(Filled-up 01/10/18 WE @ 12:30pm...and a couple times before): Not the cheapest...but they were the most convenient! While in the city of Whittier, this Chevron Stations had quickly become my gas station of choice simply because of its proximity to the freeway and the property I managed and owned with my family. I mainly chose gas stations based on the prices and location location location. Would I continue to get gas from this mega gas supplier!?: PURCHASE 87 Unleaded Regular Gas ($42.50): I was hoping to make it to "my" Costco Gas location, but the GPS read that I wasn't going to make it, so I went in! I casually did a U-Turn into the station, pulled into the first open pump on the driver's side, and did my thing. After 12.28 gallons of gas at $3.45/gallon (credit card price was $0.10 more per gallon), I was good to go on my way for the rest of a busy day! Andy Capp's Hot Fries Corn & Potato Snacks ($1.59): An impulse buy, its namesake used to be one of the many comic strips I read as a child, so naturally it caught my attention - damn you marketers! Basically, this tasted like my favorite Funyuns road trip snack but not in ring form, colored in a Trumpian orange Oompa-Loopma tint, spicy as a chili pepper, and left your fingers stained even after you tried to lick them clean. Otherwise, all was good. PARKING (FREE) There were a couple designated spots around the right of the Food Mart. Otherwise, there was no need for parking because you simply wanted to pull in, pull out, and be on your way. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A short price signage at the corner of Beverly Blvd. and Norwalk Blvd. only visible along Beverly Blvd. as you approached the intersection. With the aforementioned small-sized "Food Mart" convenience store, this was a spacious covered gas station with designated pump and thoroughfare lanes. There was plenty of natural lighting during the day while I imagined bright electric lights flooded the night. There were no TVs but background music played inside the Food Mart. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL This Chevron gas station at the corner of Beverly and Norwalk Blvds. Served its purpose. They definitely didn't have the cheapest gas in town but were centralized to my in-town business. Generally-speaking, the entore facility was well-kept and clean. As I got more familiar to the area, I was certain to find better alternatives...or planned better to have more than enough gas to get me to a Costco Gas station. However, I abhorred the fact that they had separate prices for cash vs. credit ($0.10 difference) and charged for air/water; these were the main factors in my rating. I found fairly good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $44.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). i love coming to any chevron with extra mile because they always have the best deals ! I love getting my snacks and hot dogs and free water with my reward program ! But secondly their new manager Diane has been very friendly and helpful . I come to this gas station almost every day and she's honestly the one person i look forward to seeing because she isn't rude or giving me attitude like the ladies at arco ! More often than not, the pumps here are horribly slow to pump the gas. I would fill up my tank here if it Didn't take so long. Unfortunately, it's convenient to stop here, but not good to fill up. Do not use their pumps. My credit information has been stolen twice now within a month of each other. The first time I went in to notify whoever was working and they reassured me that their pumps were "smart pumps" and they check all pumps everyday. Now this has happened again. I will never use this gas station again. Hopefully the owner sees this and fixes the problem. Now is not the time to be losing customers. read more

WARNING: DO NOT US GAS PUMPS HERE!!!! The pumps at this Chevron station have skimmers in them, that is for certain. My debit card information was stolen an hour after using the gas pumps here. Simply go to YouTube and search for "skimming scams", you will see how the skimmers are installed in gas pumps, unfortunately this Chevron has been tampered with. Careful, they had a scan on the pump. Luckily my credit card was able to catch it on time, there were already three charge attempts made. The credit card is taking care of the charges and will be seeking legal action. However, when I let the station know about it all they had to say is call your credit card company and the police, which of course I assured them that was the case already. You would think they would be more concern, maybe even go to the pump and see/inspect it. Things that make you go Hmmmmmmm........They certainly loss my business. Good luck people. read more

Needed to get gas before work one morning and the pump was being strange. I thought nothing of it and then the pump stopped on its own. I looked and I only got like 5 dollars worth of gas and my car, which has a digital read out of how much mileage you have, didn't go up. So basically I was charged for gas but my car never actually received the gas. My husband called the attendant who was very rude saying that it was so little of gas that we couldn't tell. He advised him that our car was digital and basically told Us how much gas we actually had and he didn't care. My husband mentioned that he was going dispute the charge with the bank to which the manager replied "yeah, you go try that" I know it was only 5 bucks but we know we didn't receive gas and the guy just kinda laughed it off. read more

Ok: #1) I paid for $30 of gas, the pump stopped at $20.82. Cashier said it would be refunded to my card. That was yesterday, still no refund. #2) After I drove away it was over a 1/2 tank. Today it's below 1/4 and that NEVER happened so... are you SURE you're dispensing supreme unleaded when you say you are? My car mileage begs to differ. Do NOT get gas here. You'll end up getting ripped off and told you're wrong about it. Twice now I've gone here to put in my last few bucks only to have the machine charge me, stop prematurely, and then checked my car to see no gas was pumped and my last precious dollars were wasted. Both times, I called and spoke to the manager and they said that gas was pumped and maybe my gas was so low that it didn't make a difference. Well my car is a newer car with good mileage and a digital meter that shows how much gas I have and how many remaining miles the gas will give me. Even 5 dollars makes a difference. The first time I didn't have a receipt because the machine didn't print one when I asked for it. That time I was told if I had the receipt I could be helped. The second time I had the receipt. Didn't help at all. Ended up having to dispute the charges with my bank and got the money back that way since the manager was cocky and so certain that I was wrong that he straight out told me I was wrong. I went in to the gas station as usual to go into pay because the pumps outside never work.. well yesterday I had to use the restroom & I am always let in because Hadley tow use to pay for our gas there well not anymore this new girl crystal they hired is always rude & blunt to me she told me the restroom IS OUT OF ODER OKAY! THERE'S A SIGN ON THE DOOR! but not only to me I Hurd her telling another customer there's a trash right there that's why there is a trash there for you to throw away your own trash!!! She made me mad because no one should be rude to anyone like that!!! lucky me there was another employee coming in at the time & she knew me & apologize to me for her rude co-worker & wished me a good day...am I the only one experiencing this rude behavior???
