Such a unique experience that I was thrilled to enjoy again. My earlier review below from 4/30/11 still holds -- wouldn't change a word. This drive-in is a MUST DO. Food at the snack bar is fresh cooked and great. The counter staff moves you through quickly so you have your food in hand in plenty of time to enjoy it in your car before the show starts. $8 is the best price anywhere for 2 first run double features. Sound through the radio is perfect every time. Grass is lush and better than mine at home in the yard! As good as the movie experience is, the management and the way the drive-in is run is just as good. The place is clean and well kept. This is a great value for dates AND families and I hope it stays in business until I'm too old to drive.

Saw the movie Oppenheimer, which was very good, but it wouldn't have mattered what the movie was, as the experience is what makes the place special. It hits different lying in a truck bed with blankets and snacks, stars overhead, a warm summer night, and the aroma of popcorn in the air. The snack bar is a must see, pizza is really good and the old school vibe is right outta Happy Days. Get your family, a friend or two, or roll in solo - you'll leave with a good feeling in your soul. Saw the Wicked Movie on screen 18…read more First I don't like this buying tickets at the concessions stuff because it screws anyone who already bought tickets online and wants to buy food. Everyone has to wait in the same line to get food. You basically lose the privilege of planning ahead (and spending $2 more) because you're waiting with all the other plebeians who are buying their tickets same day. We bought online then went straight in to get our seats, but when I came back I found I had to go all the way back OUTSIDE to get in line for food. Also so screen 18 was showing a musical. There was something immediately off about the sound. You could hear it, but there were no mids and little bass. The sound system was so flat that whole 3hr picture. Watching a musical, this bugged me so much. It just wasn't as full as you'd expect a theater sound system to be. Lastly 2 boxes of candy and a regular and large popcorn were $35. Stars deducted.

First time visiting this theater, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience…read more It started with an outrageous upcharge just to order tickets online--pretty ridiculous for a small-town theater. Once we got there, it didn't get any better. The soda was extremely watered down and barely drinkable, and the popcorn was definitely not fresh--stale and disappointing. The theater itself was dark when we were trying to find our seats, making it tough to navigate, and then oddly, the lights came on during the previews instead of before. But here's where it really went downhill--the air conditioning wasn't working at all. It was unbearably hot, easily the most uncomfortable I've ever been in a theater. To top it off, the video quality was awful--maybe 720p at best--with poor colors that made the movie look like it was playing on a broken projector or a bootleg copy. We spent nearly $75 for four people--just tickets, popcorn, and drinks--and walked out feeling completely let down. No candy, no comfort, and honestly, no reason to go back. We love going to the movies, and as newcomers to town, we had high hopes. Sadly, this isn't a place we'd recommend. It's worth the drive to a better theater or just waiting to watch at home.

The most uncomfortable seating imaginable. Did they purchase them from a condemned prison? Because they felt more like torture devices than something someone would pay money for. I couldn't be paid to return. Absolutely the worst movie going experience ever. I couldn't imagine a way to make it worse. But I'm sure they are working on some way to achieve just that.
