seen such huge pita in my life. Even at the very bottom there were still falafel. And the fries. I could cry. The pita was very soft and flavorful. The food was a work of art. Things: -chair and bench style seating. I was comfortable in the chair which is always a win. -service was excellent. You choose a seat then order at the counter. Someone clears your plates and mess. -they don't take AMEX
