The three level mini-mall located above the Friendship Heights Metro Station-Red Line. Amongst the retail shops of H&M & JCrew, you'll find a Starbuck's centrally located on the 1st floor, World Market, T-Mobile, Civil Lounge, Sunrise Newsstand, The Cheesecake Factory, CVA & the Embassy Suites Hotel. Very convenient via Metro, yet there's a dedicated underneath parking starting at $5/Hour. The Wisconsin Avenue entrance is open 6A-10P & Military Road is open 24/7. I think I like this mall. Only been here once to have lunch at The Cheesecake Factory, but afterward we strolled through the shops. Parking is very convenient for this location. Also at least some of the businesses/restaurants validate for parking. We were told it would be half off the parking rate (which wasn't expensive to begin with) but I don't think it was exactly half. Didn't bother asking the parking attendant. read more

I feel badly for this mall but want to warn others that, at this time, there is nothing open in this mall but a CVS store, J. Crew, and Cheesecake Factory, as far as we could tell. This mall is my shopping place. I love to stroll around the shops here. I go here more than twice a week to shop and go to Starbucks. There's few restaurants inside. It's so convenient to everything. It has a tunnel to go down the Friendship Heights Metro Station (Red Light) and that tunnel is also connected to Neiman Marcus Building, More Shops here and fast foods are here as well. This place is really cool especially when the weather is bad outside. You will still enjoy it without the hassle of getting wet in the rain, or get cold during winter season or get burnt outside when it's really hot in the summer. This place is really a place for me to shops and maybe for YOU too! read more

If you are looking for an informal group meeting place, this is not it, move on. There is a large atrium in the center of this shopping mall, which you would think would be a great place to meet and have informal meetings. WRONG! Their security guards are very strict, no moving of chairs, no sitting on the arm of chairs. Today when we had our US Census Enumerator meeting we were told that this is not a place for group meetings and to dispurse. In the past they had always been hospitable, even allowing you to bring Segways into the building. But that policy has changed as well. I would rate this as a very unfriendly location. You are welcome to come in shop and buy an expensive coffee at Starbucks, but don't linger too long. This shopping mall has an odd variety of stores; they do work with the surrounding stores in the Friendship Heights area. So shop, but don't stay long! read more

These "shops" leave me with an empty feeling inside... I went to the area expecting some upscale shops all in one place but what I found was a sparse indoor shopping area and few great staples. Of course you cant loose when you have a Filenes (which will soon be closed), Nordstrom Rack, TJmaxx and Loehmann's all in the same place.. I just wish there was more inside the "Shops" area instead of having to leave and walk outside for most. Call me lazy or afraid of the cold, but when its cold outside the last thing i want to do is walk around outside with all my bags. read more

Ahhhh a shopping mall with shops, eateries, coffee bar & a CVS store/pharmacy in the same building my hotel was located in. It was such a treat to have all of this at my disposal. Stores like Old Navy, World Market and my newest love, H&M were all here! Plus there was a Starbucks coffee bar on the first floor. Parking was surprisingly super easy here and the spaces were huge, so I didn't feel like I needed to squeeze myself in one like a little mouse. Hungry? The Cheesecake Factory and the Range were in the building. My family and I were staying at the Embassy Suites that was on the 3rd floor (I think) of the mall area, so yes, there's a hotel on-site, too! There appeared to be offices on some of the higher floors as well. It was big, but not too large where it took forever to get from one store to another. I needed to do some last-minute Christmas shopping, so popped on over to some of my favorite stores (mentioned above) to do some quick retail therapy. Shopping is not one of my favorite things to do, so malls like this that is more like a boutique shopping center, where stores are easily accessible are perfect for me. Step outside of the pavilion and there are some other cool shops and eateries close by; walking distance. read more

This is a nice shopping plaza. There's a CVS, H&M, World Market, Starbucks, cheesecake factory, old navy, and other shops. The bathrooms are pretty clean though sort of hidden in the back on the bottom floor. The hotel above the shops is excellent too. Nice place to shop and get out of the cold/heat of the outdoors! read more

Not a good place it very boring and a waist of time don't both with spending time here!

I can't really speak to the shopping or the overpriced parking, but some credit is due for the presence of Range by Voltaggio. With Saks and Neiman down the street plus Cole Haan across the way there are certainly reasons to end up in the area, but definitely a bit outside of DC proper. read more

This building is a beautiful facility, BUT, be forewarned, their parking garage has terrible security. While in the building last year my car window was smashed and my car was rifled through. Security called the Metro Police who initiated a report. The security folks were helpful and sympathetic and stayed with me until the police arrived during which time they brought a plastic sheet and duct tape to help me seal up my open window. When I later tried to be compensated for damages, the Pavilion management people gave me the "too bad, so sad" routine. They did, however, waive my parking fee for that day. Woohoo! read more

I really like this area. It has the best shops and restaurants, including PF Changs and Cheese Cake Factory.

They are building an H&M in here. I just started a position in a building that is literally connected to this building, so it's like trouble just awaits me on the other side of the wall. Shopping is just what I do, lol. read more

The parking is convenient, but there aren't many shops. I wish there were more. I probably won't return due to the lack of selection.

Ok... I have to say it! I am so depressed about the new, ridiculous layout! I miss the old peaceful pavilion and now they have ruined it trying to look all trendy and modern with these dumb flashing lights and steel bars. When I first moved to DC, I used to love going in here and feel nostalgic just thinking about it and how they had the beautiful holdiay decorations and huge, gorgeous fountain in the middle. They wasted an entire year of nonsense and millions of dollars to ruin a good thing! read more

I stayed at the Embassy Suites Chevy Chase (please gander at my review) so you stay at the hotel, you stay at the mall since it is in the middle of the hotel. The parking situation makes me green, the garage is very clean and managed effectively, however the height is short, I think it was around 6' so if I drove, I would be up a creek because I have a Hummer, but my family were the drivers for this excursion to Washington D.C. and they had a Chevy Traverse which has no height issues without any luggage on the top rack of the car. There are a lot of columns to avoid, to the point that every three parking spaces were obscured by one and the set up was done by a applejohn as the parking spaces are curved every which way I tell you so it was confusing for everybody. There are multiple sets of elevators though, some that go to the mall, office building, and hotel. The hotel elevators go to the lobby and not to the hotel rooms which is a good security feature. The Mall itself has been renovated since the last time that I frequented the hotel in 2010. The stores moved around a dat. There is a Cheesecake Factory (review), Range by some famous fella, CVS (no cigs! not that I smoke), World Market, Starbucks, and a small conv. shop by the escalators that go to the MetroRail. The metrorail is directly below the mall. You simply take a set of escalators to Metro then you go to a underground common area that has escalators to the street, Mezza Gallery, Hotel, and to trains. I think there may still be a Potter Barn. It is small but without ever going outside you can be connected to the Mezza Gallery which has even more stores, classy stores. The bathrooms were very clean and safe as there are cameras everywhere. The stairs are illuminated and they are really nice. read more
