I am here on a trip from out of town. If you are looking for for a very basic casino that smells…read morelike old Vegas, this is the place for you. The machine variety Is nice, but but Iowa state alcohol laws put damper on the mood. Obviously not the casinos fault. The sportsbook is a basic as they come and your better off downloading the Caesar's betting app and going to a sports bar. They don't have sports package for their TVs so you're just watching basic local cable. But I will say that the casino staff is really nice and helpful and even they seem disappointed with the lack of options here. Issabel (not sure if I spelled that correctl) at the sports book ticket counter was very helpful and went out of her way to find out answers to my questions. The night casino staff was not so helpful. Another positive note the price of food is extremely reasonable. I got a 2 decent size sandwiches for under $20, which is unheard of at a Casino in 2026.

A person would think they would have more available on the property itself. The idea is to keep people at the casino and playing. We go off property for lunch also. I don't know maybe a person needs to bring food along like packing for a picknick? ‍We bought two cups of black coffee at $3.50 each and the coffee was barely warm. Many of themed slots they had for years that we did like to play are gone. We have fewer for choices, that's for sure. At least they have kept some of the older slots which is a plus. We had some problems with our room. Our mattress at home is a newer firm mattress. The mattress here appeared to be a newer one and it wasn't firm....it was outright HARD. Just about like laying on a piece of plywood, well almost. My wife could only sleep on it about 3-4 hours and then slept on the couch. That wasn't much more comfortable. Maybe they got some deal on them when they replaced a number of them at once or something? If that's what happened we don't think it was a very good deal. And this is from people such as us that prefer a firm mattress so, IDK. Some problem with HVAC. If you get the temp about correct for the front room the bedroom is very cold. Confusing thermostat, no selection if it's set for heat or A/C. Just arrows up and down for temp. I've never seen a thermostat like that anywhere that I've ever stayed before, not ever. We tried to call down and get a blanket from housekeeping or the front desk but when you press the buttons on the phone for housekeeping or front desk they are "busied out". They just go to a busy signal and that's it. Bad enough if just staying for one night, but more than one night, not good. Seemed like to us that some taking are of the customer is in need.

Got here pretty late post 11 PM CST, booked a room through their website, it was fairly priced, out the door 160-170 ish a night. No hidden Vegas Fees. Was tempted to go on their casino floor, but decided not to, they have tighter security than Yamaava in Highlands California, too lazy to go through their check point. Missed their breakfast hours because I didn't want to wake up. Wanted to use their gym, check out their spa, and pool..........that's gotta be on the next itinerary!

My net loss for the period was over $4,000, and what did this "generous" casino give me in return? Ten measly dollars in free slot play. That's it. One sad little $10 voucher for the "Mystery Gift Card Giveaway," "Spring into Slot Play," and "Match Board Madness" promotions they plaster all over the place. After SIXTY-TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS in action, they hand you a coupon worth less than a tank of gas. Disgusting. I've been to plenty of casinos, but I've never seen a rewards program this insulting. Elite Casino Resorts (the company that owns this dump) clearly thinks their customers are suckers. The flyers promise "free slot play" and "gift cards," but when you actually show up and lose tens of thousands, you get treated like a broke tourist who wandered in off the street. The entire operation feels deliberately designed to squeeze every last dollar out of loyal players and then spit in their face with pathetic crumbs. The casino floor is tired, the promotions are a joke, and the player's club is an outright rip-off. If you're dumb enough to gamble here, don't expect anything resembling value or appreciation for your business. They'll happily take your $62k and hand you back enough free play to maybe win $8 on a penny slot before it's gone. This crooked, greedy, worthless business can rot. I will never spend another cent at Rhythm City Casino & Resort or any other Elite Casino Resorts property. Save your money and your dignity -- go literally anywhere else. " Yes A Smoke a free Casino "…read more We visited the Jumer's Casino in Rock Island, IL and won a few $$$. We did not have enough time to go through the hotel or food areas, but we enjoyed playing a few slot machines. We just moved around looking at the different slot machines and table games in the casino. We also tried the Blackjack slot machines that everybody talks about. They did not work for us. Interesting place however.

The rewards program is an absolute nightmare. They constantly change the times, dates, and which day of the week things drop with zero consistency. You never know when anything is actually available and it becomes a total headache trying to keep track. Even worse, every month they cut your rewards in half even when you spent more than the previous month. You get penalized for spending more. How does that make any sense? I've been coming here for over three months now, dropping well over $5,000 every single month, and the slots are ridiculously tight. Bonuses are almost nonexistent. When you finally do hit one, the payout is bare minimum garbage most of the time. It's like the machines are programmed to just take your money and give nothing back. The hotel side is just as bad. The place is dirty. I've dealt with bed bugs on two separate occasions and management did nothing meaningful about it. There's basically no security whatsoever. Every night you get obnoxious parties raging in the hallways at 3 a.m. with people partying and yelling with zero regard for anyone else. It's nonstop.
