The program is very popular so there are literally hundreds of kids that participate. We had no problem with the coaches, referees, facilities, or schedule when we participated the year before. My cautionary tale is to be sure you don't miss the deadline for registration. I was out of town for work and didn't stay on top of when registration closed (a full month before the first practices started). I assumed it wouldn't be a big deal as long as you paid the registration fees and were registered before the first practices began. I assumed wrong. Be advised, the president of the program will not make exceptions, even for a little league 9 year old, even if you reach out before the first practice (in fact, I reached out before teams were even finalized). Rules are rules for the Cheyenne youth baseball program, no exceptions. There are no other options in town for youth baseball, so if you miss the deadline, your kiddo isn't playing baseball for the summer (unless you go to another town, which is what we did). read more
